@countrygurl1 A person can't help but to like this video. Some of the best music is played in an informal setting in the kitchens of the world. That was fantastic.
had the pleasure to meet the kruger brothers last night, i did the sound for their opening act. they are not only great musicians (mindblowing fretwork on both the bajo and flat top) but true professionals (they brought their own sound crew); earlier in July i had the honor of doing sound for Wayne Henderson and Jeff Little the day before Wayne's festival.
I dream of LISTENING in venues like this one! I'm considering relocating to North Carolina and just parking in their neighborhood with the car windows down......Lord! Never forget first time I heard the Krugers. I was at a Joe Val festival and thought Swiss bluegrass? Nah....I'm gonna go jam with so and so in the hall, but I walked by the auditorium and it sounded like 3 bands having a WAR onstage. My ears PULLED ME INSIDE and I've been a Kruger Bros fan ever since! (Me & Tut Taylor, lol.)
someone told me jens started his days on a tenor banjo and what a tribute genius.

@Crowtch Hi, that is an old song by George L. Cobb: "Alabama Jubilee" and something funny and different to play in a jam-session :-)

JENS -- You're a wild man! Love the "Pizza Parlor" solo at the end.

I love it! Swiss men living in North Carolina, playing "Alabama Jubilee" in Virginia!
That's what makes bluegrass a universal language!
(That and having Jens in the room!)

Sweet!! I wish the video-photographer would have showed the guitar player who was playing leads with his back to the camera(was it Scott Fore?)
