  • "Regardless of which particular false doctrines they teach, false prophets and false teachers are an inevitable part of the last days."

  • Eph 4: 11-14

  • Beware of false teachers

  • Mark 1:4; Mark 16:16; Acts 8:38; Matt 28:19

  • @carmvideos

Ephesians 5:17 "Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is."

Without bringing up anything on what was the person who is on their death bed doing before they got to that point, I would like to mention that when someone is in a hospital the medical staff in almost every circumstance will allow for someone to be taken to a bath tub and baptized, as long as a medical staff member is present. Babies on the other are without sin, therefore, no need for baptism

  • @BlackFox0911 The first part of Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved;" There are two words there between believes and baptized, "and is". Furthermore, if someone does not believe why would they get baptized?? This being said there is no reason for it to mention baptism in the following statement of "He who does not believe will be condemned" because without belief there is no reason for the baptism anyway. Also, John 3:18? What is your point? It says they are not condemned.

  • Does not say that they are saved because they simply believe.

  • james 2:14-17

  • when a person recognizes who Jesus Christ really is , the result is the desire to do what He commands Matt 28:19,20

  • Comment removed

  • Justifed by faith. I really wish my brother can get that through his thick skull.

  • Oh. And one more thing. Jesus was still alive when he promised the thief on the cross salvation. The thief was still subject to the old covenant because the day of Pentacost hadn't come to pass yet

  • John 3:5 and Mark 16:16

There's all you need to know. Now please. Entertain me by trying to twist these verses to fit your needs

  • @BlackFox0911 Concerning Mark 16:16, Jesus very plainly says in the second part of this passage “he who does not believe will be condemned”. Jesus says in John 3:18, “He who believes in Him is not condemned”.

  • @BlackFox0911

    amen

  • Acts 10 proves that baptism is necessary for salvation. 1 Cor. 1:17 does not say Paul didn't preach baptism, merely that he was glad he didn't baptize anyone because of factions. Acts 2:38 "Repent and be baptized for the remission of your sins" 1 Pet. 3:21 "Baptism now saves you"

  • Lastly, forget about death bed salvations!! Christ wants you now! At some point in most people's lives they have a choice to make and many choose not to follow Christ. So, when they are on their death bed they get to accept Christ and receive salvation? Sorry but it does NOT work this way nor is it recorded anywhere in the bible that one can receive a death bed salvation. Think about it--how many people do you know that have rejected God / Jesus? Most do get an opportunity to reach out to Christ

  • Baptism into Jesus Christ changes you from DEATH to LIFE 1/ You are in the body of Christ 2/ You are the Church 3/ Your name is written in the Book of LIFE 4/ You are the ELECT 5/ You are a Joint-Heir with Christ 6/ You have a relationship with Christ -- He knows you -- very important 7/ Circumcision of Heart -- marked / identified 8/ Sealed by the Holy Ghost 9/ You receive HIS family name 10/ Your DEATH state from Adam has been changed to LIFE in Christ Much More-- so get baptized
  • Jesus did not command Faith, Believing or Trusting.

He commanded baptism into His name. Jesus commanded baptism so, for everyone that speaks aginst baptism for salvation will one day stand before Jesus to explain why you spoke against one of His most very important commandments. Jesus went to the cross so we could follow Him in DEATH, BURIAL & RESURRECTION. If you omit baptism for salvation then you are denying the power of the cross and the shedding of His blood.

    Adam=DEATH - CHRIST = LIFE

  • Faith alone does not remit sin

Believing alone does not remit sin

Trusting alone does not remit sin

You can not get to heaven unless your sins/death state has been changed from death to life

So what remits sin/death? Baptism into Jesus Christ

What changes you unto life? Baptism into Jesus Christ

How? Read Romans 6 Paul explains the process

When we are burried in the water we are DEAD with Jesus

When we are raised out of the water we are made to drink the spirit -made a LIVE unto Christ

  • Question: Isnt it a twenty minute presentation on how baptism "doesnt" save you a contradiction against "Sola Scriptura"? According to Luther, everything in the Bible is "obvious".

  • John 3:5 "Jesus answered, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.'"

  • I'm pretty sure you have to follow everything it says in the Bible in order to be saved. I myself want to just to be sure. Baptism does not work without faith (Col 2:12), but Jesus pairs them together in Mark 16:16 and Paul in Gal 3:26-27. Romans 9-13 says you have to confess "Jesus is Lord", too, but it is paired with baptism in Acts 22:16. HOWEVER/IMPORTANT: Matt 10:22-you CANNOT do one thing and be GUARNTEED salvation. People do fall away.

  • Nowhere in the New Testament does it say anything about baptism being a symbolic gesture, representing the New Covenant. We are literally buried with Christ through baptism. Without this, we cannot be raised with him. Rom 6:4, Col 2:12

"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved." First step in that is believing that Jesus Christ is Lord, which means we are required to obey--if we don't, then either we don't really believe that Jesus is Lord or we openly rebel against Him.

  • @cdamianjohnson

Very true !!!!! Glad to hear someone else say what I have been stating for years.

Baptism into Jesus Christ is the begining of your salvation journey.

    God Bless !!

  • This guy sounds a lot like a Pharisee

  • James was writing to the 12 tribes of ISRAEL. I am not HEBREW!

If you add water baptism then you add a work to salvation. I am saved by Grace through faith. My works will be judged at the Bema seat of Chrisy after the rapture 1 Cor 3:12-15

  • Do I need to be watrer baptized and follow the the law to be saved YES or NO?

  • John 3 Christ says by water and by spirit in this you are correct by Christ also goes on the clarify that very statement by adding for the confused Nicodemus "That born of the flesh is of the flesh (water) That born of the Spirit is of Spirit (Spirit)

I am sorry but it is clear you need to study more in exegetical depth but I also warn you. Do not pervert the gospel with works.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "that which is born of the flesh is flesh" simply refers to Nicodemus's Jewish heritage - it has no reference to natural childbirth in AMNIONIC FLUID. I've heard that one - and there is no reference in either sacred nor profane Koine Greek writings that EVER equates "born of water" with CHILDBIRTH. It's a fabricated dodge - and the majority of commentators, including Hovey (Baptist), agree.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "Do not pervert the gospel with works." Oh, proceed to quote that ONE VERSE that mentions your doctrine: faith only or faith alone. I'd like to see it, but you won't dare quote it. Methinks it's in James 2.

  • @lllannallll

Read James 1:1 To the 12 tribes of ISRAEL. I am not a Hebrew so why would I apply that to me?

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "Do not pervert the gospel with works." The "gospel" - the FACTS of the gospel are the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Now, Jesus will return, taking vengeance upon those who "obey NOT the gospel." So you MUST obey the gospel, in some manner. Tell us HOW you propose to "obey the gospel." SURELY you wont claim that you'll simply have FAITH (BELIEF) in it.

  • @lllannallll Thats exactly what I say. Grace through FAITH and nothing else. Not the Law, Not water baptism, not by eating certain foods. Grace through faith and nothing else

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "Grace through faith and nothing else" Too bad you can't find a VERSE that says that. You might find "grace through faith", but you won't say WHEN this "grace through faith" saves. I asked for ONE VERSE that mentions "faith alone" or "faith only" about FOUR times, you cannot or WILL NOT quote it. It harms your cause.

  • @lllannallll It just goes to show you CANT READ Eph 2:8-9 and I gave about 8 or 9 verses.

  • @claudius860 Thief on the cross, was He baptized? The house of Cornelius where indwelt with the HOLY SPIRIT and saved WITHOUT water baptism. Acts 10:44-45

Christ came to BAPTIZE with the HOLY SPIRIT Matthew 3:11

    (1) John's Baptism is with water (2) Christs baptism is with the HOLY SPIRIT

Acts 19:1-5 Paul encounters people that were of JOHNS BAPTISM but when informed of Christ they were baptized by the Holy Spirit.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "Thief on the cross, was He baptized?" Who knows? I don't, and I'm QUITE SURE that you don't. When did the testament of Jesus Christ go into effect, i. e. when was the Mosaic economy terminated? Was the thief SAVED under the Mosaic dispensation or the Christian dispensation? I'd say the Mosiac, since Jesus was STILL LIVING, but we'll see what you come up with.

  • @lllannallll

I quote JESUS CHRIST in Luke 23:43 Jesus answered him saying "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise" Close quote

When did the thief go from being a thief to being saved? Upon acknowledging Jesus Christ had a Kingdom. Christ having a kingdom means He was GOD

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "When did the thief go from being a thief to being saved?" I have no idea, and you don't either. YOU stated the thief was never baptized. YOU need to set out to PROVE that assertion. I can prove PETER was never baptized with whatever evidence you offer about thief, I'd imagine. So proceed with your proof.

  • @lllannallll Are you really this dense? I quoted Christ and I did not see one verse showing the thief being baptized. You are trying to argue from something that is clearly not there and you are trying to say that He was saved and baptized before he was put on the cross.

If this is your idea of exegetical studies you are seriously lacking. You are trying to imply with a lack of evidence that hje was baptized and the fact remains Christ said he was going to paradise.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "You are trying to argue from something that is clearly not there and you are trying to say that He was saved and baptized before he was put on the cross." No, sir, YOU said he wasn't baptized - you ASSERTED that which you CANNOT PROVE, then accuse OTHERS of doing JUST THAT? I didn't imply he was baptized or NOT baptized - I implied that you can't prove one way or another. And you can't. Are YOU that dense?

  • @THERAPTURECOMES If you'd like to "back up" your assertion that the thief NEVER received the baptism or John or, later, possibly baptism at the teaching of Christ, then DO SO. Other than THAT, just say you have no idea.

  • @lllannallll I have given you plenty of verses but you have no idea on how to study the bible or to understand what it says.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "you have no idea on how to study the bible or to understand what it says." I asked you WHEN faith saves, not IF faith saves. NO ANSWER. CAN'T ANSWER. I asked you under WHAT DISPENSATION the thief was saved? NO ANSWER. CAN'T AFFORD TO ANSWER. I asked you how YOU plan to "obey the gospel"? NO ANSWER. Wanna know WHY? "Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only ...for as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."

  • @lllannallll You see this is what I mean about not knowing how to study. Salvation has ALWAYS been about GRACE through faith from the OT to the NT. It was accounted unto Abraham righteousness for his faith Gal 3:6, Gen 15:6, Rom 4:3

You keep quoting James and James is written to the 12 tribes. I am not Hebrew nor of the 12 tribes.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "Gen 15:6" Oh, to fit YOUR DOCTRINE, Abraham could not have trusted in God NOR done any works prior to Gen 15: 6. So tell us, was Abraham justified by FAITH (1) before his faith produced any works or (2) AFTER his faith had produced works? This oughta be good.

  • @lllannallll Again, works were never mentioned Abraham was Justified by his FAITH.

I believe that Jesus Christ came, shed His Holy Blood for me, died and Resurrected three days later. I am fully saved by this belief (FAITH) and nothing else.

Salvation is a GIFT and not of WORKS (water baptism)

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "Again, works were never mentioned Abraham was Justified by his FAITH." You might re-read Gen 12. Abraham had faith in God AND did many works, including worship, sacrifices, and obedience WELL PRIOR to Gen 15. Works were MOST DEFINITELY "mentioned" prior to Gen 15.

  • @lllannallll But those things did not SAVE HIM.

Let me ask you this. You say that I must do works (baptism) obeying the ten commandments (law) in order to earn my salvation? Is this what you are saying?

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "But those things did not SAVE HIM." Those works - worship, sacrifice, obedience occurred PRIOR TO Gen 15. Abraham is not an example of salvation of "faith without works." He HAD works prior to Gen 15.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "I am fully saved by this belief (FAITH) and nothing else." Good grief. You didn't even have to repent. So you think you "obey the gospel" by simply BELIEVING it? THAT won't hold water. THAT is the point of a DEAD FAITH - you have BELIEVED, but have FAITH ONLY. "Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only." Can't reconcile James, can you?

  • @lllannallll I have no need to reconcile James. He is writing to the 12 tribes and I am not of the 12 tribes. My apostles is PAUL!

  • @lllannallll So you are saying that I must earn my salvation through water baptism and obeying the ten commandments. I MUST EARN IT? Is this what you are saying.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "I MUST EARN IT? Is this what you are saying." I just SAID that NOTHING you can do will "earn" salvation. You can't place God in the position of a DEBTOR paying you what you EARNED. We are saved BY GRACE, but not GRACE ONLY. That question is about as silly as my asking YOU if your "faith only" EARNED your salvation.

  • @lllannallll You have got to be one of the most confused people I have ever met. You say out one side of your mouth that we are saved by Grace then turn right around and say out the other side of your mouth we need to be water baptized and follow the ten commandments (Law)

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "then turn right around and say out the other side of your mouth we need to be water baptized and follow the ten commandments (Law)" LOL I never said we were saved by the 10 commandments. Not once - never believed it. So I know you just made that up. If you'll provide the quote FROM ME pertaining to the ten commandments, I'll just quit and admit I lied or something. If you can't, I'll just admit that YOU are a liar. Gotta be one or the other. Just copy and paste it.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "You say out one side of your mouth that we are saved by Grace then turn right around and say out the other side of your mouth we need to be water baptized " Lemme re-word that: 'You say out one side of your mouth that we are saved by Grace then turn right around and say out the other side of your mouth we must HAVE FAITH." What's faith? A form of a MENTAL WORK. Ridiculous accusation, but I'm waiting for that 10 commandments quote. GOOD LUCK on finding it.

  • @lllannallll Yopu are correct and I made an ASSUMPTION but in all truth what else is there? You leave no choice but to assume that.

I say "Grace through Faith ALONE (NO WORKS)

You say "?" Grace through Faith but not ALONE??? If not alone then what do you say that can be ADDED?

It can only be one or the other Grace through Faith ALONE or something ADDED. Which is it?

  • @THERAPTURECOMES You see by your reasoning ("It can only be one or the other Grace through Faith ALONE or something ADDED."), you exclude repentance and loving God. Do you believe one is saved by "grace through faith ALONE" without repentance or loving God.

  • @lllannallll Read 1 Cor 3:13-15 and realize that the people at the Bema seat of Christ are on a sliding scale from the least to the most.

Repent = Change your mind (Believe)

I believe that Grace through faith is all encompassing and that alone is what saves. I believe that Christ is my Lord (God) and Savior and if I believe that I LOVE HIM.

Having said that, there are those at the bema seat that just get by with their britches on fire 1 Cor 3:12-15

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "Repent = Change your mind (Believe)" REPENT is a command in Acts 2 to BELIEVERS. "I believe that Grace through faith is all encompassing and that alone is what saves." Well, AMEN to that one. "Grace through faith" includes belief, trust, repentance, loving God, confession of faith, and baptism into Christ." I couldn't have said it better.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "Repent = Change your mind (Believe)" LOL "Repent" doesn't precede belief at all. When did you ever hear of the goodness of God causing a NONBELIEVER to repent of his sin?

  • @lllannallll So then you are saying God repented Exudes 32:14? Is it not lear in this context that it means Changed his mind?

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "I believe that Christ is my Lord (God) and Savior and if I believe that I LOVE HIM." That's true .. but which came first? Belief IN Him or LOVING Him? Can a person BELIEVE IN Him and NEVER repent? Yes, one can - one can also BELIEVE IN Him and not bother to confess it. They just kinda keep it a secret. One can also BELIEVE IN Him and NEVER be baptized. People such as those described above have "faith only" - nothing more.

  • @lllannallll So if I believe in him and am not baptized in water am I saved yes or no?

  • @THERAPTURECOMES NO ! You MUST be baptized into Jesus Christ before you are added to the Church.

    Acts 2:41

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls

    Acts 8:13

Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized..

    Acts 19:5

When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus - Then they were filled with the Holy Ghost which changed you from DEATH to LIFE --eternal LIFE in Christ

  • @wilby1414

Then the thief on the cross is not saved and the house of Cornelius was saved BEFORE baptism.

Mark 1:6 Christ will baptize with the Holy Spirit.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES 1 Cor. 3:12-15 has nothing to do with someone who falls away, it is someone who builds ON the foundation. If you aren't on Christ you aren't saved.

The Rapture is false. Read Heb. 9:27, 1 Th. 4:13-18. Jesus will come in the clouds, dead in Christ will rise, then those who are living will rise WITH THE DEAD IN CHRIST to MEET HIM IN THE AIR, no room for Rapture, 2nd judgments, etc.. there will be ONE judgment.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES Mark 1:6 who would Christ baptize with the HS? Acts 1:5 says it was the 12 APOSTLES not everyone. It only happened twice, once in Acts 2 and in Acts 10, and never gave salvation. Spirit baptism doesn't occur today for there is only one baptism (Eph. 4:4) the one Jesus preached (Matt. 28:18-20; Mark 16:16) and the apostles preached (Acts 2:38; 1 Pet. 3:21; Romans 6).

  • @clearedtoengage

Then you call the scripture I listed a Lie. Christ sent the Holy Spirit. If I show you a verse that states that Christ will do something don't you think that is exactly what He will do? But instead what do you do? You place w orks in the place of Grace.

Every person that becomes a believer is indwelt with the Holy Spirit and it is called BORN AGAIN.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES Christ sent the Holy Spirit to WHOM? Christ said He would baptize THEM (the apostles) not many days hence, and He fulfilled it on Pentecost (Acts 2). I do not call the Scripture a lie, I show you how it was fulfilled. Works and grace and faith all work together according to Scripture.. any one of them alone will not save, but faith + works (James 2:14-26) is salvation, while faith without works is death. Grace is provided to us freely, but we must ACT and OBEY.

  • @clearedtoengage

Let me guess, you are a 'Church of Christ' member aren't you? CULT

  • @THERAPTURECOMES Rom. 16:16 "The churches of Christ greet you." I don't see how that's a cult! Eph 4:4 there is ONE church.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "Is this what you are saying." I'm saying you must be saved by "faith working through love" - not faith doing NOTHING. I'm saying you are saved by living, active faith - not a DEAD one. I'm saying that all men everywhere must REPENT in order to be saved - not simply have a lil "faith only." YOU teach salvation AT THE POINT of a non-working, impenitent, inoperative, DEAD faith, a.k.a. "faith only." No WONDER James said "not by faith only."

  • @THERAPTURECOMES If God said you must do X action to be saved, and you instead choose to only have faith, what does that say about your soul? IT'S NOT SAVED, brother! 2 Th. 1:7-9 says that those who are disobedient will perish. 1 Pet. 2:7-8 shows that disobedient will perish. If faith alone saves, why was Cornelius baptized in Acts 10? For salvation.

  • @clearedtoengage -

Cornelius was indwelt by the Holy Spirit BEFORE water baptism. which means he was saved BEFORE water baptism.

You are no better than a mormon or a SDA by adding works to Grace which is another GOSPEL. Fear Gal 1:8-9

    Grace through faith verses Rom 3:28-30, 4:5, 5:1, 9:30, 10:4,11:6, Gal 2:16, 2:21, 3:5-6,3:24, Eph 2:8-9, Phil 3:9

If you teach that a person must be water baptized in order to be saved then you are adding works to Grace and teaching ANOTHER GOSPEL

  • @THERAPTURECOMES Indwelling of the Holy Spirit by itself does NOT save. Have you ever read John 3? You are as confused as Nicodemus.

Gal. 1:8-9 actually condemns you, because you ignore the verses that say OBEDIENCE is necessary to salvation.

Do I deny grace through faith? NO! But grace and faith alone cannot save. According to the Bible grace is made available to all (Titus 2:11).

  • @clearedtoengage

I gave a list of verse that show you are CLEARLY wrong and you are an evil and wicked person that will soon understand why Gal 1:8-9 is to be feared. You are under the same bondage you have always been under and to trample on the cross of Christ.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES -BUZZER- Wrong. You trample on Christ's words that HE spoke. John 3 says you must be born of WATER AND THE SPIRIT.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES There is something else that we must do to be saved. If faith only saves, then Saul (turned to Paul) was saved ON the road to Damascus, correct? And any Jew who believed that He was the Christ was saved?

  • @clearedtoengage

I do not speak to the salvation of Jews except to say this. In Christ there is neither Jew nor Gentile. Salvation to the Hebrews will come through a KINGDOM under Christ and His thousand year reign. This is after all the whole point of Daniels 70th week.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES Salvation to the Hebrews has already come, for in Acts 10 Gentiles were saved. The KINGDOM OF GOD is already open to all and Christ is currently reigning over it. Matt 3:2 said at that time the kingdom was soon to come. Dan 2:44- in the days of THOSE KINGS (Roman) the kingdom would be established. Col. 1:13 says we are ALREADY IN THE KINGDOM. Christ is ALREADY reigning according to Daniel 7:13-14- Jesus was given the kingdom when He came to the Father not from.

  • @clearedtoengage

Matt 3:2 Is John the Baptist announcing the arrival of Christ as shown by the use of the word 'HE' in the next verse. If the Nation of Israel had recognized Jesus as their Messiah the Kingdom of Heaven would have started and been REALIZED in this world right then and there. They did not and the gospel moved to the gentiles. Christ and His kingdom were put on hold until the time of the gentiles is complete. Then that final week of Daniel will be finished and Christ will return

  • @THERAPTURECOMES No. Just.. no. The Kingdom of Heaven has ALREADY STARTED. Do you believe that Jesus was too weak to fulfill His purpose? That He could not understand that the Jews were going to reject Him? HIS DEATH ON THE CROSS AND REJECTION BY THE JEWS WERE PROPHESIED IN THE OLD TESTAMENT! Eph. 3:10-11. The church/body/kingdom was realized in this world already and is still continuing (Eph. 4:4; Col. 1:13, 24). Christ was NOT PUT ON HOLD. Daniel's prophecy has been fulfilled.

  • @clearedtoengage

    Utter and willful ignorance

  • @clearedtoengage

Christ 2nd advent Rev 1:7 EVERY EYE WILL SEE HIM. Matthew 24:30 all the nations will see Him when they see Him coming in great power and GLORY.

Show me Christ sitting on His throne in History, Show me in the news (history) when Christ returned in great power and Glory with His angels and every living being saw it.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES Rev. 1:7 is in REVELATION which is FIGURATIVE not LITERAL, speaking of things SHORTLY TO COME TO PASS. Matt 24:30 is not speaking of Christ's LITERAL return. It is speaking of His return in judgment on AD70- Jerusalem. Christ is sitting on the throne irght now!

  • @THERAPTURECOMES You believe that God was so weak that He didn't know the Jews would reject Him? You are straight from the devil! Matthew 16:28- Jesus said the Kingdom would come before some of them passed away. Do you believe Jesus was a LIAR? The kingdom is already in place. Christ is ruling His kingdom right now (Eph. 1:20). Read Daniel 7:13-14. Jesus is presented the kingdom when He COMES to the Father, not leaves the Father. That means when He was resurrected.

  • @clearedtoengage

John saw the the throne room of heaven and Jesus Glorified before he died. In fact, that is the book of REVELATION, the very same book you call metaphor and allegory.

John saw Christ riding the white horse and coming to stop the anti christ and his armies and to set up His kingdom.

The very next chapter some of those very same disciples saw the CHRIST GLORIFIED at the Mount of Transfiguration.

I asked you a list of historical questions and you could not answer them

  • @THERAPTURECOMES You are willfully ignorant of the fact that Revelation is figurative and speaking of things shortly to come to pass. You are willfully ignorant that John was already IN THE KINGDOM according to Rev. 1:9. The church IS the kingdom.

  • @clearedtoengage

Has the church replaced Israel then?

  • @THERAPTURECOMES Yes. Eph. 2:11ff says that Jews are no different than Gentiles. Israel is not favored by God anymore as we can clearly see.

  • @clearedtoengage

Not only do you fail to understand Revelation but the OT as well. The NT is on the OT concealed and the OT is in the NT revealed.

The Church has not replaced Israel.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES You fail the entire Bible. Israel is no longer favored by God. Read Romans 11. REVELATION IS ABOUT THINGS SHORTLY TO COME TO PASS AND IS SIGNIFIED, NOT LITERAL. Show me verses that prove it is about things that are going to happen in 2,000 years and that it is literal.

  • @clearedtoengage OT written by JEWS, NT written by the apostles, JEWS, Jesus Christ, JEW. Prophecy = Israel became a nation again in ONE DAY = Isaiah 66:7-8 = Israel became a nation again in one day just as prophesied on may 15, 1948. Isaiah 11:12, Ezekiel 36:1,8,24 All of Ezekiel 37 which is followed by 38 & 39 500 BC = NO 300 100 200 AD 500 1000 1400 1700 1800 1900 1948 YES
  • @THERAPTURECOMES Saying that prophecy was unfulfilled from the OT is calling Jesus a weakling. Isa 66:7-8 has nothing to do with the current nation of Israel. You are an evil spirit straight from Satan, saying that Jesus could not fulfill the prophecy He came to fulfill.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES -- The Church is the fulfillment of Israel; Those who have said YES to Jesus as messiah are spritual semites in spiritual Israel.

  • @GraveyardGhost559

Jesus Christ is coming to rule from a literal throne just as the bible states He will. Replacement theology is of satan.

You have skipped over a full thousand yer dispensation under Christ Rule.

Israel becoming a nation again is fulfillment of a very specific prophecy.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES Jesus Christ is not coming to rule from a literal throne, just as the Bible states He wouldn't. John 18:36- MY KINGDOM IS NOT OF THIS WORLD. How long do Christians have to put up with your Jesus-denying ilk?

Christ WILL NOT STEP ON THE EARTH AGAIN. 1 Th. 4:15-17- Jesus will come from the heavens (just the same way as HE LEFT) the dead in Christ will rise, THEN the alive in Christ will rise TOGETHER WITH THE DEAD, AND THEY WILL MEET HIM IN THE AIR.

  • @clearedtoengage

Jesus Christ will come from heaven and His feet will touch the mount of olives and it will split in two Zec 14:4

Two angels tell the apostles that just as they saw Christ leave in such a manner will He RETURN Acts 1:10-12

Matt 24:30 Nations will see Him return in great power and Glory.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES BUZZER. WRONG.

How many times must I tell you? All OT Scripture has been fulfilled. Unless you believe Jesus failed.

Yes, and how did Jesus leave? He disappeared behind a cloud. So He will enter suddenly, just as He left suddenly.

Matt 24:30 is speaking of AD 70. You fail to realize the context. verse 15 talks of the abomination of desolation (Daniel's prophecy). Now read verse 34. "Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place."

  • @clearedtoengage

Show me in history where Christ ruled from the Throne of David Psalm Jer 33:18,21,,, Ezekiel 37:24-25,,, 132:13,17,,, Isaiah 9:7,,,

You show me in history where Christ returned in great power and glory and EVERY EYE SAW HIM?

  • @THERAPTURECOMES You are completely wrong. The Davidic throne is speaking of a spiritual throne, not physical. As the natural man of 1 Cor. 2:14, your mind is stuck in physical when it should be spiritual. Christ did NOT NEED TO RETURN to reign. Did you read Daniel's prophecy that said Jesus would be given the kingdom when He came TO the Ancient of Days, not FROM the Ancient of Days? THE OT PROPHECIES ARE ALL FULFILLED!

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "You have skipped over a full thousand yer dispensation under Christ Rule." The Bible says not one word about any 1,000-year reign on earth. Why in the world would Jesus Christ do that, anyway? Did He fail the first time around?

  • @lllannallll

No,Hebrews REJECTED Him as their messiah Rev 20:4-6 and His kingdom. That kingdom must be realized as prophesied in the OT

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "No,Hebrews REJECTED Him as their messiah Rev 20:4-6" First of all, Rev 20 says not one word about the Jews REJECTING Him. Secondly, has it occurred to you that when a time-frame is contained within a prophecy, the prophesy cannot be postponed as if the Jewish rejection simply never occurred to God? The kingdom - the church - HAS "been realized" - and it was right on time. That "postponement theory" creates infidels - and I don't blame them, either.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES THE KINGDOM IS REALIZED, YOU INFIDEL! You proclaim that the kingdom of God has not come with power? IT CAME ON PENTECOST! Mark 9:1- some of you standing here will NOT TASTE DEATH until the KINGDOM COMES WITH POWER! Either there are some really old people walking around, or the KINGDOM IS HERE!

  • @clearedtoengage

I highly suggest you read Mark 9:1 again and realize it says nothing like what you just said. "Verily I say unto you that some of you will not see death until you SEE the Kingdom of God come with Great power.

Tell me, Who wrote the book of Revelation? Who was taken to heaven and saw Christ and His robes dipped in blood riding a white horse?

JOHN. Prophecy fulfilled. What John saw is yet future.

If the kingdom is here why aren't people living a 100 years?

  • @THERAPTURECOMES SOME of you, not ONE of you. Mark 9:1 says exactly what I said, because my teachings are Biblical and yours are not. Seeing the kingdom of God come with great power is not the same as seeing in a vision the kingdom come with great power. Revelation 1:9- "fellow partaker.. IN THE KINGDOM" If the kingdom was yet future how could he be a PARTAKER IN THE KINGDOM? Christ has ALL authority- over what? You say Christ is reigning at the right hand of God WITHOUT A KINGDOM!

  • @clearedtoengage Are you really this biblicaly illiterate? Christ is returning when His enemies have been made is footstool but then, you wont believe that because you don't believe Revelation is literal.

I mean after all, you misquote a plain verse and distort it to say what you want it to say and ignore the plain reading of it (Mark 1:9)

  • @THERAPTURECOMES Are YOU really this Biblically illiterate (you misspelled Biblically)? The book of Revelation clearly shows that it is not literal (Rev. 1:1), and speaking of things SHORTLY to come to pass (Rev. 1:3). "Sent and SIGNIFIED it"! I distorted nothing. Mark 9:1 says exactly what I said it says. SOME of you means indefinite plural. MORE. THAN. ONE. You are WITHOUT reasoning. Revelation 1:6 "and He has made us to be a kingdom". You lie against God. Repent.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES Daniel's 70 weeks and the entire Old Law and Prophets have been fulfilled by Jesus (Matt. 5:17), unless you believe He did not accomplish what He meant to. The "thousand year reign" is in Revelation, speaking of things SHORTLY TO COME TO PASS (Rev. 1:3) and things SIGNIFIED- not to be taken literally (Rev. 1:1).

  • @clearedtoengage

You show me in history where the anti christ ruled this world and instituted the literal mark of the beast? You show me in history where two witnesses were killed and then three and a half days later were resurrected and the whole world saw it. You show me in history the whole world coming against Israel in attack and where Christ showed up and history the anti christ and his armies.

    Preterist's are deceived.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES You speak as a fool! Is there just one anti-Christ? No (1 John 2:18)! Revelation is NOT LITERAL!!! The mark of the beast, two witnesses, and the whole world attacking Israel is all FIGURATIVE.

    Premillenialists are deceived.

  • @clearedtoengage When the rapture actually happens and you see the anti christ arise out of a world in chaos then you remember your very own words.

When people like you speak is astounding at you lack of KNOWLEDGE (IGNORANCE) of scripture.

I am done speaking with people like you. Prophecy and the fulfillment of future prophecy that will be your teacher!

Know this. if you are not taken in the rapture you will never be indwelt with the Holy Spirit and will have to endure till the end

  • @clearedtoengage

You show me in history where Christ returned and EVERY EYE SAW Him RETURN and has ruled for a full thousand years

  • @THERAPTURECOMES I think you missed the part where Revelation is signifying events shortly to come to pass and is figurative.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES To say that Israel is still favored by God is a cursed lie from the devil himself. Gal. 3:28 Jews and Greeks are NO DIFFERENT. Israel IS NOT FAVORED BY GOD.

Meeting Christ in the air MEANS THERE WILL BE NO 1,000 YEAR REIGN ON EARTH. You are the natural man (1 Cor. 2:14), foolish in your vain speculations. Revelation is FIGURATIVE and prophesying things SHORTLY TO PASS. You are a liar against the Scriptures. Jesus said MY KINGDOM IS NOT OF THIS WORLD!!!!

  • @THERAPTURECOMES Abraham was not justified by his faith ONLY. You add to the Scripture. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit was ADMINISTERED BY CHRIST (Matt 3:11) [He will baptize YOU not ALL], PROMISED TO THE APOSTLES (Acts 1:2-8- limited to the apostles, at Jerusalem, not many days from then, and to empower the apostles as witnesses), RECEIVED BY THE APOSTLES (Acts 2:1-4), RECEIVED BY THE GENTILES (Acts 10-11- purpose not to salvation but to show the Jews the truth [Acts 11:18]).

  • @THERAPTURECOMES The thief on the cross did not require baptism for salvation as he was still under the Old Testament law.

Baptism into Jesus Christ for salvation came into affect 60 days after the resurrection.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES Acts 19:1-5 does not involve BAPTISM of the Holy Spirit, that was always performed BY JESUS not the apostles.

  • Is baptism necessary? No. Is the sinner's prayer biblical? No. I actually think the sinners prayer has become a work. "What must I do to be saved" is often met with "repeat these lines".

  • I encourage Everyone to check out this link. There are so many who distort the word these days...

    youtube.com/watch?v=vAjt9C4XkXM

Watch that one and part 2 (Part 3 if there is one, I cannot remember). It is explained in Mr. Fred Williams videos without distortion.

  • I'll post a link in the comments or you can message me and I'll send it to you. You have to know Who is talking, Who they are talking to, and what they are talking about.

  • Faith is simply the first step to salvation. Repentance, baptism, receipt of the Holy Ghost, and obedience to God's commandments are all necessary as well. Just because faith is necessary does not mean that it is sufficient by itself.

  • @therapturecomes - never by faith ALONE. faith is a part of salvation, but not the only part. and the blood of jesus christ is the power that saves (Hbws 9:11) "But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation." It is recieved through faith Romans 3:25 and that "receiving" is done through baptism, the "answer" 1 ptr 3:21

  • This man is preaching false doctrine. Baptism IS necessary.

  • mark 16

v.(16)Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved......-jesus christ

    believes.............baptized......salvation-jesus christ

    believes.............salvation.....baptism-baptist doctrine

    baptism..............believes...........salvation-catholic doctrine

    .....

  • acts 2:38

  • mark 16:16

  • are u called christian if u dont follow the baptism?

are u christ follower if u dont follow the command of christ about baptism?

  • Wow...Unbelievable that people twist scripture and ignore the WHOLE New Testament!

  • I challenge u To actually preach the bible right when he said he wouldn't loose 1 what does he mean do u think

  • Can u Explain why Jesus was Baptised then and if we should follow his lead then why wouldn't u have to baptised

  • @chrisandstaci At the age of 3o Hebrew men that were going to be priests were baptized with water and Oil. Christ had to do this.

As a Christian I am saved by Grace Eph 2:8 and not of works. Paul said he did not come to baptize with water because it would make the cross of no affect. 1 Cor 1:17

  • @THERAPTURECOMES I don't recall Jesus being baptized in order to become a priest on Earth. He was NOT a priest on earth - not a Levite priest. John did not "baptize with water and oil" .. he immersed in water. Water, pure water, was never sprinkled or poured on anyone for any religious reason. And being "saved by grace" does not negate that you must believe, repent, and be be baptized: in so doing, you do not "merit" salvation - nor earn it - you simply comply with God's plan.

  • @lllannallll Did you know that the bible was written by HEBREWS? Did you know that the apostles were HEBREWS? Did you know that Christ was HEBREW? Did you know that He had to be anointed with oil and water to be a priest in order to fulfill all righteousness to be MESSIAH.

Hebrews 5:1-19 is describing Jesus as The High Priest. Christians will be Priests in the Order of Melchizedek.

Acts 16:30-31,,, John 3:16 says all that needs to be said.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "Did you know that the bible was written by HEBREWS? Did you know that the apostles were HEBREWS?" Yep, the OT was written by Hebrews and the NT by Hebrew Christians. "Did you know that Christ was HEBREW?" Yep, Jesus Christ lived and died a Jew. "Did you know that He had to be anointed with oil and water to be a priest in order to fulfill all righteousness to be MESSIAH." I don't recall that part - u'd need to tell us specifically when that happened.

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "anointed with oil and water to be a priest in order to fulfill all righteousness to be MESSIAH." Seems that THAT is more of an ASSERTION. THAT is what you'd need to PROVE. I don't recall Jesus Christ being a HIGH PRIEST, period, while he walked upon this earth. He wasn't even of a priestly TRIBE. Jesus was ASCENDED at the point of Heb 5, and you're right Acts 2: 38 and Mark 16: 16, coupled with Acts 16: 30-31 and John 3: 16 pretty much contain it.

  • @lllannallll CARM has an article that deals with this titled (Jesus' Three Offices: Prophet, Priest, and King) Google it and enjoy

  • @THERAPTURECOMES "CARM has an article that deals with this titled." CARM is but a smatterer, and I see no proof at all from you that Jesus Christ was EVER a high priest - or a priest - while He walked on this earth. He could NOT be a priest nor sit on David's throne while on this earth. One might THINK, on a subject so important, that you'd find ONE hint or intimation that Jesus Christ was EVER anointed with oil and water and was a priest on earth. An assertion won't help.
