I remember the first time i ever heard this piece i fell in love with it. I remember my mum searching everywhere for a copy of it and when we finally found one we couldnt stop playing it. I think this is one of Chopin's best works but to me it is not really played alot and it so should be.
This music is so beautiful that I hold it like a treasure and only listen to it on special occasions to be sure that I don't take the chance to tire of it. It is like an anthem to me. I think this is by the Chilean pianist can't remember his name but it sounds like his CD. Every time I hear this I feel like I will cry or spin off into some heavenly space.

It's the same for me.
I listen to it only when I'm near a lake, with a nice weather. Try it, it's magical <3

Chopin used to go to country as a child in the summers. That's where he learned about the polish folk music with its ancient modes.
