The '90s era should be expanded: Oprah, Nirvana, Hurricane Andrew, Garth Brooks, cassette tapes, Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump (my favorite movie of all-time), Cindy Crawford, Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, Muhammad Ali at the Atlanta Olympics, the LA earthquake in '94 and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
US HISTORY is nothing!!! only 300 yearsssss hahahahahh unlike we china!!! which has 5000 years of culture and history!!!! NO MATTER HOW GOOD AMERICA IS THERE IS NO WAY IT CAN REPLACE CHINA AND ITS HISTORY
No I haven't thought about it, but it's a good idea. It'll be several months before I can get to it, but I think I might just do that. Thanks for the input.
my life's history meeds more than 6 min...imagine who are they!i am sure that the real american's history (indians, mayas etc) worth more and more than 6 min for sure! :) greece4ever!
I'm not sure why I included it now. It was in my broad category of "Culture", but I think it had something to do with advances in medicine. Alzheimers must be kicking in.
I'm not sure to which photo you refer, so at about 5:15 are pictures of: Dr. Benjamin Spock with kids, American POWs after their release from Vietnam, playwrite Neil Simon, a picture from "The Godfather" movie, and the model "Twiggy".
Hope you liked it. My step-son performed the first two pieces of music and the last one is a little old, but fit for the time period when it begins (and fits the timing of the picture changes).
I found them all on the internet, downloaded them and sized them for MS Moviemaker. It took about a month to think of the categories, save and resize them, and make the movie.
Should've emphasized the negatives more when they occurred, but for the most part great video. Provides a good perspective on how and why things came about in this country.
well i think it's kinda dump, just throwing in pictures without giving any context, but nice work though.

It would be nice of this video had narration for each photo with some explanation of those trying to learn about history.

Have you thought about updating this (putting in pictures of Barack Obama and the events of 2007-2010)?

Actually, I was a number off. What does the anatomy picture that appears before Dr. Spock represent? The dangers of smoking?

Glenn Miller's orchestra had the most popular version. I found the track on an American Music CD and it might be Miller's version.

Move those anti-Bush protesters to about 5:57, because everyone was for the Persian Gulf War.
