I lost a betta fish, 2 hermit crabs, a snake, and a frog. I know how it feels like to lose a pet.

I have a white guinea pig and she has been losing hair in a spot and we think it is a ringworm or something. I am scared to death that something will happen to her. Rest in peace Capy!

It could be either Ringworm, Mites or a Fungal infection. I would recommend taking it to the vets and having a skin scrape done. Please contact me privately if you need any more advice. Emma x

Sadly tonight Capy died. She would have been around 7 months old. She was very upset in her cage and not eatting, she was suffering from diarrhoea. I did the best I could but sadly it was not ment to be. I miss her so much and its only been an hour. Emma x

I am sorry for your loss. If you have the opportunity, find a vet that specializes in small animals. Dont use Pine shavings in their cages. I use carefresh which reduces the chance of respiratory problems. My vet prescribed Smz-Tmp which is a pink oral medication I use when my piggies are having problems. Sadly you have to watch their eating habits like a hawk as they can quickly go downhill. Lastly, piggies love to have a buddy.
