Pole dancing takes amazing Olympic athletic ability, and anyone who doesn't think so, should watch the videos of Jenyne Butterfly, probably the best pole dancer there is. At one time, you know she fell a hundred times too... and picked herself up again, just like this girl. That takes guts to keep taking the falls like that.

Pole is a great fitness alternative and it's very rewarding once you are able to achieve your goal. I find running on a treadmill and lifting weights boring. I'm also an aerial instructor and performer in the circus arts. Pole is just another apparatus in my opinion. I hope you can one day see the beauty and not the stigma.

shift more of ur weight from ur hips to the leg thats nearer the bottom of the pole, therefore ur pulling ur top foot back, bracing more against the pole.. also be aware of what u clean the pole with bc u might slip and fall. a dry rag to clean sweat and marks is best. do not use windex or waxy solvents. also keep ur knees from bending and ur legs locked in place.. this has been a PSA from a random person on youtube :) thank you

shift more of ur weight from ur hips to the leg thats nearer the bottom of the pole, therefore ur pulling ur top foot back, bracing more against the pole.. also be aware of what u clean the pole with bc u might slip and fall. a dry rag to clean sweat and marks is best. do not use windex or waxy solvents. also keep ur knees from bending and ur legs locked in place.. this has been a PSA from a random person on youtube :) thank you
