  • Thats awesome, I'm a bass player though lol, but good video man!

  • Good teacher

  • EXCELLENT JOB!!! Thanks so much for taking the time to post this and show us....Wonderful job!!!! Much appreciated.

  • Excellent lesson! Thank you!

  • Thanks! This really helped a lot!!

  • Great work I learnt how to play this by following your lesson, still not got the strum right for the muted bits. Not sure if you have see muse and edge doing this - pretty cool , search for "edge and muse" on youtube

  • federico ma fare una bella lezione in italiano? ;-)

  • Spectacular, Frederico. Thanks for educating us. You rock, dude!

  • Great lesson. Thanks for sharing!!! Peace, -G

  • nice 1 fredrico good lesson cheer's mate.

  • Nice work!!!

  • Excellente Federico. Fantastico.

  • You fucking rock mate. Big respect and thanks to people like you taking time to educate unaware hobby guitar players out there about how to learn to play these awesome songs by U2. We appreciate this alot.

  • Thanks, I like it pretty much

  • the chor part and strumming part is hard to get :(

  • Ottimo tutorial, un po' troppo riverbero sul suono forse :)

  • puoi dirmi che effetti hai usato?visto k sei italiano?:)

  • ciao mi pare il tc 2290 e un po' di overdrive e riverbero...

  • Thank you! big time saver :)

  • At 51 seconds, how is that a Csus4? A Csus4 is C F G. The fretted notes are C G A D? Can someone explain. Thanks.

  • Yep, it's not Csus4. The intervals for the notes are 1 5 13 9. So C13 (formula = 1 3 5 b7 9(11) 13) is probably best fit. He's calling it sus because there's no 3rd. You could maybe call it a C13 power chord!! lol

  • i have only play blues and some metal and trying to learn this type of strumming for me is pretty hard. i have to say i underestimated the edge big time

  • Thank you ..excellent lesson

  • Thank you. This is actually a bit hard. Sitting here with a Gibson LP and wishes me Stratocaster. :)

  • Thank you very much....saludos de mexico:::

  • Haven't got the equipment for doing videos unfortunately especially as I am a guitar teacher. You're nearly there just a bit of tweaking to do. Just watch your rythum and the positions. But I do disagree with delay there is no wrong or different way. it's right or it's wrong. But you want help with it I can if you'd like.

  • Templar: the delay is right believe me. You don't need to be a guitar teacher to know that Edge uses dotted eight delay, which is what I'm using. one can maybe argue about the depth of the modulation or the number of repeats. as for the positions I agree, they could be different, but I watched an endless number of videos and the positions I used here really look pretty close! take care!

  • Templar. Can you upload your version? Thanks.

  • Sorry Dave have no way of recording me or uploading don't know how. The only way would be to tab it for you or something.

  • Not bad man but your chorus part is pretty wrong and overly complicated. And after that your rythum is not right either and almost everything afterwards sorry. I've been 10 ft away from the Edge when he played this song and it's not what he does.

  • don't need to be sorry mate.

there is no wrong or right..it's just different ways of playing it.show us the real positions if you saw them!!

    take care

  • keep watchin' and remember: U2 can play U2

  • You are bloody good at it man keep it up !!!!

  • Best lesson. Thank you.

  • Te salio padrisima, gracias.

  • At the end you really should put it all together and played through the song. It would be more helpful. Other than that it was a very clear explanation.

  • sweet. tnx for the lesson.

  • thanks!

  • i want to hear a version of the song playd by you. u have the great sound.

  • fantastic ! thanks for the lesson, very well done.

  • Wow! Great, thank you for your explanation!

  • VERY GOOD! U2 FOR EVER

  • a really helpful guitar lesson. You are a good teacher.

    keep on working.

    Greetings from Germany

  • classic quote "and then bono starts singing or whoever is in your band." Nope, Bono ain't in my band! :-) Would be funny if The Edge come on-line and said, He is in mine, thanks for showing me how to play the studio version live. Nice.

  • Don't suppose you could send the tab please?

  • sorry I don't have it:)

  • I never knew the verse was so complicated..I always just play around with the D chord. Yours sounds better tho=) Thanks for the great lessons, your a cool dude! Cheers from California! ~Justin
