  • hate this dash

  • Ok, tiptronic or not, it should never bounce the rev limiter, that just makes it seem shitty...

  • Too much faster manual gearbox Prelude

  • You're going to regret buying an Automatic.

  • @AltronZero not so much. there very close if not the same i drove in both bro.

  • @krazyA916 It was more about the Transmission problem, unless you are one of the few lucky that has a flawless one.

  • @krazyA916 I had one whid auto gearbox and now i have one manual, and its too much faster the manual gearbox and the automatic have too much transmission problems. I prefer so much my actually prelude

Sorry for my bad english, I have it a little forgotten :D

  • I love the preludes, but im pre sure my dads 370Z can beat this..

  • @socc3rman101 Main word "your dads".

  • @sannan15 yea, what about it?

  • Wuahahahahahahahaha!!!! 185HP!!! ahahahahahah!! ROTFL!!!

  • @piersanti69 actually honda didnt come up with varible valve timing.... alfa did. and its debatible if fiat beat them to it. Every company took the technology and added little ways to make it thier own. its just that Honda advertises it as if its making thier car fly to the moon and back. u dont see the last gen Celicas with the 2zz-ge motor with stickers on side of thier car saying VVTL-I!!!!!!. even though its basically the same thing as Vtec. its just the way honda advertises it.

  • @ovechkinfan99 Actually it's not. The big difference between all other companies variable valve timing systems and Honda's, is Lift control. Just take a look at a vtec camshaft. You get a little gain from timing, but being able to switch to a big cam lobe on the fly is far superior technology to other companies versions.

  • @sakislug Nissan have VVL which is very similar - Their valve timing can adjust and also switch to the high lift lobes. There is a slight difference with some VVL engines for instance the SR20VE - the intake and exhaust have different activation points from each other.

  • vtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtechvtech u mad?

  • @piersanti69 u need some mental attention dude! chill pill or a good fat joint coz it looks like u got big anger issues!

  • I BEAT THIS CAR WITH BOLT ONS WITH MY SOHC D16Z6 STOCK !

  • Sorry dude, I got the exact same car. Prelude's suck acceleration wise. Turning wise its kinda fun... but I'd much rather be driving a mustang or corvette.

  • is this converted to manual tranny with automatic gauge clusters?

  • It's stock ? Really fast dude!

  • i heard these cars are fun in the 5 speed model

  • @danielhemi2 very very very fun the auto is a 4cly killer the 5 speed is a v6 some v8s killer

  • Sort of sounds like a standard, even though it's an auto.. Lol. Neat.

  • LAHM! SLOW!

  • @12Zylinder Show youre car ricer!

That Prelude is so good ;)

  • @romanello93 I drive a CL 500 and a 750iL.

The Prelude ist visuell very nice. But the FWD and the small 4 cylinder engine is a NoGo. It is very boring...

  • very very nice it's picking up pretty SLOW

  • @piersanti69 your a fagget, go jump off a building bitch

  • @tearstealer689

as soon as you learn how to spell the word that you tried to call me correctly..

  • @tearstealer689 its spelled fagot :P

  • @tearstealer689 Your application of "your" is errant, you forgot to capitalize the first word of the sentence, you spelled faggot wrong, you alloted a comma where a semicolon should go, you forgot the hindmost punctuation, and your lacking of a comma in between "building" and "bitch" makes it seem like you want piersanti69 to climb on top of a bitch that is building something and jump off of her. Quit talking shit until you can spell words right.

  • Wow this thing is epic slow. You might as well go get an automatic Civic and it's even faster than this.

  • duuuhhh..... if it has 2 peddals, 1 on the left is the brake, 1 on the right is the gas, this would be an auto. if it has 3 peddals, the 1 on the left is the clutch, 1 in the middle is the brake, 1 on the right is the gas. i hope this clears things up 4 u guys.

  • im sure this persons automatic transmission died.

  • maybe he's a paranoid driver and used the auto gauge and modified the digi monitor to go from R-1~5 (like me) and still has a manual :)

  • Its clearly a stick shift guys.. He just has an automatic prelude dash.

  • @RayHuskeh dude its an automatic, i used to have that shit, mine sounded exactly like that .. i now converted to 5spd.

  • @anirban0 hahah some people really pisses me off with their automatic cars trying to shift like a manual go buy yourself a fucking manual car !!! or assume that your ride is automatic !

  • damn i also thought it's manual, but yeah, i have to admit it's automatic gearbox ;o

  • Is it all stock?

  • Its not automat. Its normal Manual

  • lol

  • What Lol?

  • it's clearly an automatic... you can see the number of the gear it's in on the tach...

  • Listen the sounds in gear change

  • kid, it's an automatic (slapstick) you press the gearshift up or down to go up a gear or down a gear, or put it on D so it can shift all by itself. understand?

  • Im not understand dad. For my its gauger with automat, but gearbox is manual.

  • IT'S AN AUTOMATIC. STANDARD PRELUDES 2ND GEAR BARELY GOES UP TO 110KPH. THIS AUTOMATIC'S 2ND GOES UP TO ALMOST 130. THERE IS NO CLUTCH INVOLVED. IT'S CALLED A SLAP STICK. YOU CAN TELL BY THE NUMBER NEXT TO THE TACH. if you don't understand this, you are mentally retarded.

  • Crap-o-matic

The 5speeds are like night and day against these auto slush boxes! I should know I own a 5 speed

  • Comment removed

  • actually ur are not supposed to redline any car lol.... but yea its actually a variable valve timing program that usees a different cam shapt lobe to keep valves open longer (DOHC intake and exhaust valves, SOHC only intake valves) there for taking in more gas and air and letting out more exhaust. and he is shifting wrong because these cars have no power after 6800 rpm really so really hitting fuel cut off has no point.

  • @98Integrapower my 99 h22 prelude has fuel cut at around 8200, I never saw him go over 8? I heard the horrible automatic transmission shifting slowly but that's it. 6800rpm? Keep making up numbers and fuel cut offs and have a good day sir.

  • these automatics are so gutless i race one iwth my 5g spd and it was like day and night..... i won by a fuckin tour bus from a roller from 50 kmph to about 175

  • preludes come with the dual sifter box. my buddies prelude has it aswell. the car has no clutch, its just going into the manual shift, you change the gears whenever you want, and you do get more power out of it. when your middle aged, or retiring from work, then you slow down by going to automatic lol.

  • no u actually dont get anymore power out of it lol. it still milks the same 190 or 195 horsepower depnding on the year. It just makes it feel more sporty and because auto trannys are not as responsive it lets u do it on your own. They still hit vtec at 5400 rpm lol. it makes no difference to have it "sport" shift lol

  • dam this can surely beat my ford tempo

  • sound like a stick shift

  • red line shifting sounds good.

  • yeesssss...even with 148XXX milesss.... honda ftw

  • That is a kilometer an hr cluster not mph so he has 148,xxx km

  • wtf? are you's even tawking about

  • It's called "Sequential Sport" shift NOT "Tiptronic". Audi is the one that used "Tiptronic".

  • i dont consider it to be a real manual, unless its got a manual clutch,

just my opinion, but i love to be able to skip gears when changing, and drop the clutch for a good burnout

probably why that rental car didnt last long

  • i dont think it matters though both the same idea if im not mistaken

  • They are all the same peices of junk. Manual FTW

  • jesus, keep redline shifting and you won't have a car anymore. but either way, good display of vtec and the prelude.

  • A couger can't race. period. Fords shit on the side brands aren't worth a thing.

  • could take some time off if u learned how to shift.. it shouldnt be a problem after you blow a huge hole in that extremely light hollow aluminum block u got there.. v tech power!!!! rite on man

  • Funny. lol. Except the fact that those H22A engines are bullet proof and made for red lining.

    VTEC power?! Too rite!!!

  • well when u get a powershift newb^^^ then you need a bulled proof engine

  • unless you drive a ferrari or Lambo where they come manual .

or you have the money to chirp about an automatic,

look into it. there are MANY fast non "newb" cars that are auto. your are ignorant about cars

  • whats really funny is he cant shift an auto matic

  • eww auto!

  • Around a track I highly doubt it. Those little ludes were built for track racing

  • you dont really know what your talking about do you????

this is a tiptronic Honda Prelude

there fore it has 4 gears instead of 5 or 6.

    and about your

    KILLER COUGAR!

im sorry but it wouldnt stand a chance on a track or on the straigt road.

    that'll be the day, A "V6" ( which means nothing ) cougar racing a Vtec 2.2 L prelude.

  • this is a 97 prelude model and 185hp. thanks ;)

  • @yamaz323 195 hp.

  • @yamaz323 actually its 195hp for manual and 190hp for semi auto.

  • what year model prelude is this and whats the power.. nice run..
