  • @VALCANOCANDO this may not help but i have a olympus camera and mine doesnt either record audio but when i upload it to my computer and play it i hear what i recorded...

  • @VALCANOCANDO there is... you just cant here it if you watch it from camera. plug it in your TV and here it properly

  • and if it doesnt work ill return it and buy chain saw with less they amount i got it frum, sorry for bad spelling, but im being straight up... ill record my event tomorrow and see what happens if i catcvh a fish and if it doesnt leek, if it does ill get my money back i have the recite anyways yall have a good morning or what ever your having then ill post my other review tomorrow , bye and ill finish uploading my videos frum the last 7 hours lol,

  • omg yours leaked lol omg the dude at the \"London Drugs " store here weree i am living on the island of Canada told me many positive things about it i just recorded some shit about 5 hours ago anywas, tomorrrow ill fiond out if itswater prooof and ill take it under water lol, minesays it can go under 33 ft, and it has 12 mega pixles .... lol over 500 bucks ya'lll tomorrow ill test it out and see if i catch a fish because i love fishing

  • I pretty much bought this camera for its underwater capabilities without having to get a bulky housing. I brought it to kaua'i and as soon as the camera went 3 ft underwater it was flooded. If you are thinking about getting it i suggest you just buy a cheaper camera and deal with the housing. check cnet and see how many people had this problem

  • These things leak over time - mine did. They are a gimmick. It's unheard of to change the gaskets every damn year - where do you get the gaskets from and who will change them for you and how much does all this cost? What a bunch of bullshit. Gaskets on other waterproof things like watches can last 5 to 10 years of water use.

It's a gimmick for techno-geeks that will use it 5 or 10 times under water and then chuck it in the garbage! Warranty won't help cause they blame you for the damage.

  • Canon Powershot D10 alright!!!!

    its new...check it..

i forgot the url,,,just check it,,u might like it.

  • Leaks like a sieve! Terrible warranty service. Run away.

  • what do you mean it leaks? i just bought one yesterday, i tested it out in the pool seemed fine, i hope it stays that way...it says in the manual that you should replace the seals annually to avoid damage. shiiiit i paid 500 for it i hope it doesnt leak!!!!!!!!!!

  • We use our in the pool and on the river to film kayaking. They are know to leak and I did'nt know it when I bought mine. Cover the battery compartment and fire wire cover with duct tape and when you store it take the battery out and leave the doors open. The water seems to be a cumulative affect over a few days of continuous use.

  • it will leak we have this camera and its 2 years old we never changed the seals cause its 2 years old screw that if i am gonna change the seals. but on our last trip to hawaii the crapy thing leaked wrecked our camera and pictures and left us with no camera for the rest of our trip.

i will fail on you it seems it has on everyone.

  • How much does it cost?? Does it come in any other colors??

  • I got mine for about 300 bucks on amazon they have it in black, pink and green but they are more expensive. You need a 2GB+ memory card to take longer videos

  • some models cost around $300 in AUS but you can get it way cheaper and no it dosnt come in any other colors ... but it is pretty hard to buy 1 in a shop because the've upgraded the model and stop making this model so it would be easier and better 2 buy it off the internet

  • can you use the l.e.d light during video

  • i just got this one for a steal of a deal...its so sick...i heard surf movies

  • does the original battery work at -10 degrees????

  • FYI If you plan on using this for shooting video the microphone makes a loud popping noise. It also only shoots up to a half hour and 10 seconds on high video quality. Its great for taking photos though. I would save your money and buy the older version (770sw) on ebay for half the price. The 770sw does not have a microphone fault or a video length limit.

  • i broke my old camera (watch my video)

so i need a WATERPROOF and CRUSHPROOF camera

and tthe only colorful and nice one i found was this one

at best buy they have green ones for 379.99$

  • it's half the price at costco. i got the 1050 for $180. this one here was $10 more...but what in the world would i need crush proof for? i got it mainly for the shock proof since i got kids

  • I'm gonna buy it this sunday, I don't want the 850 because I think the 1030 looks better :P

The 850 looks like a throw away camera haha

  • best camera ive ever owned, i say better then my slr

  • Nice video quality with the 2GB xD High Speed Card. I got it at $400 in St. Maarten...

  • how long can you rec videos on high quality?

and do you like the camera is it worth it ?

  • I got the 2GB-xD-HS(high speed) , and have more than 18 minutes of VGA/30fps = High Quality.... , P.D. more than one hour 25 minutes in QVGA/15fps

  • I got the 850 :D

  • Just got this camera.

    Simply Awesome!!

    I love it!

  • I have it ;p

  • Nice vid man....keep doin wat ur doin!!!

  • I SOO WANNA get this so i dnt have to risk my SLR at the beach , but only problem with the olumpus waterproof cameras is that THERE EXPENSIVE

  • ooh yeah.......

  • You said it can withstand 220lbs water pressure, this is incorrect. It is crushproof under 220lbs of weight, not water pressure. In fact if you took it down underwater far enough to exert 220lbs of water pressure, you would be much much deeper than the 33 feet it is capable of. Thanks for review but maybe you should add a note as not to mislead people.

  • Damn you beat me to it. I was going to say that.

But regardless of the error that's one hell of a tough camera.
