it's reverse delay. gotta be hard to make it sound right when even you as a player aren't hearing something your fingers are producing.

If what you're referring to is when then guitar and audio seem to go out of sync, its not so! Guthrie is using a delay effect, so what he plays comes out about a second later. He uses the same effect in the original Ner Ner video recorded at a clinic. I implore to check it out!
