the proper way to shoot a pistol is both arms straight out, elbows locked, then use the push pull method, push a little with the right while pulling a little with the left

cpruhe, that's the proper way for you, dude. although i'm not one of 'em; a few thousand shooters would say that they prefer the weaver stance. and, a hell of a lot of 'em shoot better than i do with that stance, so more power to 'em.

and i would tell YOU that the (isosoles stance) "push/pull" is properly achieved via CORRECT HAND PLACEMENT ON THE FIREARM (provided the pistol you're using is the CORRECT SIZE for your hands); not by any actual pushing or pulling of either hand.

That two handed grip looks pretty good actually, may need to tighten up a bit. The safety habits leave something to be desired though.
