I have always had a burden for those in prison here in US. But especially a burden for those being tortured overseas. Why? First beacause the bible tells us to especially help those in the household of faith. I even had many dreams of Christians suffering overseas...God drawing us,warning us... don't forget to pray for our brothers and sisters everywhere around the world especially those in countries where being a disciple of Christ is forbidden or looked down on. If it were a "forced" conversion to begin with, would they stand in the face of death defiantly? If they caved once, why would they not cave again? I believe that we will go through tribulation as the Israelites went through the plagues. We will go through the last 7 plagues. Just as the Israelites had the blood of the lamb over their doors- we will have the blood of Jesus over the doors of our hearts. We will be protected. The plagues cannot touch us. I have the fear of not being able to go through having boiling water poured down my throat. The pain will be unimaginable BUT, Peter denied Jesus 3 times when the Holy spirit was not within him. When Jesus left the helper (Holy Sprit) came down to earth. When Peter was given the Holy Spirit, he proudly proclaimed Jesus. He died for Jesus name. hmmm...i wonder under what circumstances these people became christians to begin with. well i cant be sure but id bet that not every spiritual transition was made peacefully.
world-wide colonialism in the name of conversion to christianity certainly is not peaceful.
history shows that christianity is just as violent as any other religious system.

Speculations and assumptions, but regardless of how they became Christian, does it warrant this persecution? I believe it says a lot for the testimony of these people. If it were a "forced" conversion to begin with, would they stand in the face of death defiantly? If they caved once, why would they not cave again? The facts show a sincere renewing of heart and soul. These people know Christ, and this knowledge they are willing to take to the grave.

oh i completely agree. i am speculating and assuming and nothing warrants this persecution.
however to me, there is something inherently wrong with any people claiming a moral superiority over another people solely on the basis of their religion. and threatening them with an imaginary revenge in the form of never ending suffering unless they convert.
and just because you are willing to die for something, it does not make it truth.

you would surely defend the rights and dignity of an african-american christian who was being forced to renouce christ for another religion.

the fear of hell as an instrument of conversion is not only a title of a book, but is a serious topic of relgious history.
and i dont know what you mean by true christianity and i see no evidence of anyone who is truly christlike.
am i suppossed to believe that people who convert to religions(christianity)always do so because they feel jesus(whatever profit) in their hearts?

"Christianity" is not a religion, but a way of life.
Christ is the foundation of our faith; man is the foundation of religion. Unless man makes God's Word the foundation of the religion, the religion becomes false and an abomination in the eyes of God. Holy Scriptures repeatedly warns us about not following the traditions of men. Our Reformation forefathers were instructed to take a reed like unto a rod. Holy Canon of Scriptures was to be the anchor point for Church worship and doctrine.

I believe that we will go through tribulation as the Israelites went through the plagues. We will go through the last 7 plagues. Just as the Israelites had the blood of the lamb over their doors- we will have the blood of Jesus over the doors of our hearts. We will be protected. The plagues cannot touch us. After the plagues- Jesus comes to take those that are asleep and those that are still living at the time to reign with Him for 1000yrs

The plagues cannot touch us, but the bible does say in Rev. 13:7 the dragon wages war against the saints and overcomes them. I don't think all of us will be killed but many will. Whatever life is taken by the enemy Jesus will repay 10 fold. You are right we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.

Those who believe the Church will be raptured before tribulation need to watch this video over and over again until it sinks in. These people, just like the 10 million under pagan Rome and another 50,000 under papal Rome, sealed their testimony to Christ in blood. God give us such strength when our faith is tested.

If there comes a time for persecution in this country-My family would turn me in. They are against me because I walked away from the Catholic Church

amen bibleortraditions. thanks for sending this one. so many ar decieved into complacency while they believe a lie. what's worse is those rature (left behind fiction book believers) are also the ones spending time teaching ostara egg time and satan-clause trees are ok in christian homes. i doubt if they'll be 'raptured' while decorating those. if you're waiting on a rapture, you're not rapture ready.
