I will have to agree with the others in asking what the point of this negative review was.
This entire review is a relative argument based on your narrative experience. To this effect, some say: "Moby-Dick and Siddhartha are just plain boring books and are repetitive. I don't get it's relevance." They hold relevance in their execution.
the main reason i do reviews of old films is that living in the UK we get new releases like few months after the US, so i thought in reviewing old movies not just new ones it would give me an "edge" as it were. In direct relation to A Bout De Souffle, is purely because i saw it that day in my film class (i had seen it before). As far as the negative stuff, well i just didnt enjoy it, if i had i would of done a poss. review.
I see. I don't really think it's beneficial though. If you were giving a positive review then at least you're defending something and thus pointing out all the reasons for someone to watch it (attracting newer people who haven't seen it), but if you're giving a negative review of a film that's 50 years old, I don't feel like you're really going to contribute anything, to be honest.
I had to watch this film in Foreign Films class, and I hated it SO F*CKING MUCH!!!!

No offence, but is there really any purpose, nearly 50 years after its release, in posting a negative review of this film?
