@kjsongbird Buuut, it's not. It's about God. This song is soley based off of 1 Corinthians 13. It could be about people, but the fact is that it's not. That's like saying "I'm a Little Teapot" is really about a man struggling to survive in a hurricane. Tell Him is about coming to the Lord and letting him know need him, and he will come to you. It almost makes no sense at all for it to be about another person.

I told my best friend I loved him in 8th grade after I'd liked him since 3rd grade. Even though he had a girlfriend at the time, he didn't push me away or get mad. He acted like a real gentleman about it, and if a guy does try to push you away for loving him, he has issues.

They're your friend for a reason, because they like you (at least as a friend). It shouldn't be threatening to tell your friends anything.
