Thanks for the upload. I never really could get into NASCAR (and even less so into Country music), but I heard part of this song on a documentary on Speed about Cale Yarborough, and wanted to hear the rest of it ever since.
@Pavlosio Thanks.I won a statewide songwriting contest with this one in the 90's. They called it American Traditional.I hope you listen to some of my other stuff. Most of it is kind of country.
Thank you so much. The Legend song is the cornerstone that the new CD is built on. It's called racers and Chasers. One of the songs is the King and the Silver fox. We should have a video of that one soon.
Thanks for the kind words. I'll have a new CD out before March with ALL racing songs.Cale is a good friend.I've met so many people because of the song, and learned so much about the history of the sport, I feel there are other stories to be told. Thanks again. Jay
Blended harmony and fast fingered picking along with that poignant harmonia make you want to tap your toes or maybe just tap a little more on the accelerator. Hope to hear more from you!
Thank you very much for the kind words.Yhat sure makes me feel good. As a matter of fact we're trying to put some live songs on soon. we have some recorded with fingericking the guitar, but we're having trouble downloading them. We'll be up and running soon. Thanks again

1976, 1977, and 1978. Three championships in a row. One tough driver is what Cale was, I'd go back in time just to see him race.

I would love to meet Cale some day. His autobiography is a great read. Seeing him appear at the NASCAR banquet last week was great.
Will you be putting your new sons on youtube, or where could I hear it?
