C'mon. Calling a whole organizationa like Hmong Diaspora Leadership Council a republican supporting organization is like saying all people of color are on the welfare system. Sheesh. @excitemee Actually, it's not like saying all people of color are on the welfare system. Go look up the public document of the Hmong Diaspora Leadership Council, which specifically listed all the "leaders" and their direct political affiliations and associations. The fact is, they're ALL GVP political crony organizations, NONE that isn't! These are not dumb hate games, this is an example of our community being bamboozled by the usual,outdated, divisive, top-down, OG politics of yesterday.

this speech is so bogus and over the top. fact: the president of the hmong diaspora leadership council, a de facto hmong republican organization (chaired by ly teng, well known, long time hmong republican in mn...and organized by general vang pao, the national hmong republican number 1) is now a "hmong leader" of a progressive organization like takeaction mn? the hmong community isn't this naive! no more hoodwinking our community, not anymore. last election cycle, they were for mccain and norm!

To gain respect from American politicians or government officials, you must first master the English language and communicate very effectively. This is a prime example of what I am talking about. I am sure the host tried his best and yet he still sounds extremely ignorant in the English language. We demand respect from governmaent officials but yet we are unable to have proper representation to convey our messages properly. We don't want to be portray as an ignorant goup on the community.
