  • good god man. is there anything you DON'T know how to do? #$%$ you're awesome Brandon!

  • aShell.Run "%SYSTEMROOT%\system32\net.exe stop AppleMobileDevice",0, True

  • In a future video, do you think you could cover monitoring a directory for file changes? I can see so many uses for this (like a backup script that will send new files to a server, a script that could send you an email/text when a download is finished, or a script that could sort files into different folders based on their file type).

  • didn`t u use to be in lockergnome?

  • vbscript is dead

  • @damnhereiam VBScript is used in login scripts in lots of organizations. It is Far from dead, but thanks for trolling your contribution was a waste of time, thankfully we didn't ask you for your opinion.

What's the expression? Opinions are like Rectums, especially the ones you give.

  • @BlackwaterOpsDotCom "we"? how many idiots hiding inside you. You enabled comments and you dont ask for opinions. Smartest among cretins.

  • so much more useful as opposed to hello world, lol

  • This is really handy especially on my old and slow PC. thank you!

  • @HadimusRex Its Notepad++, you can see it if you watch the video in fullscreen at an HD resolution.

  • What text editor are you using?

  • @HadimusRex notepad++ and I don't normally run in blackboard mode, but this was better for video.

  • @BlackwaterOpsDotCom hey does it have to be in Notepad++ or can it be in Notepad???

  • @yumpaa You can use any text editor you like. I just use Notepad++ because it highlights the code well, with different colors based on what I am doing.

  • @BlackwaterOpsDotCom ok thanks

  • Can you have a more advanced series where instead of giving tutorials you speak about clever solutions to problems and over stuff like that. Of course you have to see if it is worth doing because I don't know how advanced your audience is.

  • too bad one of them wasn't "False" then could have used a then, if, else statement xD

  • @onomatopoeia162003 These weren't "Cases" True sets a boolean flag for "Wait for completion" as in "wait for completion = true" False would mean do everything really fast. Which then doesn't actually shut down the service in this example, because windows can't keep up.

  • This reminds me of the AMD Fusion utility. It's pretty neat how easy this is to do it all yourself, although it doesn't have as nice of interface. Great instructional video!

  • @kylepolansky Baby steps, I'm trying to break the code in to small chunks people can understand if I do all the interface / UI stuff there is too much to "learn" in one video.

  • @TDmillerproduction works for me

  • the link does not work

  • This is awesome! Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.
