...this is a continuation from the comments below....The drummer is Jamie Papish. He plays many styles of Middle Eastern and Latin drums and likes to invent his own style too. He lives in the small village of Topanga. He plays the drums in 4 bands. One of the bands (The Yuval Ron Ensemble) travels around the world giving concerts. Jamie has been studying & playing drums for about 13 years. He loves all music from the Middle East & from Eastern Europe.

.....this is a continuation from the comment below......The accordion player, Michael Lawson lives in the state of Washington and has been in two bands in the last 25 years: "Nishava" and "Balkan Cabaret" Many people in the USA love dancing to music from other countries. We believe it brings the people in the world closer together in a peaceful way. Maybe we will all get to dance together, hand in hand, some day soon!

Thank you for writing from Bulgaria! This is taking place in USA. In the state of California, in the county of Los Angeles, in the little village of Topanga. The dancers are all native Californians, none of them have any Bulgarian heritage, as far as we know. The accordion player is Michael Lawson. He has been playing Bulgarian music and other Eastern European music for over 35 years. He has traveled to Bulgaria several times to study from some of the best accordion players there.
