this is a stupid review. No detail, no discussion of the storage. No mention of the braking system, maintainance. They said big wheel, but didn't mention that they are 16 inch... what a stupid company. geesh
Honda refused to honor the warranty on a 7 week old Scooter. My Honda Elite 110 bought brand new stoped working and Honda motorcycle Div. 1-866-784-1870 refused to repair the scooter. Buyer Beware! See my YouTube Videos!
A 150cc maybe freeway legal in California but I wouldn't recommend it. That's not what a 150cc is made for. To be traveling on the freeway, it's best to have at least 250cc's or more......
@sprigganisthebest Let me know how it rides on the highway. My Honda dealer tried to sell it based on using it on the interstate just like in the ad...although the ad was careful to say "bigger roads" and not interstate. I think you will find it is too small for the interstate. You need a 250 or larger for interstates. Sh150 is still a good scooter though, and yes, it is overpriced. I could have bought one for $3600 too, but then they wanted to add sales tax and licensing.
just bought mine today... i must say that everything these guys said is true... also im 6'4 and 350lbs and this thing moves... i went from 0-50 in about 7 seconds...
Aleon 1018, in states with bad roads (i.e., wide and deep ruts, potholes) the Sh150i offers a marginal safety advantage over the stylish, less costly PCX, with it's taller and slightly fatter tires. Worth the extra $1,000 for the Sh150i? Here on Louisiana's horrible roads, perhaps so! I basically agree with you about the PCX, though. Given current gas prices here in the U.S., the PCX ought to be outselling the pricer Sh150i.
Many people are too big or legs too long for some smaller scooters and it looks dumb with their knees sticking out.. The larger diameter wheels is also better looking. But this scooter here is just way too high in cost brand new. The PCX is a better looking scooter at $3499.00 or 1,000 less, but they DO really need to make a 150 available, even if it does lose a few mpg
Just bought a barely used Honda Sh150i. It's a blast so far. Only blemish I can find is the rear drum. Wonder if scooty-savy Europe rates a rear disc? Anyone?
Nice presentation. I am a SYM HD 125 owner and have put 30k touring miles on it in less than 2 years. Getting parts for SYM in the USA is getting increasingly difficult.
Eventually, I'll be in the market for a scooter that I can get parts for. Honda would be my first choice. I have looked at them, the SYMs have some nice body details (brake levers on the SYM are better quality) And the SYM gas cap in NOT under the seat which is a huge plus. Spilling fuel happens---honda gas cap under seat.
@phoozchic Here in the Philippines I have a Mio 115cc, the tank is under the seat as are all here, fill it yourself and get every drop of fuel-when I get back to Canada I want a scooter-150cc
lots of bikes like that (suzuki, kawasaki, yamaha, honda etc) in asian countries much much cheaper less than $2,000 brand new....wondering why only now they are introducing that to us market...maybe americans have lots of money to spend in the past and they dont care for cheap bikes like that
KYMCO & SYM offer nearly the same quality at much lower prices. But their dealer network is so small and scattered. I won't rule out a used SH150i in the near future. I still miss the Reflex, though!

how old do you need to be to drive it in New Brunswick

I can think of 3 reasons not to buy this: 1) It's overpriced. 2) It is over-priced and 3) it is over priced.
