Where were the different camera locations? Does he wipe out in the first clip, and then the second shows him straightening out, but from a different angle? That's what it looks like.
I thought he did pretty damn good, if a bit heavy on the gas! But that's how you win races, as long as you can keep it moving. If he was BAD driver, he would have wrecked that shit. It's either that or he was really lucky.
