(그리고 당연히 그 K-Pop 아이돌 좋아하는 외국인들이 송창식님 영상을 찾아보진 않겠죠.) 다만 예전 가수들의 명곡 영상인데... 불후의 명곡2에서 아이돌이 부른 걸 보고는 찾아와서는 Thumbs up if you're here because of Jonghyun. (샤이니 종현이 부른 걸 보고 찾아왔으면 추천해주세요) 이라든지 그게 좀 거슬리기는 합니다
@icylakepaxphile I think it's nostalgia for the past that makes many people comment in Korean, but there's nothing wrong with expressing appreciation for beauty in English. Especially since Youtube is accessible all over the world, if a non-korean speaking person finds this video, it would be nice for him/her to read comments he/she can understand about the video and the singer.
@lechampiones i respect your mom's opinion & your honoring her, but i would respectfully disagree. when i comment on youtube i'm thinking it may be seen by everyone all over the world, and not just read by koreans.i often click on videos that are in foreign languages on youtube because we are here to see something other than our own culture - the whole world becomes one on youtube in my humble opinion, and when i find the odd english comment on those videos i feel more welcome.
@lechampiones also, there are many half koreans or koreans born overseas whose command of the korean language is not very good. perhaps they can read a little korean alphabet but not much more. i think it's false assumption to think that one must speak korean in order to love korea. if those koreans who live in russia or spain came on this channel and wrote in russian or spain about how much they love this song, i would find it to be extremely beautiful and touching.

However, the ratio of korean and english comments here does not reflect truly of the audiences of this video.if you see american, chinese, arab or japanese videos the comments are 9/10 in their language. it seems that koreans are unique in that way... there is a reason why google made a translation add-on.
@lechampiones ? you think Korean videos have more english comments? perhaps it's because of the success of K-pop as well as the success of korean dramas due to hallyu, which are watched world wide... btw have you ever tried to use translation add-ons? they seriously suck.. ^.^ ((btw i'm not at all advocating not writing in korean.. i simply think that we should not be prejudiced against those who find it easier to type in other languages))

아 여기는 영어로 코멘트 쓰는 한국분들 없군요. ^^ 이런 극단적으로 아름다운 한국어 가사를 들으면 자연스레 한국어로 말이 나오는 듯...

@earthypig 노스탈지아라기 보단... 엄마말대로는 한국사람끼리 영어하는것보다 꼴불견이 없다고 하셔서 저도 영어가 더 편하지만 한국비디오, 특히 제목이 한글로 되어있는 비디오에 댓글을 남길때는 한글로 남깁니다.
