  • something about the way you open your mouths when you sing, it loses the sweetness of the words, like its too operatic or something?

  • Whooaaa you guys need to watch your sopranos. all the high notes were flat!

  • Perhaps a few notes are flat.

  • I think its just a case of lifting your notes. I know you cant really smile but you still have to lift the notes. Also, it could just be the playback, no one sounds better on tape then live. :)

  • Yes, I agree that our notes were too heavy at times . Thank you for your input!

  • My choir got kicked out of some Russian establishment for testing their acoustics with this song :)

  • Hey great version of Frobisher Bay.

I'm honoured that you performed my song.

    James Gordon

  • Thank you!

  • This is my favorite alto part I have ever sang before.

  • Nicely done! The tuning was pretty good. You nailed the line "the seas were rough". You may want to watch your tempo, though. It sped up in places where it really didn't need to be faster. Actually, in general this song is supposed to be sung a lot slower, because at fast tempos it becomes almost dancelike. Also, try putting more into your crescendos, and hush a LOT on the line, "frozen in this lonely grave".

    I've sung this one a lot. ;)

But the blend here is excellent, you have a great sound.

  • which women's chorus is this? I ve sung it a couple of times you guys stay in tune really well congrats i know its hard lol

  • This is the combined womens choir. Trebleaires and Freshaires of 2005-2006.

  • sweet you guys are from missouri... did you guys compete at any national competitions ? like in chicago? i would've competed against you as we went down that year. I sing in ontario.

  • That year we went to New York. We went to Chicago in 2007 for the Heritage Festival.

  • beautiful!

  • It's Frobisher Bay
