The Civic Si is made in hondas canadian plant. The motor for the civic si, the K20Z3 is produced in japan, along with almost all of there motors. NOW the regular civic (dx, lx, ex) is made in the US... Hope this cleared things up for you. And by the way the frame is far from cheap...

when u placed such a big sway bar to your car, u'll strain the other parts of the chassis and may weakened it in the long run. Not a good idea!

Get subframes kit (i think thats wat they call it) on the car. supports the chassis further and reduce strain

yeah your totally right bro, umm password:jdm has these, you can find cheaper ones but they are called subframe reinforcement braces. they prevent the tearing of subframe points and enlarge contact to for the bolts. its a big plus allaround, increase weight but not by much

Not if you install parts from your car dealership. In my case I install a sway bar from TRD to improve handling corner...Part from Toyota and install to a Toyota NOT AFTER MARKET!

I here that is a common problem with after market sway bars on the 06+ civics. (assuming you have after market sway bars) Although racing pushes a car to the limit too.
