  • What a beautiful girl oh my god!

  • FOCK!!!! Is she cute or what!!!!

  • The Ronettes inspired and continue to inspire alot of girls/women to to this day as they showed the way to do- "it" right ..on stage! ;-)

  • These girls knew what was going on ... Way way ahead of their time.. Check out the hair and the shake.. Simply the best

  • I Love You Veronica, Be My Baby.

  • Has there ever been 3 more beautiful girls in one frame?

  • ^^-

  • im in love. god....ahhhhhh.....im in love.

  • @seeker6087 love hurts

  • @Dosalt thats true.

  • What a Beaty of a Girl!

  • Cool!

  • Que tonto chupar pollas,Tonto!

  • como nadie habla español ME GUSTA CHUPAR POLLAS

  • @33noeliaartes no seas cochino guey jajajaja

  • @33noeliaartes pos si te gusta chupar pollas ya sabes, buscame en facebook igual t gusta la mia jajajaja

  • me encantaaaaaaaa

  • every time i watch this video what they do at 2:00 gets me. i remember girls dancing the jerk like that with me and me hoping for a slow dance too.

  • Be my little baby ♥_____________♥

  • They were every teenage boys wet dream.

  • Amazing ;)

  • Ronnie was beautiful...they all were. Poor Ronnie was locked away in Phil Spector's mansion afterwards, was not even allowed to wear shoes, because he knew she would leave and not come back. She left one day barefoot.

  • @whatanightmare1

And still goes thru life as Ronnie Spector. That should tell you all you need to know.

  • Ronnie was so hot then. But then she turned into a freak like Michael Jackson...

  • @SmashBrosFan19 wow someone has issues

  • Great♪( ´θ`)ノ~

  • its the way they could move their hips especially ronnie, if you watch her eyes she knows shes got the audiance in her hands to manipulate them as much as she wants and knows they will scream for more, the best thing was the way it always looks as if they are singing to only you and noone else, thats class that pure unadulterated seduction of any male watching their perfomance, sex on legs the best there was .

  • @gladiator4457 So right ..great observation no female entertainers past the mid sixties have that quality of singing at the male in the audience. why? prob cause these girls loved men in the ol schoolway. after all that nasty part of womans lib soaked in, girls no longer had that same reverance of men, as it was brainwashed out of them . end result ...it made them unhappy and confused and us the same. true fact.it was the devils work.lol

  • I've been around since the beginning of the Rock and Roll era and it's true that Elvis is "The King of Rock and Roll". He provided "the vehicle" that allowed Rock to be acceptable to MAINSTREAM America. Even though he was censored early on,he was allowed into the living rooms of America whereas, the real "innovators" such as Richard Pennington ("Little Richard") were considered too risque,he did "invent" Rock and Roll and has never been given the proper recognition for it so far, from I can see.

  • SEE,there REALLY was a time when EVERYONE wasn't MORBIDLY obese !

  • Beautiful Estelle & Nedra singing and coming down the ramp is truly A

unforgetable moment in Rock and Roll History. Estelle you have so many fans Godbless you and your family.

  • Veronica Bennet is RONNIE SPECTOR

  • RIP Estelle Bennet of the Ronnettes

  • Only women can stand in one place and move like that.

  • she is older than me , but I would be her baby forver any time !!!!!!!!!

  • 5 dislikes, who could dislike this song, it's classic and a great song

  • Happy Birthday Ronnie!

  • Wonderful video and song!

  • Doc--I watch this vid time after time and lament to loss of the peace we enjoyed in the USA for the prior 18 years when this song emerged in 1963. But then things changed....Too bad Phil went off the deep end. He sure knew how to write them hits we all would enjoy for the ages.

  • why why why record companies mess up groups like our ronetts fans were efficient companies fail to see value of these types of acts, they played their hearts they were gorgeous veronica had the voice and estelle and nadea the harmony the three manipulated the audiance in such a sexy way the girls had them eating out of their handsi would have easily got me to marry all three if i could of do you think im love sick at my age of 62. i would jike to write to them both but dont know how to

  • im 62yrs old these girls were beyond their time, there will never ever be a girl group to beat them, beautiful, sexy, brilliant entertainers who put fans first, their music, voices and harmony were unquestionable. IT was,has and will always be a priveledge to have seen them perform heard their music and bought their records and discs.I fell in love with all three from an early age, and still am, i cried when estelle died,am glad ronnie and nedra are happy, time passes, cravings of a silly old man

  • I wonder id Estelle ever got jealous of Ronnie

  • so cute at 21...and even now in her late 60s, still gorgeous.

  • 5 have never been a baby :( x

  • I can understand why " Crazy Phil "would never let her leave the house, If I was married to Ronnie,I would never let her out of bed!

  • Fell madly in 'lust' with Ronnie the first time I saw her on TV.

Poor girl was a mess at the end...so sad.

  • That poor girl married Phil Spector, lets give her a moment of silence please!

  • Is that Darlene Love singing ??

  • i would say that ronni would have to be one of the classyiest babes that ever walked

  • wuauuuuuuu que cancion!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Viva youtube! How good is this this? Thanks for sharing!

  • I love it!!!!! i would have been there in the audience! this is timeless..

  • Agree with you whiskyroxy

  • シュープリムス登場の少し前のビッグ・ヒット曲でした。懐かしい。

  • la meilleure chanson de la b.o de dirty dancing ; toute une epoque !

  • Good god those hip shakes and this music are quantum leaps sexier and far more entertaining than today's pop tramps who dress like whores, screech out some awful song, and pretend to hump the stage

  • @whisky2roxy Well said, fantastic comment thats states the sheer truth. They had more in their little fingers than todays pop tramps put together have!

  • @whisky2roxy Couldn't agree more, Ronnie was as sexy as she was talented

  • @whisky2roxy Haha... spot on observation... There is nothing clever about "hanging it all out"... Granted, popsluts nowadays make more money, but, back in those days, people were sexy whilst being DRESSED... something not many people nowadays manage to achieve... and, as Neil Tenant once said: "WHen you don't sell sex, you have to make good records"... so...

  • @whisky2roxy Amen

  • Why in the world can't recording industry executives see that? Just like you said they put out that garbage and get one hit wonders that no one remembers 5 years later.

  • did ya know Keith Richards was involved with Ronnie Bennett

  • @db95018 And Mick liked her sister, Estelle!

  • @jennifersenn am reading Keith Richards new book "life" great book

  • @db95018 I bet his book tells a lot of juicy stuff about 'the Stones' over the years!

  • Such Class and style.

  • i remember this performance when i was a kid. it brings back an era of talent, charm, and class. love this song

  • They could have toppled the pyramids with those heels and hips.

  • A true rock classic.

  • when music had soul and substance

  • I agree w/ the clothes on comment, it was about the song + the emotions that were expressed in the singer's face..not like today's singers who insist on shoving there ho- like outfits + only average bodies on us..they're so focused on the dance routine that they don't connect w/ the audience w/ their face..u wanna dance?, go join a jazzercise class, u wanna sing, well get behind a mic and project the song, unless yer song sucks so bad u need to cover it up by wearing hot pants, ...now about rap.

  • I LOVED THIS SONG ALLMY LIFE~ THANK YOU!

  • she was so so hot

  • How could anyone dislike these ladies? R I P Estelle.

  • Perfection. Ten out of Ten. The best record ever by the best band ever. I love it x

  • Perfection. Ten out of Ten. The best record ever by the best band ever. I love it xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • LOVE RONNIE AND ALWAYS WILL...THAT VOICE...THAT HARMONY...THOSE MOVES...RIP ESTELLE

  • Mil gracias por este video en particular.

  • I remember seeing the Ronettes on Long Island!!!!!! Great fun it was!!!

  • JJRV: "The night we met I knew I needed you so

And if I had the chance I'd never let you go"...

  • projection of the Animus Archetype ( i.e. Daddy )?

  • i think i actually saw this on shindig when i was a kid. i remember my mom remarking about ronnie being bowlegged. odd isnt it. dont ask for an explanation-that was just mom

  • i think i actually saw this on shindig when i was a kid. i remember my mom remarking about ronnie being bowlegged. odd isnt it.

  • When you could sing to music and feel the joy of the harmony.......thanks for sharing it!

  • I love this...thank you so much for sharing! do you have more??

  • awesome video, they don't have this kind of music anymore,it is the best

  • There are four schmucks who don't like decent music!!

  • The Best... natetelevisao

  • Best version ever! The Ronettes RULE!!!

  • MAGIC

  • Aren't they Hispanic or something like that? Anyways, I wonder how this girls survived during those eras cause people were crazy with their racism back then. I know not everyone was racist but laws were harsh back then. Can someone explain this to me?

  • @dinoxyt It was simply this: There were white facilities, and black ones....racially. "Negroes not allowed". That was the jist of it.They blame it on the south, and it was bad there, but, there were problems ALL OVER. Hank Aaron, legendary baseball player had to stay in a separate hotel with the "black players", even in places like New York City. Hugh Hefner of all people REFUSED to be rascist and would include black girls in his magazine as well as sponsor many black performers. It was bad then.

  • @dinoxyt ! was Puerto Rican the other 2 African American. Remember most Puert Ricans have African blood. Hispanic is not a race.

  • @kwacou They are Boricua cousins.

  • @snakey319 Yes on their mothers side their fathers being African American. Which is not unusual in New York.

  • @kwacou and @snakey319 Ronnies dad is Irish...her mom is 1/2 Cherokee and African American,,,,Nelda is the 1/2 PR and african american..... just a FYI

  • shindig got me through puberty. why couldn't i have been phil spector?

  • Isn't it kinda weird how much whites hated blacks (still do) but yet the only people black primarily performed to were white people....I mean really check out all these old videos and see for yourself.

  • @shirnellc "Little Richard" INVENTED R&R but,has never been given the credit for doing so...the same goes for "Chuck Berry","Fats Domino","Bo Diddley",and others who are still ALIVE but, have not received the proper recognition that they deserve in "crafting" what was a TOTALLY NEW musical medium,at the time !

  • @arjaramillo Those artists are given credit all the time. Elvis was the King though and the other artists weren't given as much credit as he was because they weren't as good as he was.

  • EV 635 mic yet!

  • absolutely sheer bliss, cannot get enough of them, charisma and charm not forgetting the talent and beauty to behold love them

  • The Ronettes, The Crystals, The Supremes, The Shirelles, The Dixie-Cups.......there are absolutely NO girl-groups around today who are anywhere near their planet, never mind ON it! MAGIC!!!

  • Esto es lo máximo en la música moderna contemporánea .

  • Holy carp..Thats Regis Philbin ....

  • @hjg1953 For sure! I don't think I ever stopped wanting her.

  • Yeah thank you Spector for enslaving Ronnie, abusing her and ending her career abruptly. FU you Jody.

  • Thank you Phil Spector!

  • The Ronettes were a multiracial group, which was unusual during the 1960s. The Bennetts' mother was African-American, Cherokee Indian and their father was Irish; their cousin, Nedra Talley is African-American and Puerto Rican. In her autobiography, Ronnie Spector said that at one point in her childhood, she was not sure if she was black or white.

  • Beautiful voices and beautiful young ladies.

  • That song by this group is art, plain and simple.

  • Amy from 1965 lol !

  • Amy from 1965 lol

  • Yeah, they were good. Ronnie (Veronica), her sister Estele, and their cousin Nedra. Top quality stuff. Ronnie still sounds the same....incredible!

  • super cool !

  • Every time I watch this I get a chill down my back. Hey guys, was there even one of us who didn't want Ronnie? Her beautiful voice and looks and wow could she play an audience.

  • @12715159 I still want her. Hahahaha

  • Oh Ronnie, you're fuckin beautiful, dump Phil , al look after you!xxx

  • GD that voice could stop traffic

  • 3 people r douchebags

  • AT the beach , everyone had transistor radios, mostly all on the same station , imagine this song blasting accross miles of beach , it was sooooo good !

  • Je ne crois pas que "god" soit pour quelque chose dans l'avancée technologique qui permet aux humains des XX et XXIème siècles de profiter de You Tube ! On mélange tout...

  • I wasn't born yet..

  • Seventh grade, wow was that long ago.

  • No lipsinking here! Doesn't Ronnie have the Cutest "Voice"

and they are ALL SO BEAUTIFUL!! Better Times Then.

    Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa

  • Shindig was the shiznitz ;)

  • Comment removed

  • The Ronettes are Adorable , I love listening & watching them , Thank God for You Tube for providing all these Great Videos & music !

  • @flamingember71 . I agree.

  • Wow she was really cute and charismatic - can see how Phil Spector was so taken by her. She's a really good performer and has a very unique voice as well. Every time i hear this song I think of the scene in Goodfellas where they play it.

  • @JDWnSRV OOOOooo.

  • @JDWnSRV True he should have just said Chuck Berry, but yes I see what you mean.

  • @JDWnSRV No I just disagree with both of you. I wont be a nuisance by getting into a debate just not that big a fan of the Ronettes. Now not saying they weren't incredibly talented or that I don't like their music just not as enthusiastic about them as others might be.

  • This is a national treasure.

  • 1965 was a good year.

  • this will allways give me goospimples ,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    great times!!

  • lovely

  • this song brings me so much happiness in my heart

  • @MrMariof1 yea,,beautiful song,,,never gets old,,,watch"Rysiu Disco" or "Supershemick"

  • just like Ronnie sang...

  • And she is singing live... and great. Madonna, eat your heart out.

  • Never Forget You - Noisettes is one of the small amount of 'good' songs out these days

  • I can't stop watching Ronni shaking that cute little ass!!

  • Oh my God, is there a more sensual vocalist ever??? No wonder Phil Spector couldn't keep it together after Ronni

  • is she black or italian, hard to tell

  • I love that little naughty kitty smile at 1:01

  • 3 idiots are now receiving psychiatric help!....

  • Dig those Do's.

  • Rnnie, Nedra, Estelle. One of the most sensual and talented girl groups in history.

    I LOVE 'EM...mmmuuuuaaaa..

  • I think i'd like to pull my penis in her ear

  • Keith has been there.

  • All the time I see this video reminds me of the A line skirts we wore back then ,

    oh those memories.. : -)

  • My band opened for the Ronettes in 1974 at The Satellite Lounge outside of McGuire Airforce Base in New Jersey. We shared a dressing room with them. They were still brilliant, sexy and beautiful. The crowd was mostly servicemen with their dates who were babies when the Ronettes were starting out. They still look and sound amazing.

  • @theslithytoves1 I remember the Satellite I was stationed at McGuire early 80's

  • @soflguy1 That is cool! We played there a few times in 1974 and always had a good crowd and great time. We were a rock band playing lots of originals but also covers of Santana, The Doors, Stones, even some Motown. That was a long time ago! Thanks for commenting.

  • @theslithytoves1 and they did all of it with their clothes on! Thats what real talent will do for a young woman!

  • @1rleger Agree. It makes them so sexy as well - incomparable with the half naked gymnasts who don't make the difference between dance (emotion) and sports (performance). I would say exactly the same for men.

  • @1rleger i know thats right. best comment i have ever read. and they were still beautiful.

  • @1rleger but wouldn't it be better if they didn't have clothes on?

  • @scoobt00b

oh hell yeah. they were hot. niiiicee mixture.....they are like what 96 right now? and they still got a little something going in the looks end.

  • @scoobt00b HAHAHA. Scoob I'm one of those guys who likes women to keep what they have a mystery. My Dad taught me that you don't eat a good hog all at once. A little at time is best.

  • @theslithytoves1 Estelle and Nedra weren't even performing with Ronnie by 1974, so whoever you saw with Ronnie were not even the original Ronettes.

  • @jennifersenn Thanks for the info...it was a long time ago, and you are right, Ronnie was performing with two other girls. They were terrific. Our keyboard player and bass player backed them up. We were 6 long haired kids playing our own material (sort of Santana-esc rock and roll). It was fun to be on the same bill as a legend.

  • Paul... you OWNED him! LOL

  • I always get such a warm loving feeling everytime I hear these songs. Ahh, fond memories of my grandmother. she was such a lady- just like these gals. Always dressed to the nines and perfectly styled. Even under her officers uniform she had on nylons!

  • wow sponge....your the luckiest 3 year old i know of....

  • Used to see them at the Brooklyn Fox in the 60's The Rock & Roll Show..Fabian, Frankie Avalon, The Four Seasons & all of them..We were fortunate to grow up during this era..cause MUSIC, MUSIC, MUSIC was what it was all about..Dancing, singing on street corners...LONG LIVE ROCK & ROLL & those of us still Young at Heart who can dance, sing & enjoy them still! Peace, Love & a Smile...VIVA MARIA!

  • i think here name was beautiful: Veronica Benett likes me more than ronnie...!!

  • i would have liked to be ronnies baby

  • @MegaGOD1111 Fine, my friend, and I would have loved to be your cousin in law! LOL. My, what an exquisite lovely girl is Nedra!

  • so HOT...fierce! Go Ronnie!

  • FREE PHIL SPECTOR

  • @mckinleyralvarez so he can go and kill another girl???

  • Be my...be my.. little baby.

  • Wow. I loved and still love that song. Thank you so much. I hope things are going well today for these women.

  • Ronnie was so beautiful!
