Hey guys these both are beautiful machines, i love anything with wheels.. but any who my question is why is the bikes losing races to cars because the gixxer1000 weighs around 500lbs and has 198 some hp and hondas weigh way more like around 2xxx lbs and factory k series engine produce around or more 200hp... and modded it can produce more but shouldnt the bike have a dominant margin in the power to weight ratio there for winnn? :0
Cheers on the car. Next time though if you don't have a Go Pro, I would suggest putting something over the mic of the camera. Like a wad of paper towels. This way you still can hear the vehicles, but won't have the wind drowning them out. Or just keep the camera inside the car next time.
WOW!!! an 08 gixxer??? 1000??? with mods??? I had a 2002 gsxr-1000 with a dual devil exhaust and a power commander and if i hit that throttle in any gear, never tried 5th and 6th tho, but the wheel comes up easy!!!

Iv see one other vid of a honda beating abike. but if you say closley when watching it. the rider didnt full throttle it.. and he didnt tuck in... In this vid.. it sounded like the bike didnt shift out of 1st. So i still question some vids of hondas beating bikes
@RaptureIZI I just watched the video agan and you really cant hear the bike at all, so how can you tell if he shifted or not? All I heard was the car getting on it and fighting for traction. He really doesnt need to tuck much, cause if you'll notice he has a double bubble, which allows the air to go up and around his helmet better than a stock windscreen.

Why didnt I hear the guy on the bike shift? My 07 R1 can hit 100 mph in first gear and just climb from there every gear afterwards. Good race but I hate seeing people ride with the right gear.

Ha, are you serious. The engine sound in the video is coming from the civic, not the bike. That was 1 gear, the rev fluctuation is from the tires breaking loose. Thats what a 800+ whp civic is like on the street, a constant battle for traction. This civic just ran a high 9 at over a 150mph.
