Yes; in military terms (which is the lie being presented by this weasel Gilbert), "heavy metal" is a synonym for "depleted uranium". Tungsten is heavy, and it's a metal (in exactly the same way that lead is), but it's not "depleted uranium", which is what this bullshit artist is trying to portray it as.
