Wow!! no puedo creerlo, recuerdo haber visto este video en Ecuavisa... creo que fue en la entrega de los Grammy 1979... Alice era de mis favoritos y esta canción aun me mata. Grax!
One of my heroes. Alice Cooper = God. This is the song I listen to when things get rough and I went to drink again. Thanks to Alice for this song & keeping me clean & sober for 8 years will have 9 on 2/27.
I've only just twigged, the lyrics "I'm never alone," meaning the bottle... you'll never get the like of this again. I'm just amazed that the older I get the more I understand x
@drfreud65 nop this was first relised on goes to hell ,,, the album from the inside is the one that came out fter he was relised from an insane asylum he dried out from alchohal , there were no chemical dependacy treatments then ,,, he wasnt crazy just a drunk that need time away from drinking,,, but before he ever needed help this song was written by wagner and cooper
Billboard's #82 song of '77. Alice hit #12 pop, #24 AC in Billboard. Alice, if you're a Christian, how 'bout givin' up the macabre behavior, and goin' back to bein' Vince Furnier? God bless!
This is the song I listen to when things get rough & I want to drink again Thanks To Alice for this song & keeping me clean & sober for 8 yrs will have 9 on 2/27.
This was played a lot when roller-rinks had that spot light skate for girlfriends and boyfriends. Everyone else had to leave the floor. Times were good then and still are I think.
amazing song, i agree with the comment about alice cooper being a very underated song writer. He really manage to portray his sentiment out to the public. Excellent video thanks for uploading.
This performance was perhaps the most emotional performance ever. This is a rare video in the sense he was at the height of his battle with alcoholism. His addiction to alcohol took a toll on himself as well as his marriage, he wrote this song with Dick Wagner and was about his life style and how he felt. Very emotional.
@dimpledick3inch I have a saying. "When I want the pig I'll rattle the bucket" so just because you don't like AC doesn't mean you should come here and rabbit on with shit so fuck off arsehole.AC is KING
Yeah, but don't forget to mention that I swallow better than anyone YOU know.
See, you just wanna be always second rate.
Plus your comments are getting a bit shorter. You know when you're faced with facts that you cannot argue against unless it's some dimple dicked, 3 inched retort like "You Suck - No wait You Swallow"!
You're lack of known facts must be a direct result from brain damage suffered from you sitting there with your finger was up your ass.
He's by far the hardest working entertainer from the over 50 crowd. World wide concerts, regular cd releases, golf charaties (raising money for wayward kids - like you perhaps, Solid Rock Foundation, regular radio show, not to mention interviews all over the world, recently a Saturday host on a funny/creepy tv series.) I could go on. Research
@dimpledick3inch Well I guess that would make you his mother, seeing as you know what he gets in the mail each week. Anyway have fun trolling man, it was good feeding you momentarily.
@dimpledick3inch Hahaha...so, tell me, why is Cooper still doing tours today, and Hanson isn't? Or are you just upset because you're favorite little band of boy-girls grew up and moved on?
This is a really great performance, perhaps I am over analyzing it but when he wipes off the makeup it almost seems to me that he's coming out of his Alice Cooper character and singing this as himself, as a human and showing everyone the real man behind Alice Cooper.
I saw Alice Cooper recently, it was a sold out show and he rocked the house. His performance is probably the most amazing and entertaining performance I've seen from any artist.
@pittresident No, I actualy havent, but KISS and Alice are my favorite bands. My father has seen Alice live three times in his younger years, tho. He was fifteen when he attended his first Alice show. I have seen Eric Singer Project live. There youv'e got Chuck and Eric from Alice Cooper and Eric and Bruce from KISS and John Corabi from Mötley Crüe. Well, I will keep you updated! ;) |..|, Rock on!
@pittresident Hey there again! I have now seen KISS and Alice Cooper live only 17 days between eachoter. I must say that they are the best of their kind. KISS are the kings of pyro show and rockets, but Alice didn't have any pyro in his show. Alice is the king of Shock Rock and has the wildest stage show of them all. I cried at the KISS show, but not at the Alice show, though x] So there you have it, they were both the best I have ever seene. They are the kings of the style they do.
Wow, such an emotional song, always my favorite, .. and this is likely the best video ive ever seen of it. Brillaint songwriter. Those 9 people that gave thumbs down are hopeless. lol
Alice Cooper is fantastic on so many levels-I bought what is probably my 6th copy of "Welcome To My Nightmare" just a week ago-nobody admits to liking it, but it disappears every time I pull it out at a party. Hmmmmm....
washed up has been?edhall1,you have no idea!! You are talking about a man who is 62 years old (well he will be on the 4th Feb),has his own radio show and still tours for most of the year!! Alice rocks and he will still be rockin' for years to come!!!
his radio show is nothing but self hype and mind numbingly boring. he didnt even sell out the local 2000 seat arena????? gotta admit hes wayyyyy past his prime.
Well you must listen to it then!but I ask the question WHY?Is your life so dull and boring that you are only happy if you are whinging? If you don't like Alice why are you looking at his videos?I know i wouldn't look at something i didn't like! And as for not selling out your local 2000 seat arena-Who bloody care's?! Alice doesn't need to prove anything anymore,he's been there done that,he tours for his true fans no matter the size of the crowd! You are a very negative person!! Get a Life!!!
Who cares if he is still touring when he is 80 and no one but his sister shows up, it's his life and he can do what he wants. So he's 62, what's he supposed to do, hide out in his basement until he dies? There's nothing wrong with doing what you enjoy at any age and I've seen a lot of the old acts and most of them are as good as ever!
hey man, just cause an artist doesnt sell out a 2000 seat arena doesnt mean he way past his prime.... alice is an acquired taste of music and still rocks after more than 40 years...not many artists even last 10 years....so you got to give him that even if you dont like him!!!! i think alice cooper rocks!!!
Laugh. You must not have ever seen Alice Cooper, you dont have a right to say what he looks or doesn't look like. He's a god and your ignorant beyond measure.
Wow. You can tell this song was extremely personal and meaningful to him at the time. I'm sure it still is, but he gets hanged during this song now lol. He never would have done that back when this song was released.
@Zando24 uh....I think what you're hearing and seeing is his breathlessness and exhaustion from whiskey intake! I love Alice Cooper, especially his old stuff.....but he was TANKED 24 / 7 back then. Glad he got sober so he's lasted this long!
Actually, I think the brilliance of Alice Cooper is in his versatility to do songs like Poison, but also songs like this and Some Folks. His mastry of stage performance and audience truly makes him an admirable artist.
@jckovach Don't forget, Alice co-wrote this song with Dick Wagner who is also a phenomenal song writer. I think this song, though, was all Alice and how he felt. At the time he was the peak of alcoholism and I truly believe the lyrics of this song he wrote about himself and how he felt.
obvio!! para ti que te gustan los g siempre va a ser mejor su versión.. yo sin duda me quedo con la interpretación de Alice para mi no hay una mejor que esta... es cosa de gustos!!!
I have created the ULTIMATE Alice Cooper playlist! Just click on my account and got to playlists. Theres a TON of artists there! I have a playlist full of nothing but Alice Cooper music vids and live shows! Over 80 vids! Check it out!
He could re-release this today as the original version with the economy the way it is, it would be a pretty big hit. The more things change the more they stay the same.....
I think this was an awards show. American Music Awards maybe? They used to have three hosts 1 country, 1 Soul/ R& B, 1 Rock. I think Alice was the Rock Host.
Schumalice: I definitely didn't see him in 1976...It was the summer when You and Me was such a big hit, so maybe 1977 or '78? We had great seats...Cooper brought out the guillotine and the chicken...
No matter how touching or cool or meaninful the vid, there's always someone there to make a snide comment. Why do these ppl have to judge so much? Is it fun for them?

He could re-release this today as the original version with the economy the way it is, it would be a pretty big hit. The more things change the more they stay the same.....

I think this was an awards show. American Music Awards maybe? They used to have three hosts 1 country, 1 Soul/ R& B, 1 Rock. I think Alice was the Rock Host.

Saw this tour of Alice Cooper back in the day. Great stuff.

Impossible, the "Alice Cooper Goes To Hell Tour" was cancelled because Alice suffered from anemia, back in 1976.
But you're right, that's some great stuff!

Schumalice: I definitely didn't see him in 1976...It was the summer when You and Me was such a big hit, so maybe 1977 or '78? We had great seats...Cooper brought out the guillotine and the chicken...

OK, then I understand better. I wish I were born 30 years before to see this show too. The show you went to was in 1977 ^^

I was a teenager when he was popular, and he did give us some good music. that is for sure. I liked his original videos too.

No matter how touching or cool or meaninful the vid, there's always someone there to make a snide comment. Why do these ppl have to judge so much? Is it fun for them?
