Thanks for the update Kristina. Bless her..thank goodness the dysplasia is not too severe at the moment...not too many long walks remember :) She is just so beautiful, the best thing is that she is in a loving home with you and Im sure that will make up for the blindness. Hugs to both of you xx
@lyndachabane, thank you! Yes she is still blind.. We aren't completely sure how blind she is though b/c we've seen multiple veterinarians and have gotten different answers each time. So a portion of the money that we are getting from our ChipIn will be used to take her to an opthamologist. So that a specialist is able to diagnose and treat her properly. The vets say that they are almost positive that she has hip dysplasia just from the outward signs of it. But x-rays are being done tomorrow!
@lyndachabane, UPDATE! After her x-rays and opthamologist appointment we found out that she does have hip dysplasia but it isn't very bad yet and won't be needing surgery anytime soon. All that we can do is sit and wait. We also found out that she has central blindness in both of her eyes and is completely blind (if she has any vision at all, it isn't helpful). But the good thing is that her eyes look very healthy and won't be giving her any troubles later in her life.

she is so beautiful, and looks blissfully happy with you and your other babies. Is she still blind and what is the prognosis on her hips. Thanks x
