it suckz because the second Harddrive can only be used for Raid. So you need allways double Harddrives if you want to use full capacity . I bought an Asus mini TS server with 2 TB instead. Double Fast as this crap.

I returned this NAS Device to Best Buy because it would not work with Windows 7 over the network.

Poor quality build, poor manufacture support, slow red and write times, and crappy netgear raid configuration with no JBOD support and no addon software applications updates that can touch the likes of QNAP and others.

This is no where near the best network storage device on the market today, in fact its sales are so bad that from the moment it was released the price has continuously dropped and dropped and dropped at a ridiculous rate. This is okay if you're a noob with no expectations. Sorry!
