  • Ever since Sharon Osbourne shit on Iron Maiden, I've lost all respect for Ozzfest. :/

  • Of course Metallica is bigger than Ozzfest! Metallica is probably the inspiration of the idea for dethklok on metalocolypse xD!

  • Well i think this was May of 07. This year Metallica might be in ozzfest. If that happens, i'll be headbanging for 2 days straight! It'll be like the 80's all over again when Metallica and Ozzy toured together.

  • Metallica are way bigger than Ozzfest to be fair. ;)

  • Correct, Ozzfest is not a band. But Metallica as a whole package is bigger than all of the Ozzfest organisation and the rest of the potential bands on the bill put together. Thats not a put down as I love any of the bands who play Ozzfest and bust their balls but Metallica is a huge organisation aswell as band. Im sure my opinion is shared with many Youtube Metallica fans.

  • haha james looks like John F. Kennedy when he was laughing about that was lars talked xD

  • omg he did. lol

  • it almost feels like they have been working on the new album for 20 years.. man this better be good or i will curse 2008.

  • Well if your not interested then why the hell would u come on this EXACT SITE w/ METALLICA on it and post something stupid like that on this site for huh?

    What an idiot...

  • If this new album is gonna blow my fucking brains of! I will have rick rubin as my favorite producer for sure

  • "we're cured" k now give us a album that is worth our time and money!

  • Man i remember when i first heard rumors that metallica was going to do ozzfest, i was pissed when i found out that it was avenged but whatever!

  • Having Metallica on Ozzfest would be horrible! I just like to see Ozzy & Metallica just do a tour together like they did in the 80's or Sabbath and Metallica, that would be the shit!

  • Ozzfest needs Metallica after 2007. The only good bands were Ozzy and Static-X

  • yea, it would be awsome to see metallica tour with ozzy again, and to kick dragonforce out, they suck. didnt disturbed tour with ozzy last year?theyre pretty good too

  • I love it.... "we're cured!"... sounds kinda like Mustaine saying "he was gone for a while, but he's back (with old style shredding thrash metal). Welcome back guys...... IF you are back.

  • Hopefully, the new album'll be good.

  • i have a good feeling bout this new album. i genuinely think it could be really good..... am i alone on this thought???

  • no, everyone knows it will be great!

  • yep same here

  • I have had the chance to hear a bit of the new stuff and you guys will not be dissapointed at least i don't think cuz i am not. Being a fan of theres for almost 20 years and likeing pretty much whatever they have done for it's own reasons. But i think this record has got to be great or else what did the spend that 2 years doing besides writing?

  • lol yeah she is annoying aint she lol and yes bring on rick rubin!!!

  • great their cured, someone needs to kick em in the ass and get the album out!! anything to scab the wound that ST Anger left on the band.

  • "If I could have my little balls back, would I use them to get back on track?" Metallica, make another real METAL album (it's been like 16 years since), or you're truly through, and all hope is forever lost for you.

  • I really liked Load and Reload. Load in particular. Sure, it's not thrash, but it's ballsy, blues, layered hard rock that grooves hard. Lyrically fantstic as well. Especially on "The House That Jack Built" and "Bleeding Me", which is my favourite 'Tallica song. I also really like "Where the Wild Things Are" and "Devil's Dance".

    G

  • i agree

  • dariusb23 gwt some pills for brains and memory, the tour was called sick of the studio, and there is a interview with James explaining why it is called like that, they were just too tired to be in the studio recording and went out and did a tour, now there back in the studio and the new album is closer :):):)

  • you cant beat the pills man. thats right

but you know albums like ride the lightning and master of puppets? they were recorded in 1 or 2 months. but they turned out good. but albums such as load and reload they were in and out for 2 years i think.

maybe they should keep it quick

  • this womans voice is annoying. im expecting her to say "3 little pigs in the house. then the big bad wolf came along..."

  • LOL

  • hahahaahaha :)))))

  • Please dont be St. Anger 2! I am a HUGE Metallica fan and i can say that St. Anger was awful...and their worst studio album to date...so we definetly do not need St. Anger 2...we just need something to show Metallica still have the fire they once had

  • i think load was worse lol

  • yea st. anger was to some extent really bad but man load was horrible

  • i cant decide which is the worst. load was terrible, and reload was also pretty bad. but load had unworse songs than reload. Reload had fuel though. St anger is another story lol

  • yea reload is definetly better than load and st. anger i thought is actually better than load

  • atleast st anger had some attitude to it. Load and reload were like the opposite of attitude.

  • pleaz be st anger 2!

  • I think the new album will be great, but it pisses me off that they're so f*cking SLOW with it! They should put a bit moore pressure on themselves, I think that wouldn't be a bad thing to do...

  • i don't think so..

Usually, in a restaurant, if you don't have to wait long, the food's probably just deep frozen. Waiting a bit longer usually means fresh, authentic food

    The same applies to music

If it doesn't take them some time, they're probably not gonna do some really new stuff, but are only putting shit together to get an album out asap. That's not good in my opinion..

Although I long to hear the new album, I'm ok with waiting until it's done

  • ehh id rather they take their time and put out the best album they can and not something that seems like it was slung together in 8 or 9 months

  • Well, you're probably right, but I just think about a thing James said in an interview, that he sometimes was afraid that they "think too much". That's probably good, since they make shure the new album is good, but too much thinking can mess up songs... just a thought..

  • yep

  • completely agreed. its a joke. they even had a tour called escape from the studio. its like a kid escaping a dentist appointment halfway through it

  • shit
