  • His voice sounds like Cloud...

  • Very nice demo, well done.

  • yeah, anyone know the track that hes playing in the background at the start??

  • What is the name of the track/song in the backround??? please tell me :D

  • I wish I had that many guitars -_-....

  • Johnny's demos are just great. Got to say I aways enjoy them..

  • @RuiCarlos23 they sound fine to me, not switched or anything.

  • What is that guitar, the dark red one.

  • @GamingTechOnline breedlove mark 1, they don't make it anymore... which is too bad.

  • @davemort83 aww thats a shame. I know where a few "Fretted Instruments" shops are. I could look for a second hand one. I have tried out a certain schecter and I am content on it though.

  • He couldn't sell icewater to people in hell.

  • how big is the whole thing in inches post back asap

  • how big is the whole thing in inches

  • Fantastic

  • Johnny Demarco, you could sell rice to the chinese. I am totally getting this for my practice amp!

  • This dude is almost like the blonde Phil X

  • @TenFourMusicGroup Are you serious???

  • Brit Combo remembers me led zeppelin in this video

  • Has anybody noticed him repeating the r-fier riff in every Cube video?

  • great amp, but i don't really know how to use the tuner

  • 2:35 - ish

Sounded like Metallica - And Justice For All

  • thanks for the inspiraytional vid. viddyed it bore-o some and take care. enjoyed!

  • it really is a beautiful beast.

  • Johnny Demarco for PRESIDENT!

  • @burnedoutgolfer Phil X for president!!!

  • No imitations here man!

  • WHAT IS THE SONG HE PLAYS AT

    3:15 - 3:33

  • Purchased one yesterday. Awesome amp. The only thing i dont like about it is the fact you cant use some effects together, but i knew that before i purchased it. Hooked it up through a pioneer rack stereo system and sounds fantastic.

  • wats the song he plays with brit combo and r-fier?

  • @Uaresofaking R-fier sounds like Holy Wars by Megadeth

  • well i have the normal, because i use it with my acoustic guitar, but now i'm thinking of buying an electric guitar, and maybe i'll use this new amp for my future electric guitar

  • I can watch JDM forever, guy's such a great character! ROCK ON BUDDY!

  • lol this guys amazin but hes so funny

    : )

  • ...indomabile attacco di GAS.

  • have anyone noticed that the flanger and phaser effect demos are switched?

    thats weird...

  • @23RuiCarlos23 : they're not. i think you just got them mixed up :)

  • @23RuiCarlos23 are your ears working?? the phaser is definately a phaser. it sounds like an MXR 90 on a faster rate. the flager does have the characteristic associated with common phaser useage. but it clearly a flanger but its drone like tone

  • at 2.22 i thought he was abt to play holy wars :)

  • WOW AMAZING!

  • not the yellow one

  • the yellow one is cool. not the first one he plays

  • yea i agree

  • excellent review/demo, this microcube is like a cube 30x, but its smaller and with 4 speakers of 4'', i think this is the best

  • What should i buy...the old Micro Cube or the new Micro Cube RX?

  • The old micro cube is an awesome piece, but it lacks the 3-band EQ, it's only got the Tone control, that's why I support the RX. Of course, I should think the RX's sound quality is better because of the four speakers, and it's got a whole deal of other functions the original doesn't. So, in my opinion, If you've got enough money to spend, get the RX, but if you want to get a killer mini amp for dirt cheap, the original is the way to go.

  • You are totally right, I've got the original microcube, and it rocks!

Of course this one has a lot more options for you to play with but the original is really worth its money, though its not expensive, it has great sound (after all, its still a Rolland!), its versatile, and the portable feature actually comes in handy... Specially for me since I love to go camping into the wild and I must take my guitar with me...

  • new !i got the old one and i want this one sooo bad XD

  • i have heard its better to get the micro cube , this is louder tough , but i prefer the first one

  • I bought one of these and I think it's a dynamite amp. For practise, writing, or sitting out on the back porch jammin' it's great. I like the seperate stereo input, I put my boss DR-670 drum machine thru this and jam and it's great. For the size, and takes batteries, the effects, the amp models, I give this little powerhouse an A+...! Real glad I got one

  • I like this amp, but does it have channel and solo boost footswitching, if so I want one.

  • It does have solo boost (button), but not via footswitch.

This amp has just one footswitch input, and it's for start/stop/ tap tempo for the built in 'mini drum machine'.

  • If I put in a rechargeable battery and I put in the AC adapter plug, will it charge the battery at the same time?

  • ..no:)

  • no...

  • what's the name of the guitar? (the one in dark red).

  • on clean presets the amp is awesome, but the r-fier model sucks. i know because i have a micro-cube at home...

  • great little pratice amp, fairly good volume for its size

  • Yeah but whats it sound like without being mic'd?

  • My friend has had a regular Micro Cube for ages, been jealous, got me one as well, and a Bass Micro Cube RX, the tuner is way sharp, and the drummy thingy is lame, tho besides those two shortcomings, ya couldn't pry it outta my cold dead hands for ANYthing...makes alla my bass guitars sound yummy, and it being portable AND battery powered makes it great!

  • I was playing the verse of enter the sandman by metallica on R-fire...Wow....lol this amp is the coolest thing ever :P

  • I now have a Cube 80X YEAH!!!

  • me tooooo

  • how much does it cost?

  • 2:38 holy shit cut your nails

  • maybe he plays flamenco lol

  • i hope so those look intense

  • the rhing that he played on 2:23 sounded like holy wars by megadeth

  • is it a tube amp???

  • No. Solidstate, but extreme!

  • Wow... this kinda kicks Cube 20x's ass...

I'm saying so because I'm getting the 20x soon and am wondering - should I?

  • dude get a a cube 30 0r 60 even this amp is shit for band and gig but for private practice it kinda works

  • Do you think the Cube 60 will be fine for me??? I do lots of pretty big conserts.

  • I'm wondering if this amp is better than a 30 W Fender or Marshall ...

  • hehe what a guitar for reverb^^

    N1 i like this amp!

  • sorry dude - gotta disagree... I have a buddy that has the older one and I've played with the newer one in the guitar store by me and the thing is incredible.. I do hear you on the guitar he's got but you really can squeeze quite a lot out of that thing - not to mention (yeah - he's annoying) but he can play -

remember kids.. it's in the fingers.. not the equipment!

  • Anyone no what guitar that is?

  • the guitar is made by a company called "breedlove", dunno what the model is though, its on their website

  • Roland Cube 30x or Roland Microcube RX?¿

  • i,d choose the micro cube rx because its smaller and i think it sounds the same.:)

  • 30x is ALOT better.

  • i use this amp and its awesome. i can't understand, how you can say it's a toy: the distortion sound is flawless, there are different types of clean sounds and many more; it has a TUNER and a METRONOME; it can be played anywhere, because it can be feed by batteries; many more other features that I haven't discovered yet. this amp doesn't compete with anything, because it's clearly the at its kinds.

  • Very nice!

  • i want one!!!

  • Keep in mind folks, this is a nice TOY. Johnny makes it look VERY nice mainly because hes a well guitar player.

  • It's not a toy, lol

  • Its an EXTREME Practice amp lol

  • the riff at the beginning is incredible :O

  • should i get this or the original microcube?I really need a new amp. MINE SUCKS!It's a Fender 15G.

  • Depending on what style of music you play, you could get a tube amp for the price of an RX these days..I must say though these things are nice. If you need the features the RX has, obviously go for the RX. If not, get the original. But I'd look into getting a tube amp. I saved my money got a B-52 (way more expensive, but still) and I love it. I also have a cube though and its great too for bedroom practice. Hope that helped! :)

  • He's always at his best.

  • What amp model is it on when you did the chorus?

    I loved that tone

  • Can you post a few eq settings (which bass, treble etc.) for different types of music? Like one for blues, one for Slayer thrash style? I got a Basswood body, maple neck guitar with passive humbackers. Tnx for help.

  • His probably got an eq pedal, and a bunch of distortion pedals right at his feet. :)

    Money printer.:P

  • is he using a breedlove?

  • Nice

  • the first axe is nice too. i think i'm going to go for the 30x too though

  • which one can get more sound this or roland cube 30x

  • Hey veke!i just tried this thing again today and i have to say it sounds weak compared to the 30x.I would go 30x for sure.the rx does not sound this good in real life.hope this helps.

  • Thanks! Im taking the cube 30x

  • loooove the flanger

since im a beginner i dont think thats right for me with all the drums and the effects coz i dont think i will be usin these stuff

the r-fier in the normal micro cube is more than enough for me xD

lol but after this presentation i still kinda want 1

    JOHNNY U FUCKIN RULE

  • wow...the flanger + the heavy distortion sounds sooo dark and deep...awesome ^^

  • Once I played through this amp I had to buy it. It's gonna be here in a few days so I can't wait for this bad boy!

Lol, @ zx7gp "Johnny!you could sell an Eskimo a snowball dude."

That gave me a nice chuckle, thanks ;)

  • Johnny!you could sell an Eskimo a snowball dude.

  • Is this amp really this sweet or is it being enhanced somehow being miked up?If not,i'm really liking this!

  • Nah, I imagine the RX really is that great. I have the original Micro Cube, it sounds great, it's got some great (but basic) effects, it has some great classic rock distortions and a good metal distortion, as well as good clean sounds. And this also has a tuner, a drum machine, an equalizer and is stereo, so it's even better than the Micro Cube, as well as being quite cheap for an amp.

  • Thanks Joziaac.Good info.

  • hey whats the metal distortion? the classic one or the last 1?

  • metal distortion is the r-fier distortion

  • wats the song he plays when he shows the chorus effect?????

  • Is it me, or did he lose excitement in his voice in this video?

  • Yeah man. It's like he mellowed out. They must have medicated his excitement. D:

  • @sushigagai I think it was his glasses. they must be some sort of crack goggles.

  • I want stuff like that!!! :'(

  • What is his guitar??

  • I can't really tell, I guarantee it was made since 2000 though. You know, I guess I'm old fashion, and I sure don't shred, I am somewhere between Neil Young and Johnny Thunders as far as guitar playing goes. the only thing I can shred is lettuce when I worked in a restaurant. But it seems with all these features on this little amp that's just more to go wrong. But I'm playing bass right now through a yamaha 400 amp with an acoustic head. So simple a monkey could play my set up.

  • I'm even gonna solder my Neck and body pick up controls together. I think simpler the better, then if ya want all that shit, you

get a pedal (S). But for what it's worth, this guy makes this thing sound phenomenal.

But he could probably plug his guitar into a fire hydrant and it sound great. ha not really, but ya gotta admit not just everyone is gonna get this and be manuevering their way around as easy as Johny Demarco. Still a pretty nifty amp.

  • I believe it's a Breedlove. I don't know the model though

  • Johnny DeMarco Rulez, the best video about amplifier ever seen!. This amplifier is the election for the guitarist when they can practice at home. You can connect this roland RX to other amplifier with more amp if you want play in a concert!!

  • demarco rules! nice demo!

  • yeaaah, love your vids johnny ;) 5/5
