I watched the very first episode of Girlfriends in the fall of 2000. It aired on a local channel in my town, WCIU. Everything changed when the character Toni Childs left. Even though I love Joan and the rest, Toni seemed to really hold it together somehow. Just sayin'. : D

I loved "girlfriends" it makes me feel better when im stressed out n need 2 laugh... It was a lil different when toni left tho.. But I still think they coulda gave us a series finale.. I mean come on u gon take da show off do it rite.. This show was 8 yrs it shoulda got atleast dat much.. Hopefully we get a movie tho dat patches things up...
