Spraying polycrylic worked like a charm. Left coarse finish each time, but I imagine I'll need to fine sand & polish/rub it out. I used a cheap $10 Harbor Freight "Touch Up" gun. Perhaps some guys spraying w/ finer mist will have more problems due to viscosity/thickness. Thanks for posting this. I hope you have better ventilation than I did (can't see any exhaust in your video).
