that's an amazing dragon, especially when you compare it to any folklore images. I made a dragon once, but I'm still a novice creator so I'm better at drawing them. I like dragons. I'm not sure whether they could have existed though, since there's not much proof but stories, but I like them and I know how all of their body works and how they could be anatomically correct (message me if you wanna know btw)

I mean, yeah it might have been a lizard but every one is going to alter the story a little as it gets passed down. Could've been a grass snake that some exxagerator bigged up to have wings and be huge. They may even have hunted down something like it until it was exstinct. Can you say dodo's existed, cos the last stuffed one got thrown away.

There are no historical accounts of them existing... nothing in writing that shows they were real creatures. No evidence of their bones, shells, scales, ect have ever been found. Oh, and we have dodo bones, casts of their skeletons, as well as many factual reports of the birds existing. Its easy to prove.

Our ancestors had a very vivid imagination but were illiterate, they dind't cared about "scientific" knowledge as we do. Sailors were the first to explore new lands, and they liked to create "amazing" stories from what they saw, doesn't mean that they are right though, because its very common for sailors to get drunk. There's a slight chance that some stuff MIGHT be true, but I won't hold my breath for it.
