  • you have man hands

  • i feel like your not pointing your foot but it could be the may be a little big

  • your vamps could be a little lower but I LOVE YOUR SCIRT

  • Vamps are way too high that's why it's not allowing you to go over in your ecchapes and when you stand enpointe just in fifth, you can see them not working to their fullest.

  • the vamps are i little high... and the shank could be shorter the show more of your arch

  • your vamps are too high

  • I love the skirt !

  • The only reason they look like they don't fit is the same reason mine look funny on my feet. I have really skinny ankles and am to lazy to sew them so they look more streamlined

  • your really not that good just saying and you do the same thing the whole time im better and im 12

  • love the way the fit try to go a little over the box and then its perfect great job

  • how old r u?

  • @danceismylife2000 I would say she is married!? she has a ring on her finger if I remember correctly.

  • @danceismylife2000 oh wrong finger!!

  • i wouldn't dance in that floor...

  • @bananasarehappy ikr, that floor makes me nervous

  • You need to work on your ecchapes. And, I suggest practising in another place in your house because it looks a bit wobbly. I heart the skirt <3

  • Where did you get your ballet shoes from :/?

  • Ok, yeah, it's me again...does anybody else notice the floorboards moving?

  • I really think she is good, btw i LOVE your skirt... XD

  • point is like when you point to some thing point as in pointe shoes ends in an e

  • Wow you are really good! Keep up the good work. By the way what kind of pointe shoes are those?

  • yeah definatelt get some new floor boards. eek! :/ but great pointe work! :)

  • achei muito legal

  • guys before you go saying stuff about her feet don't forget that those shoes aren't broken in yet. But yeah, maybe next time you think about buying another pair of pointes you should consider investing in some new floor boards.

  • They are either horrible (shoes) or your not that good...

  • i bet she's holding on something

  • she doesent stays so good on them !!

  • no toepads!!! ouch

  • So weird... your feet don't bend !!

  • how much do point shoes generally cost?

  • @MichaelaMarty 50 to £150

  • @MichaelaMarty Depends on the brand and where you get them. I think my last pair was around $60. But the ones I want SOOOOOOOOOOO desperately bad are around $80.

  • wooooww those look beautiful on you!

  • lush but those floor boards look dodgie:l

  • I noticed when you were tying on your second shoe, that you don't have elastics. I've always seen elastics on all pointe shoes, but yours are the first I haven't seen any sewn on. So just wondering, why don't you have any?

  • Your shoes look slightly too small.......nice tutu, I bought a similar one last week but in black.

  • oohh, duznt that hurt without toe pads??? great tequnique !

  • i luv my pointe shoes!

  • Very nice but where are your toe pads and other padding u can seriously damage ur toes and screw that amazing talent u have there for good :/

  • @stgeorgecrazy1 some teachers have you learn with out them, it just hurts more

  • WHERE ARE YOUR TOE PADS? YOUR GOING TO BRAKE YOUR TOES.

  • So Pretty!

  • pretty pointe shoes :D

  • wow you are beautiful wen you dance^^

  • your box seems a bit too small, or maybe there's a problem with your shank.

  • what brand of shoes are those ?

  • beaultiful :))

  • Where is the best place to buy a good well quality made leotard? Or what is the best brand. Too bad Juicy couture doesn't make Leotards for adults!

  • @Blissss09 Hey have you tried dance wear soultions thats where i get mind they have very cute leotards :)

  • just wondering does it hurt every time you go on your point? big ballet fan ha and if it does ballet dancers have high pain thresholds hehe

  • @yaoi123456 Not hurting as much, but uncomfortable. Especially new pointe shoes that haven't been broken in yet. They hurt. Lots of dancers have protection in pointe shoes, like ouch pouches, lamb's wool, gel pads or just simple toe tape, but advanced ballerinas usually go without. I find going without ouch pouches hurts my feet. We build up hard skin so that dancing en pointe does not hurt as much. :D

  • @enpointe64 I wear full toe pads now, but I'm starting to practice short amounts of time with only padding on my big toes so that one day I can dance without any padding at all :) When you first begin, in my opinion it's a good idea to use padding. Learning the technique at the beginning is hard enough without adding more pain than necessary :)

  • @narniaprincess05 for example, I never used padding even on my first day, I just went along naturally

  • @yaoi123456 Well, yes it does hurt, but we wear toe pads to protect our toes.

  • very nice :) your shoes are lovely, are they Capezios?

  • i almost wana say they dont look like they fit right

  • i like the way u say that ur trying them on lol

  • what kind of pointe shoes are they

  • capezios'

  • i really like your shoes, what are they?

  • Considering the fact that I haven't started pointe yet (my first class is next week xD) I dunno how important my opinion on this.. rather old video is, but I'd say that was rather nice work. What kind were they? I have Grishko 2007s myself. Just got em approved by my instructor.

  • I am just starting 2 I go to foorestwood were do you go ?

  • Cute feet and nice dress

  • My Pointe Shoes Are Slightly Too Small And I Have A Dance Audition-Type-Thing In A Few Days And I'm Gonna Have To Wear Them - OUCH :S

Btw - Very Good Work :D

  • I think you need to practice your echappes but apart from that, your brilliant!

  • work on ur arch

  • ADOREI SAPATILHAS LINDAS PASSOS PERFEITOS!,MUZICA LEGAL ADOREI SE VIDEO.

  • i like your shoes. you have very nice feet. you are better than me when i first tried

  • great job:) just make sure to get all the way up on the box!!!! otherwise, wonderful:) don't listen to the people on here...they're just jealous;)

  • aww how pretty! my what brand are yours? mine are Chacott.. i have tiny feet :3

  • @zoeybanana57 its dangerous to practice by yourself, and also if they are your friends pointe shoes then they will not fit correctly to your feet. and ten is very young to go on pointe because your not grown all the way or even halfway so you can screw up your feet. I advise waiting until a teacher puts you on pointe and if you go to a studio with a nine year old on pointe..thats probably no the best studio.

  • they look broken in

  • the skirt is annoying. ur pointe shoes are pretty :)

  • i just got mine today i didnt break them yet any suggestions/?

  • lol it looks like your dancing on a bridge because the floor is moving, i can't wait to get en pointe.

  • what make are your pointe shoess?

    great pointe work :)

  • are you on point shoes yet?????

  • Helloo - You are actually amazing at this i dont know very much apbout pointe work because im only young but i loved watching you do this it was great

The people saying bad things about it are being completely silly - i dont know one single bad point to make because there isnt!

Im 13 in a few days and i go to theatre school - drama dance singing etc

I love ballet especially with pointes - is there a certain age you have to be to do pointes?

    Please Reply

Well done your actually amazing :) x

  • very good pointe work love it

  • r u holding on to something

  • La musique n'est pas adaptée… dommage… =/

  • how can you use piointe without toe pad :|

    i has to be painful i guess:S

  • hehe i do llove your moving floor!!! and your feet and legs are gorgeous! this shows even though your shes arent broken in.(: great job

  • how do u normally break in pointe shoes? anything special? i was told to put a wet cloth over the part on top that is where the tie strings are to make the mold to my feet? when i wear the ouch pouch they are so tight it kills me /they say this isnormal? im open to anyones opinion? i just started dancing enpointe /prepointe/ so my strength is not all it should be so plz be nice thanks

  • @stacylivetodance1 maybe they're too small fitted :O That's quite a shame for your fitter :)

  • beautiful tutu :) and you're very good considering you haven't broken into them yet!!

  • she is good ! x good arch

  • they look quite well broken in already. it supports your arc. :)

  • You are very good, especially for not brekaing in the shoes yet. Come on people, give her a break. This is one of the best pointe video I've seen with new shoes.

  • wow

  • wow no padding ??? doesnt that hurt???? a girl in my dance school doesnt use padding , i call her Super Feet ..lol :-)

  • dude why's your floor moving? pointe is so pretty :) I can't wait till I can do pointe work. good job :)

  • doesn't hurt this???

  • How many yrs have you been en pointe?

  • spring floor boards?

  • i just got my pointe shoes to! Dont they hurt! =D

  • hey, umm im 11 and i just started ballet but how long does it usually take to be able to go on point shoes?

  • @keilamarie1010 well its really depends on your teachers after class you can ask then what you can do improve to get to pointe

  • @keilamarie1010 hey dont worry you can just buy a pair and ask your teacher how to se them or practise on your own like me i brought a pair of ebay and watch people do it on here then copy

  • @keilamarie1010

I think it depends on the strength of your feet and arches

    :)

  • my toes are broken !!!!!!! see what you have done POINT SHOES!!!!!!!

  • I LOVE to dance! Good technique, with this I am sure that you will break them in very quickly! Were you in a sauna? Heheheh nice if you were. Remember to keep your knees tight and straight! Very good for your first time on these shoes i've been on pointe for about 9 months and i love it!

  • ballet is beautiful!

you look so graceful in ur movements!

    but uh, the floor?

  • lolz ur floor is-a movin... :)

  • No toe pads into your pointe shoes? You are a brave and strong ballerina! :)

  • your feet look amazing in them (even not broken in) :D

    how old are youu ?

  • te estabas sujetando al mueble cuando dabas las piruetas!! intenta fijar un punto de apoyo!! lo sé soy bailarina!

  • Ballet

  • can you watch my first pointe video? and give me some tips? thanks :)

  • Thats good compared to me, altough this is my first year and im just a kid!

  • Well done for your first time!

The next time you do a video where you wearing a sweet white tutu and gorgeous pink pointe shoes, don't ruin it with some disgusting R&B in the background. Ugh.

  • make sure that youre pointing your feel all the time when your on your shoes. it looks like you are sitting in yours slightly which is making the shank at the balls of your feet bubble away from your foot. that makes it hard to get fully over you box. so make sure to point your toes too!! keep dancing!!!!!

  • beautiful shoes, ur gooood, most people forget to roll their feet.

when did u get ur pointe shoes?

  • your shanks seem a little hard.

  • nice turn out (:

    Good work out!

  • great arches!!! see if you can point your toes more. it'll help you get more on your box (though it might just be the strength of the new shoes)

  • @HustonBalletLevel8 She can wear a tutu if she wants. }:P

  • No Ouch Pouches? You brave soul! :D

  • omg! they look so pretty! i kinda what 2 take ballet, but im trying a really nice/good school 2 learn it in

  • your floor is moving!! hahah

  • @ellehowlett yeah lol

  • its super hard to point ur feet in unbroken pointe shoes but i see it too

  • My new shows are elastic, but i need exersices to training my feets becouse i start now ,dancin on pointe can you help me?

  • beautiful.

  • pretty feet

  • oooo. you need elastic on your shoes.

    ribbons dont support much

  • i got a point shoes now it's capezio glisse

  • your shoes are very pretty. You have very good technique

  • thank you for your nice comment on my video's ad you tube ;-) kind regard kiki

  • You need to put on your elastic! Also, improve your balance a bit. But its very good!

  • How old are you?

  • her channel says 33

  • Wow, that's cool!

How long have you been dancing for?

    I'm 24 and I just started!

  • For all the people going "You'll break the floor" I think it's probably a proper wooden floor for dancing, that is springy. My dance studio floor is like that.

  • I THINK YOUR GONNA BRAKE YOUR FLOOR LOL

  • i love ballet point! im wareing my shoes right now lol :-)

  • your floor is moving

  • oh ya your emusic is totaly ballet

  • i am 13 years old and i started ballet when i was 11 and i go to learn for one month only but now i want to buy point shoes but i cant find it in the shops because i am from Egypt and there isn't lots of Egyptians learn ballet and i want to know

if i learn to point now that will be easy or hard?

  • it really depends on your strength and training. train longer then you think you need to and do lots of strengthening. when I was training for my pointe shoes, I would always try to do at least a hundred releves every day, or more. I would do them standing at the grocery store, or I would stand at the counter at home and do them while reading. it really gets you extra strength.

if you don't have time to do a hundred then just try doing 32, then holding in eleve for 32 counts.

  • Her pointes seem small because she hasn't broken them in yet. They stretch out after a few wears. This goes for pretty much all porperly fitted footwear. So it's actually a good thing that she didn't get a bigger pair.

  • beautiful job but try to get on the box

  • wow. scary floor ! but very good, be sure to get into yuur boxes, but otherwise very good ;)

  • your not all the way on your boxes, but your still really good!

  • pretty good. try to stay on those boxes a little bit more. i know it's hard because they ar brand new shoes. trust me i know how that feels. haha. good job though. ♥

  • awesome, what kind of pointe shoes are they, and where are u as in why does the floor move?

your good and also, I love ur skirt, tiz pretty!

  • BEAUTIFUL!

  • Nice turn out and footwork. What kind of shoes are they? Defintately get elastics sewn on them for more support:)

  • That is a wood floor that moves when a dancer lands, preventing shin splits.

  • get elastics! they'll give you more support

  • Give her a break! Jesus, she said, "These are me brand new pointe shoes, FIRST TIME TODAY"!!! THEY ARE NOT BROKEN IN!!! Why do all of you ballet snobs think you are qualified to judge other people's ballet??? You are all nobody's, same as her!! I bet the reason you guys spend so much time critiquing other people is because you all suck!!! If you are actually dedicated, you would be training right now.

  • thx for your support.. love to dance you to?

  • @sweetsugarpurple couldn't agree more :L x

  • @sweetsugarpurple I THINK that her shoes look like they are already broken in because her feet are so...so...beautiful! Imagiine what it would look like actually broken in? BEAUTIFUL EVEN MORE! Oh by the way I'm not en pointe so I wouldn't be training.

  • first of all ur arches terrible second the floors moving creepy

  • good job, work on your arch to help you get onto your box more :)

  • my pre pointe teacher said that it is better to have good arches going into pointe. pointe more please it doesnt look like you are

  • Yeah question, I thought that was your dance studio. Why does the floor move????

  • lol the wood floors are like moving up and down everytime she does something. (:

  • Rofl! what do you class as 'the traditional way' :L

  • u can tie laces really fast lol

  • throughout the whole video your floorboards are moving it's really quite amuzing!

  • It looks like they have sprung hardwood floors, which are quite good to dance on.

These floors give when a dancer lands, and they help prevent injuries that would happen with other floors (such as shin splints).

  • lol i know!

  • Comment removed

  • no u dont. shoe pads are more for comfort. u dont HAVE to have them unless you want them, which you probably do. pros dont wear pads

  • you look good even though yours arent broken in

  • on my fav

  • haha great gob! i'm sure you will be amazing once the pointes break in. lol your floor is moving....OOHH BOOGYMAN

  • cant really tell cuz of skirt but your turnout looks very good. but you do need to get over your boxx.

  • your amazing!

  • r u holing on to something well that doesent matter ur great love the new pointes

  • next time you should try grishko fouette proflex

  • Looks like your bourree could stand to be tighter, but you're great!

  • I am getting my point shoes and i am only ten so I CANT WAIT! it in July 13th SO I CANT WAIT and dont u have toe buns cause my friend says its reaally helpful

  • @meme6004 you are going to ruin your feet, i'm sorry but youre 10 and your feet havent stopped growing.
