If we follow Memfians train of thought but leave out the term muslim, then we can say that once a land has been conquered, it now belongs to the conqueror. The Ottoman Empire conquered and took Israel along with many other lands, the Brits conquered the Ottoman Empire and carved up their empire giving the Middle East back to the Arabs and Israel back to the Jews.
