  • Great advertisement!

  • Ron Paul is one dangerous dude! I LOVE IT!!! Call me crazy because I'm voting for "Da Man!"

  • Nothing gets the message across like a good typography. Ron Paul 2012, no other candidate, no other choice.

  • The states need to start taking care of themselves & the federal government need to take care at our crumbling infrastructure.

  • @FredEFuego Individuals need to start taking care of themselves and stop relying on those of us who work to grow their food, produce their clothes, and build their houses. It is the job of no government, federal or state, to take care of you. It is the duty of governments to stop people from robbing, raping, or murdering you. Now, the government is the one doing the robbing, raping, and murdering because they have too much power!

  • ha i love this commercial but im not so sure its gonna sway any votes from the other candidates. you kinda gotta explain to people why getting rid of these departments is necessary.

  • Ron Paul DO IT! Hahaha hell yea... RON PAUL 2012 DO IT!!

  • Where's the wall explosion at the end?!?! Fucking Austrian economics baby!

  • Yes, Yes, Yes, The chamber of commerce is one of the worst departments out there. They are scum bag pro-corporate interests completely partisan wastes of space. Fire every single one of those selfish animals.

  • So you're going to take a ways thousands of jobs to fix the economic crisis?

  • @tmrbass They're public sector jobs mate. You pay for them to fuck up the way people in the private sector produce wealth.

  • @tmrbass I stand on my feet for ten hours a day wiring relays. The jobs that will be removed are useless and a waste of tax dollars. Go vote for Romney if you want to keep the jobs. If you want to assist in having a country that doesn't go to war every three months, then vote for Paul. Paul will not win, so I look forward to meeting you in Iran.

  • @tmrbass Govenment paid jobs are not really contributing to the economy as the money to fund those jobs comes from the GOVERNMENT and OUR taxes. Private sector jobs is where freedom is. By cutting the government jobs eliminating the taxes he will boost private sectors jobs, and erase all the jobs that were totally and completely reliant on the government.

    Period.

  • Department of energy is useless amd education is ineffective. He is not cutting the EPA so I guess this would be okay.

  • i love this ad- The best idea ever cut the department of eduction then have even smarted people in the white house- ohh sorry, dumber people in the white house- im from the future and did not go to shool

  • @luke8628 What's wrong with the states handling public education? Better yet, the free-market.

  • Awww shit, Ron paul #1 badass politician gonna take these other suckas to town with a freight truck and 2 big wrecking balls.

    This ad cracks me up.

  • Vote vermin supreme!!!!

  • Love Ron Paul but I think this commercial should have had explained that the Department of Education is a national department not a state department. When you show an image of the Department of Education going poof it sets people back. I agree with what his political platform is completely, I just don't like this commercial.

  • all 80 of Rick Perry's supporters disliked this because he couldn't remember which departments he "was" going to cut.

  • 80 members from those departments disliked this video

  • I'm voting Ron Paul 2012!

  • @HorusNoon If he gets the nomination, you mean?

  • Dr Ron Paul has my vote i find it important to inform you. this is the first presidential election Ive been eligible to vote for. Dr Ron Paul is the only candidate to successfully obtain young voters, Democrats, and independent voters without any outside force or funds from lobbyists. The only constitutionally principled candidate and true patriot gos by the name of Dr Ron Paul.

  • lol funny ad :D

  • Prior to the DoE ths US was 7th in the world in education. When the DoE came in and the federal government started interfering in what kids learn the US dropped to 33rd in the world.

  • Department for Education... GONE

    Yay! Wait, what?

  • @blibbax The Federal dept, not the states dept of ed. we dont need both

in Fact I think my district/city/county could get along w/o the state one, but the feds a start & Maybe the state dept's OK, we dont need washington DC on the east coast butting into so Cal though, so save that money

  • @ncwdane So, to be clear, are you proposing independent education services in every state, and possibly in every school? That doesn't sound very wise. But w/e, I'm not even from the U.S., so maybe things are very different over there.

  • @blibbax I'm Ok w/ the state dept. of education

we just dont need the federal dept. & I was just pointing out Local Unified districts could survive & Maybe even do better if it was left entirly just upto them,

I'm sure my county has well over 100 schools & my district has one ofb the best unified districs w/ over 10 High schools & even more JR highs & Elementary schools,

Our state capitol is over 8 hours drive away

  • @blibbax its a good thing , every highschool (and middle school) and Elementary school that isn't involved with the department of education (voucher schools , various private schools etc) have higher grade point averages from their students ...higher graduation rates ... spend less money per student (nearly 40-50% less in most cases) and higher rates of HS kids being employed after HS AND or Getting accepted into Colleges. More government in education doesn't help anything.

  • @blibbax furthermore , since the department of ed was created The cost of education has risen dramatically. Drop out rates increased and the quality of education has decreased dramatically. Dumping more money into education has failed this isn't up for debate ..and making sure u can't fire teachers who under perform because they are apart of public unions doesn't seem to help either (Shocker huh?) Increased involvement from Government in education has totally failed.

  • i want to go buy a truck now

  • The More your government spends, The less YOU do.

RP 2012- Get the country moving again...

  • I am done with "Politics as usual". In November 2012, I will be voting for Ron Paul even if I have to write him in.

  • Everyone in the department of education just said "Fuck!"

  • Ron Paul cuts the budget as fast as KENYANS. Actual KENYANS.

  • @LordPandiora He's delivered so many babies. FOUR THOUSAND BABIES.

  • one of the best ron paul ad EVER!!!! this man has my vote, it either that or vote someone else in and i'd put money on the country imploding if that happens. ron paul 2012

  • This guy is a beast! If i was an american, i would vote for him.

  • A bit over-the-top. I hope this ad doesn't turn people off.

  • @SteinUndStahl666 I respectfully disagree, Hes been Screaming his views for 30 years just to be ignored, It's about time his campaign turned into badass mode! :3

  • God, I love ron paul, but this is such an awful ad. IF this is what it takes to get him elected, I'd rather just stick with obama

  • @Retsaot34 What are you talking about "IF this is what it takes" its just an add that says what he will do if he is elected into office, its just a little bit different then his other ones.

  • Thats just a dumb thing to say

  • @Retsaot34 your part of the problem...nobama is a liar..

  • cool

  • WHY THE HATE FOR SHIH-TZUS THEY ARE GOOD DOGS

  • Ron Paul 2012!!!!

  • Ron Paul for president, he is our last hope!

  • Im not American but im taking an interest anyway and im so split on ron paul. On the one hand there is no doubt that he is one of the most genuine candidates but how can you take away state education? I like his ideas on taking away the discusting Partiot Act and removing the police state but he dosnt beleive in protecting his citizens with univercial healthcare. Having said that, if America is going to have a new president i hope its someone who isnt going to invade a country for oil...

  • @thingy777

Department of Education is a national department, not a state department which means that education will be left up to the state. Universal healthcare is great and all, but with this massive debt we wont be able to maintain it. Perhaps when the Debt goes down after a year by $1 trillion universal healthcare would be a possibility especially when no foreign aid would be given and no military intervention would be a good benefit

  • this ad is hysterical :)

  • Either bite the bullet now and fix it or face total collapse later, which will be even worse than losing five federal agencies, which are typically highly inefficient and top heavy anyway.

  • I really like Ron Paul, but I think saying he's gonna cut spending by 1 trillion is risky. I will more than likely be voting for him.

  • @menishizawa I completely disagree because when it comes to simple rights guaranteed by our constitution we should always use the Federal authority for basic rights. Both the fourteenth and fifth amendments require that if a person is a person (unless you believe in murdering non-citizens) that due process is required for any action against them. Paul's position on abortion is non-existent if he considers the fetus as a person. I think he has a false position on abortion if you'd consider that.

  • This add is totaly awesome

however, if u actualy listened to the add and knew what the consequences were....

we're going back 200 years in time...consumer protection? boom! Gone

    Unions? Boom! Gone

    Social security? Boom! Gone

Environmental protection rules and regulations? Boom! Gone

Education for the poor? Boom! Gone

Thats all the bad, Ron's got good idea's too, like actualy slashing the budget and reducing military. But his austerity sets america back 200 years. Goodluck Ron Paulers!

  • @BrutusAlbion

I'm just going to hit one one thing here, education for the poor gone? How the hell do you figure on that. There is no such thing as being too poor to go to school. I grew up poor as fuck and the bus came by my house. I got on it and went to school. My parents bought me basic supplies "paper, pencils, folders" for roughly $10. Secondly, states run education.. No sense in a bureaucracy running a bureaucracy...

  • @Maj227 Fine by me man, I dont live in america anyway, in my country you can opt to go to a private school or public school. But somehow the public schools are always cheaper and on average better if not just as good as private schools. The only reason to go to a private school is so you have luxurious accomodation (think: sauna, pool, workout facilities, psychologists)

Maybe your system is just broken.

  • I have a 12 inch cock...but its not nearly big as Grandpa Ron's.

  • Its Trillion...with a T!

  • You Americans better not screw this up, make sure Ron Paul gets elected! Otherwise the U.S. will fall and the Chinese will rule the world in a few decades..

  • Fixed it.

  • I am voting for Ron Paul and think this is a good way to get people's attention. I work with technical people who are very intelligent when it comes to Telecom issues but very naive about social or financial issues. This commercial would be a good way to get their attention. For instance one of my coworkers says Ron is crazy. Is it crazy to follow the constitution, cut govt spending, allow people freedom of choice, and believe in science, logic, and facts.

  • Ron Paul will cost Americans millions of jobs. That is a fact. He wants to remove all the controls that keep big businesses in check. Let them run wild. See what happens.

Business without regulation is like people without the cops. Sooner or later crimes happen and there is NOBODY to stop it. That is what you will get if you vote for Ron Paul.

  • @vollyman1962 if by jobs u mean illegal drug dealers and sex traffickers, then yes...he will cost the illegal drug dealers and sex traffickers their jobs.

  • @kingkyzr im sure the cia will find other things to make their money..and the zionists will have to move somewhere else to traffik in sex...lol!!

  • @vollyman1962 Hope you like Chinese welfare then.

  • @THAT1ANONYMOUSDUDE Chinese don't have welfare LOL it's a totally different system :P (person that has friends in China who are actually quite well off)

  • @vleidrums Then I guess you probably understand why I said that now.

  • 66 Dislikes ? Obama is that you ?

  • He's legislated on the federal level for abortion controls. Please see previous post.

  • @rexbreed No, hes legislated to not steal money from people to pay for abortions. And to return it to a state issue, so Massachusetts can murder all the babies they want, while South Dakota wont have to.

  • @kirby4d He has a contradictory stance period.

  • @rexbreed That's only if you believe that those unborn babies have no rights.

  • @nyconepiece only if you say that the way you define person means a person can't have rights :-)

  • @rexbreed So give them a choice to op-out of medicare and end the war on drugs. Who's the one trying to stop the government from giving up our rights for "security"? He sounds very pro-choice to me. But of course, he's not going to force these ideas on you and allows anyone to speak what they want without censoring anyone. It's your choice in the end.

  • Comment removed

  • @rexbreed Sorry I misstated, I meant to say op-out of social security. Here a quote from Ron Paul. "For every friend you make you lose another". When we form alliances with other countries we create enemies as well. Why do we need to take sides? Why can't we have friendly relations with all countries and trade with them? Ron Paul has a much needed budget plan that cuts $1 trillion dollars. We are embarking on a unsustainable road. That why I decided to roll with Ron Paul.

  • Comment removed

  • @rexbreed How do you define a person? I define it as human and alive. Anything else runs into all kinds of complications like people in vegetative states, mentally handicapped, etc. The idea is, people have the right to dictate by vote the type of locality they want to live in. The more invasive a law is, the more local it should be.

  • Here's our next savior, stalling the sheep so they buy into this broken un-repairable system for another four years. People need to wake the fuck up already.

  • HOLY. SHIT.

  • Yea I think it is Paul Turner he is a Voice over sound guy That the Big radio stations use

  • I really hope that Americans wake up and see, that this is the guy they need to get their country back on track, by voting for him.

    Greetings from Denmark

  • @MrFails4you you are kidding right? besides the total awesomeness of his advertisement, do u reaaaaaaaaaaly want to see department of education gone? He means to destroy every subsidy and every educational institute funded by the government. If education was so much better and efficient under a private system, why did nobody attend it or properly make use of it before it became gov-institutionalized and resulted in the largest wealth increase for the middle-class EVER....

  • @BrutusAlbion lol , the department of education didn't have any hand int he "largest wealth increase for the middle class EVER!" ... in fact the Department of Education has done nothing but dump tax payer money into the education system with ZERO positive results. The money the DoE spends comes from where ? its printed genius ..which hurts WHO the most? The middle class...i hate idiots perhaps u should have went to a private school or a voucher school ..they spend less per student

  • Nice man-step lol!

    Ron Paul 2012

  • He comes with a 300,000 mile/3 year Powertrain warranty too.

  • @husayn1972 lol! nice one man check out my comment

  • @ marcellodigerlando, the money issue was a big issue for me, but it seems the middle man gets cut and the schools get a bigger chunk than they did before, or atleast I hope that's what happens. I hope he doesn't let us down like Obama did with all the promises and such. Ron Paul for president 2012!!

  • I'm tired of this race, it's a fraud and is rigged and I'm just evolving into a conspiracy theorist from this crap. Ron Paul is getting screwed every which way. I just posted a video I'll VR THIS with it. If you are tired of this crap watch my commentary.

  • @jojo191519 He means he wants to scrap the Federal Department of Education, and let each state run their own schools.

  • what does it mean "department of education, Gone" ? im fairly sure we need a department of education. can someone please explain this to me

  • i hope he wins. fix this fuck up counrty and by fuck up i mean fox news.

  • I'm a supporter of Dr. Paul, but I don't know if I like this ad....

  • god damn, dude's a badass!

  • After seeing this ad and seeing he wants to cut HUD... ya, kinda want to kick his (beep) but don't want to get (beep) on my shoes!

  • @WarriorInnkeeper You're angry that he wants to eliminate the government agency that oversees home mortgage lending practices? Even though HUD had 138 administration officials investigated, indicted, or convicted during the Reagan administration for rigging and it is rife with corruption?

  • Comment removed

  • @GrowTheTruth Um... ya I'm angry! If it weren't for HUD my family and I would have been homeless when I was a child due to circumstances out of our control. I would agree that HUD may need some reform but eliminating a program which allowed my brothers and I to have a roof over our head, I don't think so.

  • @WarriorInnkeeper I understand where you get your ideas but it doesn't make them right. HUD is like fixing something with duct tape. There is clearly a structural flaw in the system we have today and HUD is just another temporary patch to keep people defending the system. Hence "if it wasn't for HUD". Let me throw this at you, suppose communities had a system where you could walk right to the town office and walk out with a check and a service to be performed for the community

  • @WarriorInnkeeper I'm not going to say that HUD is all bad. They have helped some families, but they have also scammed and hurt many other families.

While I understand that it is personal and that the program may have helped you then, HUD may be what's available in the current system, but the system Ron is suggesting would allow for better alternatives, that don't give leeway for corruption the way HUD does.

  • Never thought it would be possible to make a 76 year old man look badass.

  • Ahh, I just found the post @joshua1auhsoj was replying to. Ok, here's where you have to take a careful look at free market applications to the real world. Again referencing Adam Smith, Smith did include a bit in his writings about the actual applications of a free market in the real world. And yes, he did realize that there would be people who would break the system for their benefit, and becuase of this, he realized that a limited (limited!) amount of government interference might be necessary.

  • Im unsure of what @joshua1auhsoj is replying to (I hope Im not about to have a bout of foot-in-mouth here), but he's right. Adam Smith, as in, Wealth of Nations, father of the free market Adam Smith, labled monopolies as destructive and counter to a truely free economy. People who truely support a free market system dont (or at least shouldnt) be for supporting or creating monopolies.

  • This commercial reminds me of a ford commercial.... i like ford commercials.... ya

  • I Think I Actually Give A Shit About Our Nation Now

  • Is this a parody advert?

  • @hhwha1 ....Not hardly....he means business. Ron Paul...2012.

  • i might just switch from democrat to republican! srsly

  • for some reason I can't stop watching this. Ron Paul you have my vote! You're the only GOP candidate I trust and you'd be a great leader for our country.

  • Ron Paul 2012!

  • @GregariousGorilla that's what I've been thinking for a while.

  • @Syborious, what would happen to the funds the government gives to school? Would this include college or just k-12 schools? And is there anyway we can discuss this matter other than YouTube?

  • @MajorVolkin The federal money now going to schools would be funneled through the states instead. schools still get tax payer money just not from the feds.

  • @marcellodigerlando Remember, the Feds get their money from the taxpayers. We will just be cutting out the middle man.

  • Chuck Norris should endorse Ron Paul it would EPIC

    (Like this if you support)

  • @GregariousGorilla He already did : ) the video is on YouTube.

  • @GregariousGorilla actually chuck norris does support ron paul... look it up, pretty cool huh lol

  • Republicans and Democrats must UNITE under the only man who can save America. RON PAUL!!!!

  • NOW DROP AND GIVE ME FIFTY!!!!!!!!!!!

  • vote for ron paul just like i will and im a democrat

    ron paul 2012

  • Comment removed

  • how do libertarians propose we keep monopolies from forming without any sort of government intervention? Seems like we would just go back to a feudal system.

  • @ljp7c4 Google it! You will find the answer and I guarantee it will make a whole lot of sense.

  • @ljp7c4 Actually government creates monopolies not the market. The term monopoly comes from the 17th century era of Mercantilism. Kings and queens would accept bribes from businesses in order to grant them exclusive rights to sell goods in a certain area. In a free market system consumer choice stops monopolies from forming. competing business will always underbid them.

  • @ljp7c4 Show me the free market monopoly that has caused prices to increase five fold rather than decrease five fold. I'm not able to find a single example of this. But it is very easy to find plenty of examples of government created monopolies that raise their prices. When the government outlaws competition then monopolies can raise their prices without worry of losing their marketshare.

  • @ljp7c4 If monopolies are bad, then it would hardly make sense to argue for the most giant monopoly of all (which is the government) to some how be a solution to the problem. businesses that are to inefficient to compete have simply fabricated this notion of evil free market monopolies so that they can get the government to intervene and create a true monopoly for themselves. It is not the freedom of markets we need to be afraid of, but rather the coercive hand of the government.

  • I can't believe anyone would take this guy seriously! I'm just glad youtube commenters don't represent the majority of americans!

  • Ron recently sent out an email to people who signed up for his email updates that called for a HUGE moneybomb on December 16 and even said:

"But, to be frank, if we don't have a big day on December 16, we'll have to cut back. "

Thumb this up so people can get the message that we have to contribute to this man's campaign on December 16 in order to keep this commercial on the air and Ron's name in public in Iowa!

  • I can't tell if I just watched a campaign ad or a Ford commercial.

  • What exactly is so different about Ron Paul that makes everyone want to vote him in?

  • @33vampires33 he wants to end all wars immediately, he wants to abolish the federal reserve and several other ineffective agencies, he wants to abolish the IRS, he wants to cut spending. Also, he's the only politician who has never changed his views just to get votes. He has always told the truth, and the people are sick of dishonest politicians, they want something new.

  • @33vampires33 Ron Paul is consistent in his views. He's the only candidate that takes the oath of office seriously. Newt Gingrich, a candidate that raises similar issues to Ron Paul's, but that's about it. Newt Gingrich is a flip flopper, the type of candidate that will change his views to get more votes. Ron Paul not only raises issues, he also provides solutions. When he gets elected, you can be assured that he'll keep his promises and not flip flop.
