one thing the hop up thing when u put it in i believe if u lift the feed cover you can see a little slit were the slit on the hopup goes into and all you have to do is line them up andits alot easier to put back in

you could just pull the spring out when your done to be sure but i dont think there is a spring tension release lever... if there isnt thats what im going to do... hehe im getting it tomarro!!!

all saw's are supposed to have one, but i dont know about the echo 1. Maybe you could tell us now that you have one.

no there is no spring tension release button, but its very easy to remove the spring. and i tested it to see if i could dry fire it to be in the forward position, but no matter what there was allways 3-5 lbs of pressure... but to wrap it all up just take the spring out when your done!

they dont "rebrand" guns they take the same parts from SOME of the same companys and put their name on it. its not a a&k all the way through, some parts mabey. but im sure it has some of all of the m249 manufactures parts. oh and yes it has a spring release
