i hope you didn't be offended because i asked you who is Allah. i know who is Allah alhamdulilah. khi, people know that Allah is the creator and they know that He's the only one who has the right to be worship, but they don't have tawheed assma wa siffat in their heart. if you want people to love Allah, then focus your lectures on tawheed assma wa siffat.

if you just want to give people some knowledge that they can use to argue with people then do as you please.

Akhee, I have delivered lectures on that topic. Further, did Allaah only reveal of knowledge that which concerns His names and attributes or did he reveal other aspects of knowledge? Are we to learn some and abandon others? Is this what the messenger of Allaah did? Did he not teach people Halaal and Haraam besides telling them about Allaah? Who do I follow?

I wanted to finish school and get my bachelor but it's costing me insane amounts of money. I decided not to finish and pay all the student loans with my own personal credit then declare personal bankruptcy. I won't have my bachelor and my credit "rating" will be severely damaged but I will no longer be consuming Riba. Inshallah

@bionichampster I'm sorry but your way of thinking doesn't make sense. You can take time off school, work, pay your debt and then go back. Why you want to just quit forever? Doesn't your education have any value to you? If you declare bankrupcy you will never be able to buy a house in the future....and to be quite honest what you plan to do is just lazy. Instead of paying with credit and declaring bankrupcy, you must find a job and pay your debt little by little. Take your responsibilities

salam brother jazak allah khair for this lecture. when i first started practicing islam i wanted to grow my beard but my parents forbade me to do so because they told me i would be "targeted" by non muslims. i really want to fallow the sunnah but i feel that my parents only open their eyes when i talk about how riba is haram or how i try to fallow sunnah they wake up and start to tell me to not do it. do you have any advice about this issue?
