  • Jesus said to give joyfully and generously--and most people in our country, even those who call themselves Christians, do not do enough of this--but He did not say to steal from those who are working hard to provide for their own families and give to those lazy bums who refuse to work. Socialism is a bust--it has never worked, and it never will.

Jesus would not have been a republican, but he would not have been a democrat--he would've been King, if Israel had repented and turned to Him.

  • JESUS NOT ONLY EXISTS....HE IS THE REAL POWER!

  • I LOVE this guy!

  • Ok.. you are the best.... subscribing right now.

    Thanks for the good work.

    Love it.

  • boehner needs to lighten up on the eyeliner

  • If God lived on earth republicans would throw rocks at his house.

  • ur cool

  • I have a magnet on my fridge:

"C'mon! Would Jesus really own a gun and vote republican?"

  • I think the point of this COMEDY is to point out that all the things that the so-called Religious Right condemn Obama for, are things that Jesus would have probably done... Examples: Associating with sinners, loving his enemies and turning the other cheek, being a commnunity organizer, not hording up riches for himself, not passing judgment on others, and not being a religious Pharisee zealot. The so-called Christian Right do not do WJWD.

  • So well put. I'm glad a Communist like OBAMA realizes Jesus Christ is already "THE" supreme court. Judgement will come soon enough. Believe it or Not...

  • Actually, there are probably about 100M people Obama would likely nominate first because their views are more like his.

And, of course, the liberal Democrats in the Senate would line up against Christ's nomination, citing:

    - His opposition to abortion

    - Troubling views on church/state

    - Homophobia

    - Belonging to an all-male club (the Temple)

  • Good points, except:

    Christ never mentioned abortion

    Christ never mentioned homosexuality

Christ said, "Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesars, and unto God the things that are Gods", which is exactly what the separation of church and state does.

    So, nice try.

  • However, he did say that he upheld the law of the Old Testament, which mentions homosexuality and abortion (Thou Shalt Not Kill). Some of his apostles do mention homosexuality.

He did note that there are things of the world and things of God, but he didn't suggest that Caesar could decide what is Eternally right.

  • Great, now show me where he says he "upholds the law" in the old testament, and if Jesus does uphold "the law" in the Old Testament, does he believe that eating shellfish is sinful,or wearing two clothes of different fabric, or the other crazy stuff in the OT? Calling abortion "killing" is debatable at best, and the bible quite clearly never specified it.The idea behind the separation of church and state has nothing to do with the state deciding what is "eternally right". You make no sense.

  • yea, the old testament was crazy. your god wanted to smell the burning flesh of doves, lamb, and oxen. He also had a number of people killed for petty things like working on the sabbath or being gay.

  • Listen, chimp-boy, I'm a Republican and even I think you're an idiot.

  • You are probably as Republican as Colon Bowel.

  • Son, you are entitled to be only so stupid and you are miles over the line. America is a nation, not a chew toy puppies fight over. Find yourself another country.

  • So True!

  • Didn't you hear? He was the one who briefed Nancy Pelosi...

  • Most excellent! Keep up the good work! LMFAO!

  • Jesus has some very liberal, almost socialist, positions on the redistribution of loaves and fishes, *for free*. Additionally, his free healing of the sick and crippled shows troubling support for free public health care.

  • you are out of your mind

  • shows u the hyposcracy of the "conservative christians"

    would jesus be a conservative?

  • its called charity of free will. he didnt say govt to tax the heck out of people and give to them.

  • Matthew 22:15-22. In short, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's."

It's only in the lazy bloated American version of Christianity where "Christians" act like Ananias and Sapphira, and fiercely cling to the fleeting possessions of this world. No man can serve two masters, what matters more to you, your money or your soul?

  • the two are not mutually exclusive. you can have wealth and be a good christian. it is not the size of your pocketbook that matters.

  • Yeah, there's no part of the Bible where it says "fiercely cling to your worldly possessions and oppose taxes", sorry.

"More Easily Shall a camel pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man into the kingdom of heaven"

If you're a wealthy Christian, odds are you aren't following Matthew 25:35-45. It's more likely that you just pass by the needy like a Pharisee.

  • salvation is for everyone. besides god only asks for ten percent. what makes the govt more important that it asks for upwards of 50 percent?.

  • God's infrastructure is up-to-date.

  • Actually God asks for 100%...the earth is the Lord's and EVERYTHING in it.

  • the lord says we should be good stewards of the earth. the ten percent was concerning the tithing of your wages.

  • yes in the bible says not to commit murder and plenty do it and call themsleves following god ya right

  • You're right in that greed causes many to stumble. But, David, Job, Abraham, etc were praised for their virtue and blessed in worldly things. They were NOT then told they had to give it all away to still be considered righteous. They were pre-Christ, it was still the same God at work.

The disciples were told to drop everything and follow Christ, but that was for a specific mission for a specific duration.

We need to help the needy, but not everyone with their hand out today is needy.

  • @jhammm999

The problem with having wealth and being a good Christian is that if you have wealth then you have it in the face of the poverty of others. You, in your wealth, could go online and make charitable donations to reputable organizations that work for the relief and development of third world communities which have almost nothing. If instead you use your wealth to purchase a few high-priced electronic recreational items, are you showing Christian love or merely selfishness?

  • Really nailed Jesus!

  • only the weak die on the cross

  • Well done, Andy Cobb. LOL funny! Also, I love the comment below by "halcyon083!"

  • LOL, funny shit. Good point though , no matter what Obama does Republicans are going to denounce it.

  • LOL

  • did he die?

  • Isn't that the truth. It wouldn't matter if Obama DID choose Jesus H fucking Christ the GOP will be screaming.

  • thats amazing! I really wish i could suscribe more than once! Thats so nice of you!!!

  • OMG what a funny video. Laughed my ass off.

  • Seek medical attention

  • Dang, someone stole it already.

  • cool video man, thanks

  • Oh, you don't know how much I needed that!!

  • This was spot-on hilarious. Thanks for sharing it with us. :)

  • It's completely hilarious, and I think the real reason you are annoyed is because you are a Republican and Republicans suck.

  • Hey JQisAwesome and ieatsgoats - your both F-in LOOOOOSERS>>>

  • HAHAHAHAHA love it.

  • Obama is a very humble human being.

Too bad you can only see and regurgitate what Rush tells you.

Oh and by the way, this was a satire.

  • But he doesn't, that's the point. The "Obamessiah" is a straw man argument made by republicans to explain how he could possibly have won when everybody thinks the way they do, to avoid confronting that in fact everybody does NOT think the way they do and they're in the minority, not the majority.

Obama himself has admitted more than once to mistakes, republicans only want to refer to him as the Messiah so they can then object to him being referred to as the Messiah.

  • WEIII!

  • Brilliant...and, yes, the Republicans will oppose whomever Barack nominates.

If any Repubilcan should amazingly support a nominee that person will encounter the wrath of the GOP head man, Rush Limbaugh, & immediately come to apologize to him & kiss his ass multiple times.

  • brilliant vid dude

  • I'm God my name is Jesus Christ. I have no kids. Your not funny. From here on out things won't go well for you.

  • I think if you were really Jesus Chris you'd probably be able to spell "you're" correctly.

  • Spell what?

  • There is so much that the Right ignores about their "Lord and Savior" that it is consistent with many forms psychosis.

Matthew 5 is a great place to read about everything the right turns upside down. They have an excuse for everything they butcher about Jesus.

Republicanism is a disease of the mind.

  • Video=hilarious. Love the Specter thing, love the end.

Comments by p.o.'d morons mixing up bible verses with Chinese proverbs=priceless

  • THAT"S NOT IN THE BIBLE IDIOT!

  • "Go kill yourself"?

That's very, um, Christian of you.

    NOT!

  • Simply brilliant.

  • "If any man take thy coat, give him thy cloak also." "If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me." Jesus Christ - the ORIGINAL socialist!

  • hilarious

  • Genius.

  • Only question is, does the "funny" outweigh the "sad because it's true" aspect?

    HELL, YES!!

The republican party is so fracked they can ONLY be counting on as providing humor, parody, satire, etc. - which they have honed to an art form!

  • That's terrific! nailed them right on the head. LOL

  • Pretty much sums up the repubs. This is exactly what they would do! LOL.

  • Fuckin' tight! I love it.

  • wow, again you nailed it..

  • er...did you have to say "you NAILED it"? Jesus doesn't have happy memories about nails, if you know what I mean.

  • Imagine if Jesus really existed, and came to our time.

    1. The republicans would want him put on a watch list due to his coming from the middle east.

    2. He would be branded a socialist.

    3. He would cast the evil out of Rush Limpballs, leaving nothing left of him but an empty suit, and piles of undigested pills.

    4. Republicans would want him sent to Gitmo.

    5. He would be called 'anti-American' because he didn't support republican greed and hate.

  • 6. People from the bible belt would hate him for being jewish, and claim he's a zionist.

    7. Republicans would constantly try to get him to introduce them to prostitutes.

    8. Republicans would call him a dirty hippy because of his beard and hair.

    9. Pharmaceutical companies would bribe lawyers and politicians to have him jailed for 'being unlicensed while healing the sick'.

    10. Fundies would beg him to end the world already, so all the good religious nuts can be raptured to heaven.

  • Slight correction to your list

    Number 6 would actually be:

"people from the Bible Belt would hate him for being Jewish, and denounce him for not being "Pro-Israel" enough, given his peace and reconciliation stance..

  • Lmao! This is brilliant!

  • LOL

  • It's funny 'cause it's true.

  • In a development NO ONE COULD HAVE PREDICTED...

    LMAO!

  • it would be a lot more funny if it was not true

  • LOL!

  • interesting... you really haven't read any of Jesus's teachings have you?

  • anything in particular?.

  • He said "More Easily Shall a camel pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man into the kingdom of heaven", and "blessed be the meek, for they shall inherit the Earth".

Doesn't sound like a "tax cuts for the rich & sterilize the welfare mothers" kinda guy.

That, and you probably wouldn't like Him since He's Jewish and Palestinian.

  • It doesn't specify where that everlasting life would be lived, does it?

  • heaven.

  • John 3:16 doesn't say anything about heaven.

  • "That, and you probably wouldn't like Him since He's Jewish and Palestinian. "

LMAO. You win the internets for this rebuttal. Clever.

  • Andy you are just amazing.

  • If thats not bad enough-this Jesus guy is also a huge SOCIALIST!

  • Yeah and he wears dresses, and hangs around with 12 guys all the time!

  • Dude you're funny.

No matter who gets nominated, this is going down.

  • HILARIOUS

  • Brilliant, as usual.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA

    "Say Anything" style

  • LOL! You know the Republicans are gonna bitch and complain the moment Obama announces his pick for Supreme Court.

  • They're already doing it.
