I use the same little bucket for my dryer lint, LOL! It's so handy.

How's the floor holding up? I have the same closet style laundry room and I'm stuck with an ugly brown vinyl floor. This would be a great temporary solution while we save to replace the flooring.

@BobbyandKenzie so far the flooring is great! I'd imagine if you start moving your washer/dryer around then it might tear etc. but so far I haven't even had to re-stick anything!

just an idea to make things a little easier, you can buy an iron board that fold up on to the wall, if it were me i would put it on the right side over the dryer. This way you dont have to pull it up out of that spot every time just fold it down and back up when done. Love the laundry room :)

@JDShaw32 I like those folding ironing boards!! good idea! I ended up just putting it in my linen closet because there is room for it there. It got annoying really fast-- having to pull it up over the dryer.

@lkel09 those were a couple yrs. ago at Target..but I think they still sell them.. or something similar- this was the woven brown baskets :)

Ugly spaces DO make housework hard to do. My house if FULL of ugly spaces. I even want to make the chicken house pretty, because I hate to go out there! I feel like if the walk to the chicken house and the inside and outside of the house itself were actually charming, then I'd like to be there. That's something I'm churning in my head right now. I'm so happy for your laundry room. Great job!!!

@M5convert How many lightbulbs do you have down there? Is it dim or O.K? If it is dark, paint the cement a light cream and get a light fixture with more light output if you can..or if you have outlets down there, maybe a floor lamp depending on the layout...do you have any shelving or cabinets? send me a pict! :) It is hard to say without a picture...

Oh I love it!! I love to do laundry and hang all the clothes nice and neat and it makes everything smell good lol, yes I am a dork, haha!! I am envious of your magazine worthy laundry room. Great use of space, and I absolutely love the color combo you chose looks amazing. :0)

O my goodness ! It looks great ! Makes me excited to do laundry when I have an orginized laundry room. I love wording around my house. Like in my kitchen above my pantry door I took a stencil and painted in the word PANTRY . You could also stencil in "Laundry" on the wall in brown..Just an idea..LOL....Your did a great job it looks amazing !

@busvlogger thanks busvlogger- I actually have about 4 more shelves in my garage- come get 'em! ( well I need one of them for my pantry) I actually got them out of a builders garbage bin... (Neal calls me dumpsterdiver lol- but since they were throwing it away.. the workers didn't care when I put them in my van- so I just bought the hardware is all)
