I wanted to know...what's point of using good pickups like the DiMarzios you have if your just controlling the tone completely through your POD XT live? I've seen lots of guitarists doing this before and I don't understand why. Whts point of having a good guitar/pickups if your just gonna change the tone a lot after? Isn't tone supposed to come from the guitar/pickups? Hope you can help. Thanks!
