  • Other kinds of gradients would be interesting to investigate as well - things like ph differences, humidity changes, etc. Also harvesting sound, ambient/stray EM sources etc. This is really interesting stuff, I too am excited to work in this field. I'm really interested in the high Q systems he's talking about near the end. It's also interesting to see the kind of mathematics that animate this kind of work (like stability and invariance stuff). Really exciting work and great ideas. Also 3d chip?

  • Howabout Energy Harvesting 'yard and garden art' with Ul listed Grid-Tie tech. I think it is great what you are doing but c'mon. We need to deal a blow to oil and put even small devices into homes. Howabout much bigger version hooked to grid-tie battery systems.

    Yeah you'll get money from the military but you'll make more at Wal-Mart and change the world.
