This game looks horrible. The way they keep changing the art of the cutscenes is simply unnecasarry,and it just seems inappropriate for kids. The only thing I like about these cutscenes are N-Brio. He was hilarious!

@vgman94 i grew up with crash. and im not saying change is bad. but when you COMPLETELY mess with the core concepts of a franchise, and warp it into something its not, then thats going too far. look at twinsanity. it combined old-school platforming with a new element--open world type gameplay. look at mascots like mario, sonic, or ratchet and clank. do we see the same exact game from them every time? no. we see, in their games, their core gameplay elements, COMBINED with new ones.

@spongemoney So challenge controls fun? Metal Gear Solid 3 was far harder than Metal Gear Solid 4, but I much prefer 4 over 3. Challenge doesn't always = fun. It can be good, but not always. This game is extremely easy, but that doesn't mean it isn't fun. The gameplay has good combat, platforming, the Titans, some well-hidden secrets (the way they were hidden was very Crash 1-esq). The music was excellent. The problems were the game being short and the CUTSCENES. Crash is NOT a modern cartoon.
@vgman94 When it comes to games like Crash, challenge is a big element for the fun. But seriously, this game is too easy, minus the optional missions. The enemies are really easy. The bosses are such jokes. And it's way too short. I even feel like this is shorter than Twinsanity. Although, I do like some of the cut scenes. At least they're better than the now-horrible cartoons such as SpongeBob or Family Guy.
@spongemoney Far better than Spongebob or Family Gay. The bosses should have been harder, yes. And more of them too. N-Brion should've been a true boss and a separate one from Crunch, for example. Yes, it is shorter than TwinSanity. But it has more side content than TwinSanity's gems (which were it's only after-the-game content as far as I remember).

I'll just say that SpongeBob, which used to be the greatest children's cartoon ever, just ended up being irritating and corny accompanied by characters who are no longer funny but just IRRITATING. Family Guy was always insulting but after a few seasons, it just became unbearable. They've practically managed to insult every state, religion, sexuality, nationality, tradition, etc. These cutscenes are better.

Crash has, and always will have more charm than Mario. I agree about how Mario was geat for the NES, but is getting worse later on, but that's because he's getting behind. The reason the new Crash is good is because it has more things to do: Attacks and the mutant thing among other things. If you have played them, do't have a complete opinion on them. Some people have tried them and liked them even though they hated them before.

Well, I've played them and, besides the music and this game (MOM)'s cutscenes, everything is like a old Crash version of a beat em' up. It's pretty fun if you like beat em' ups. That's what I think. Ok... But which Sonic game is a bit much? I like all Sonic games besides 06'. My favorite is Unleashed for a few good reasons. MOM is pretty funny and fun with gameplay and combat. Not close to perfect, but it's a small step in the right direction IMO. Mario hasn't really changed. It's still jump to kill enemy. Same plot with different levels. That's why I'm bored of him. I agree about some games being bad, but many games are underrated. Sure this game's not perfect, but not terrible.

I can't think of it as that funny, but funny enough and not retarded.
Another example, Spyro The Dragon. I played a bit of A New Beginning and loved it, and I really want to buy it sometime. It still had alot of Spyro charm but in an all new storyline, and it seemed more epic.
Crash has just become brainless, Aku Aku used to be a mentor, now he's more like the annoying guardin character in a cartoon, and his re-design makes him look like a bloody baboon. Uka Uka's is even worse, not indimating at all as the character is supposed to be.
I still hope Crash can still make another "Comeback" controlling even more New Mutants, or at least go back to "Twinsanity"

I Hope you don't have any friends who suddenly decide to get a tattoo or mohawk because they want to look or feel different. And I sure as Hell hope you don't become a developer. Making the same damn game repeatedly would be terrible after 10 years. The new gameplay is fun and innovative for the series.

@vgman94 yeesh, dude calm down. im allowed to speak my voice. i dont mind the new look, i just hate what happened to the series. instead of focusing more on the gameplay, R.E. and Sierra focused more on writing lame and cheesy one-liners. i admit SOME were funny, but most seemed just unnessesary. i respect if you liked it, but personally, i thought Titans was a better game, in terms of humor AND gameplay.

@vgman94 i grew up with crash. and im not saying change is bad. but when you COMPLETELY mess with the core concepts of a franchise, and warp it into something its not, then thats going too far. look at twinsanity. it combined old-school platforming with a new element--open world type gameplay. look at mascots like mario, sonic, or ratchet and clank. do we see the same exact game from them every time? no. we see, in their games, their core gameplay elements, COMBINED with new ones.

@vgman94 p.s. i dont HATE new crash. im just disappointed with what he has become. i used to be afraid of uka uka, now hes a laughing stock. i was dissapointed with this game AFTER i beat it, 3 times! yet i still play titans. if you think im the only person who is dissapointed in what crash has become, you are dead wrong. Wrath of Cortex on ps2 alone sold over 4 million copies. Mind over Mutants's COMBINED sales, dont even come close. Next time, dont trash someone for havin an opinion.

@spongemoney So challenge controls fun? Metal Gear Solid 3 was far harder than Metal Gear Solid 4, but I much prefer 4 over 3. Challenge doesn't always = fun. It can be good, but not always. This game is extremely easy, but that doesn't mean it isn't fun. The gameplay has good combat, platforming, the Titans, some well-hidden secrets (the way they were hidden was very Crash 1-esq). The music was excellent. The problems were the game being short and the CUTSCENES. Crash is NOT a modern cartoon.

@vgman94 When it comes to games like Crash, challenge is a big element for the fun. But seriously, this game is too easy, minus the optional missions. The enemies are really easy. The bosses are such jokes. And it's way too short. I even feel like this is shorter than Twinsanity. Although, I do like some of the cut scenes. At least they're better than the now-horrible cartoons such as SpongeBob or Family Guy.

Yes, it is shorter than TwinSanity. But it has more side content than TwinSanity's gems (which were it's only after-the-game content as far as I remember).

@vgman94 You'll just have to watch them because I'm not so good in giving examples. I'll just say that SpongeBob, which used to be the greatest children's cartoon ever, just ended up being irritating and corny accompanied by characters who are no longer funny but just IRRITATING. Family Guy was always insulting but after a few seasons, it just became unbearable. They've practically managed to insult every state, religion, sexuality, nationality, tradition, etc. These cutscenes are better.

Second, Crash is EPIC. Actually, It has morecharisma that mario. come on, mario is a fontaniere or a plumber, just that!!! But Nintendo made him look as the biggest thing in the world. at NES, its great, at N 64, acceptable, and deecreasing.
But Crash, it´s a strange, funny and relaxed character,and i dont know why they have changed him so much. i hate these new crash games, in fact, ive never played them.

Crash has, and always will have more charm than Mario. I agree about how Mario was geat for the NES, but is getting worse later on, but that's because he's getting behind. The reason the new Crash is good is because it has more things to do: Attacks and the mutant thing among other things. If you have played them, do't have a complete opinion on them. Some people have tried them and liked them even though they hated them before.

ey, i dont like the plumber because it´s a plumber, not because they haven´t worked on him (in fact, they made games even of Mario Toilet 2 just to sale games).

Like he's trying to be cool. I think it works for him. Mario? I like his look and I don't think he needs much of a change (same with Sonic). I just get annoyed after a while by his "wahoo!" noises. Ok... But which Sonic game is a bit much? I like all Sonic games besides 06'. My favorite is Unleashed for a few good reasons. MOM is pretty funny and fun with gameplay and combat. Not close to perfect, but it's a small step in the right direction IMO. Mario hasn't really changed. It's still jump to kill enemy. Same plot with different levels. That's why I'm bored of him. I agree about some games being bad, but many games are underrated. Sure this game's not perfect, but not terrible.

I just can't enjoy something that I've basically played for 5 games, already. Even though I love Ratchet and Clank, it also needs some changes, but not as many as Crash needed (and Ratchet's changes are only needed in gameplay, nothing more).
Not so much? It's kid friendly enough and makes some hidden jokes that will keep adults & teens with a sense of humor going.

I prefer Ratchet and Clank to Mario, I still love Mario though. I play alot of 3D platformers, including classic Crash, or should I say the only Crash as far as I'm concerned. This is as much of a Crash game as the 1998 Godzilla movie was a Godzilla movie.

As long as they keep the name, characters and is recognizable, it's good enough for me (as long as the game's good, which it is). I mean, you would hradly hate this game or at least not pay any attention to it if it was a new series instead of Crash.

Okay, fair enough, so why not give it a bit of thought when changing it? I mentioned this as an example before, but Doctor Who is a GREAT example of how to change a format but keep it similar enough for older fans to enjoy, why can't Crash do that? Another example, Spyro The Dragon. I played a bit of A New Beginning and loved it, and I really want to buy it sometime. It still had alot of Spyro charm but in an all new storyline, and it seemed more epic.
Crash has just become brainless, Aku Aku used to be a mentor, now he's more like the annoying guardin character in a cartoon, and his re-design makes him look like a bloody baboon. Uka Uka's is even worse, not indimating at all as the character is supposed to be.
