  • Hey Mark, I play this song in The key of "D". Which way did L&M play it?

  • Kenny plays it in D, which sounds good too. Or you can start in C and then change to D for the second verse that gives a nice lift.

    Can you tell me what picking pattern you are using ? It seems like a basic Travis pattern with alternating bass but what are you doing with the treble string pattern and please explain the little run up the neck - looks like maybe a D7 etc

  • Basic travis pick, the slide is from a D7 chord up the 3rd and 1st string.
