  • I made my first sloppy sushi yesterday - tasted great but looked a mess - I think it's a good idea for beginner to use a full sheet of nori - it is so difficult to get a half sheet to close even with little rice.- no wonder sushi chefs do a 3 year course to get it right.

  • @zthetha cool , i tried 1st time today n it was alright, except i use normal rice so it doesnt sticks well,n a bad knife makes the mess upon cutting. U dont necessary 3 years, try this few tips: 1-get a good knife, due to the rice and seaweed so u can get a fine cut. 2-make sure the rice is being "aired" so it's not over-moist. 3-when u cut, you can wipe the knife on each cut to ensure no sticky residue on knife that can affect the next cut. My sushi turns out nicer than above.Good luck! :)

  • @KahSing82 Many thanks or your excellent advice.

  • Woohoo!! I love sushi :3

Thanks for the video, my sushi craving has now been satisfied :D lol

  • wahhh... this is so great! I had been wondering how to roll a sushi! love the california roll:D

  • he should not cut the sushi roll in six pieces, like that. he should cut the sushi roll, in half; then cut the two halves in thirds, at the same time. that way the pieces are in uniform sizes, and it's quicker to do that way.

  • Good performance. These days we can see california roll with Abogado at running

    table Sushi restaurants in Japan.

  • Good job, Shigetake.
