Thanks for another great recipe Betty. Oh Mr. Kroeger ! Can you please sponsor Miss Betty ? She uses many many of your wonderful products in her awsome recipes. Your staunchest support and well worth sponsoring.
@bettyskitchen What a shame Betty! Mr. Krogers loss! I even wrote a letter to the company on your behalf, giving them a heads-up on your vids with all of the Kroger products...which are of great promotional value for them. Guess they are so big that they can't see the flour for the freeze huh? Anyway, your vids are fab & you have a ton of followers that are learning how to make fab dishes. This keeps the world cooking & thats a good thing. All the best to you and yours Betty !
@frostyone0164 Hi Den! The last ingredient was 2 1/2 cups Monterey Jack cheese. You can see the entire recipe by clicking the down arrow or "more info" near the video.
@bettyskitchen Hi Betty, ok thanks ill try it with chedder, but if you could describe the jack cheese to me then ill be able to look for something similar,
@frostyone0164 Hi Den a half and half mixture of Mozarella & mild cheddar would probably be as close to Monteray Jack cheese as you could get. Hope that helps? All the best !
Thanks Betty for your reply ;))) Out of all the herbs out there Cilantro is by far my favorite. It gives such a lovely burst of taste. When I watched your video I thought Cilantro would probably be perfect in it ;))) I have never used chilis in an egg dish so I wondered if the two together would be too much. Okay - I'm sold lol I'm putting Cilantro in my quiche. Thanks again Betty ! Your dishes are wonderful ! ; )
Hi Betty ; ) You now what I was thiking that that dish would be soooo tasty with Cilantro in it. What do you think. My daughter and I are going to make it this weekend. We are gonna try some fresh cilantro in it. Honestly, would that taste ok wiht the green chilis? Thanks Betty ; )
That looks absolutely outstanding...Thank you...I love to bake Quiche but I tire of the same recipes so I have been in search of new and fascinating Quiche ideas...I do believe this is one I will be using....
Another winner, Thanks Betty! Glad to hear you have an herb garden, I don't:( but I am always buying and using fresh herbs. Looking forward to seeing what you have grown and use!
I'm looking forward to seeing how much I use it, too! I used to always have a big garden, and sometimes had a small herb garden. This year I have several herbs, so it should be fun! Thanks for your nice compliment on the quiche recipe!
Betty-- Love your videos, but just not sure about the homo-genius at 3:06. I know you meant homogeneous! But it cracked me up! lol!

@frostyone0164 Hi Den, I'm sorry. I don't know, but this quiche will be great with almost any type of cheese. Cheddar is fine.

@frostyone0164 The Monterey Jack cheese is a Mexican-style cheese. It is a white cheese, and it is much milder than cheddar.

They actually do. This is the kind of dish that needs time for the flavors to fully mingle. Thanks for your comment!
