  • this is just sick

  • This song banging in your head while youre hiking in the forest with a pocket full of drugs that you're going to do when you get home, bass striking every second step

  • dat rickenbacker

  • yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. :D

  • Great band just can't stand the vocals

  • @mymorningzion Fair enough, but keep listening. You'll understand if you smoke a bowl, lie on your back in a dim lit room, and close your eyes and think of nothing but the music. If you don't experience something you cannot put into words, you've done something wrong.

  • @Sidar654231 U are devilishly punny

  • vape rok channel hello

  • this song expresses the feeling of getting some strong ass weed after suffering for weeks.

  • i just subscribed to your channel because of your name... dont disappoint me...

  • GOOD GOD! <3

  • Now that bass sounds sweet! Righteous!

  • seriously zoning out. time is getting weird.

  • I'm from India and, apart from the song, I love the song name too! Ideal if there was ever a stoner Mahabharata! (look up Mahabharata and Bhima and you'll know what I mean).

  • this song is crazy good. hypnotic and heavy

  • improving stoner metal with people is fun as hell

  • seeing Om live was like having a religious experience.

  • 3 people clearly misclicked.

  • I want that bass sound

  • @NuclearWarMaster Well, most songs are between 10 and 20 minutes of length, so I don't find that there is a lack of material. Four full-lengths is quite a bit these days, especially for a band formed in 2003.

Some more music would be neat though, Om is amazing - luckily they're releasing a new full-length next year!

  • @Grotlord Are they? I was hoping. I'm guessing full tour too.

  • "Of all the wielders of the mace, there is none equal to Bhima"

  • Bongzilla brought me here! \m/

  • Love that hypnotic groove.

  • its when it slows down with that chorus or whatever that just messes my mind

  • One of the best examples of stoner/doom metal I have ever heard.

  • What tuning is this bass in?

  • My brain is unable to comprehend the transcendental awesomeness of this song.

  • @SLripley Spoken like a true gimp!!

  • @NaNstupiddude666 yeah, i'll do that. stoner rock is better on vinyl

  • Thank you.

  • al cisneros fucking lord...

  • eargasm

  • my jazz band teacher introduced my friend to this band, who in turn introduced me. THANK YOU MR. V YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!

  • Here's an important message to every Om fan. THIS SONG HAS BEEN SHORTENED! About two minutes are missing. Send me a message if you want me to upload the full version.

  • @PisauraXTX please do

  • My cat relaxed near subwoofer when I played Om

  • the riff starting at 1:06 is fucking epic..

  • heavy psychedelia! What could go wrong?

  • stonerfags

  • @SinitarRules what to you have against stoners?

  • @SinitarRules i seen have sex with dogs at a party.

  • @Adam4T3Middleton you got something against beastiality

  • @SinitarRules i did then but through your insight and inspiration i now have a whole new outlook on fucking the shit out of dogs.

  • @Adam4T3Middleton you are my hero.

  • @SinitarRules and what if I'm a girl

  • @SinitarRules popfaggot

  • @SinitarRules This is good when you're not stoned if you're fan of this music. Clearly you're not, so fuck off with your unnecessary ad hominem comments and listen to things you like.

  • Al and Chris together were/are THE greatest two piece band to ever grace this plain of existence upon this here sphere.

  • the bass line reminds me of You Lied by Peach. Just saying. Good song though

  • the vocals could be better!!

  • sounds kinda like when primus gets all pyschedelicly.

  • Al's inspired me to put the pick away and go back to fingers

  • they say classical music stimulates the brain processes or something... i wonder if they could do tests on this doom metal to see if it consistantly lowers blood pressure.

what if doctors started prescribing it?!!

  • @flexorlamonticus I like how you're thinking bro. I'll see if someone can do it some years in the future.

  • @flexorlamonticus the trials would have to be strictly controlled or else the results could be somewhat skewed due to the number of test subjects having smoked a bowl or eaten some home baking beforehand.

  • if you are familiar with the Mahabharat, and know who Bhima is, it does sound appropriate :)

  • I didn't think it possible for the bass to be SO GOOD in a song that I don't mind the lack of guitar, but here we are.

  • @electricsouperman That doesn't make sense! A bass *IS* a guitar!

  • @somethingthatrhymes That's just stupid.

  • @HeadFullaFuzz If you're referring to his comment about the bass being a guitar, I have to ask, what's stupid about his statement? The modern bass came about by taking a four-course guitar (already hundreds of years old) and putting really heavy gauge strings on it. In fact, any bass (from 1 string to 13 strings and beyond) is just a guitar with really heavy gauge strings.

  • Kickass bass!

  • im gonna catch these guys live soon can't wait =)

  • i think the first time i listened to this my blood pressure dropped to about 3/4 of what it was pre-listening. so melodic and relaxing, yet sludgy at the same time. just all around fantastic

  • @TheMjolniir wow, that is awesome.

  • @TheMjolniir Hey look! Its my old unacessable account!

  • the riff from 1:38 sounds like the ending of Pyramid Of The Moon, which is also played and sung by Al Cisneros. COINCIDENCE??

  • @Metaalhoofdje123 Recurrence is an important stylistic device in Doom Metal. Doesn't matter if it's in a song, an album... or two different bands :D

  • It's hard to decide wether this is more or less than Metal... Well, it's less complicated and less fast, but it is more psychidelic and more HEAVY!

  • DOOOOOOM

  • I would describe Om as monkrock. With a phat bass the size of satan's cock.

  • @Sidar654231 HAHA that's right man! Way to go!

  • @Sidar654231 that even rhymed

  • @Sidar654231 That rhymes.

  • to me OM is part of a certain type of music that was distinctly from the 00's.

  • Heaven yeah!

  • heaven yeah!

  • oh yeah

    im so buying this CD!

  • Oh lord, please take me now. This is marvellous!

  • sound like acid king

  • I listened to this and my headache went away

  • Bhima was a character from the Indian mythology Mahabharata. He was believed to possess the strength of 10,000 elephants, which he used to pound his enemies to dust. I can totally imagine him coolly walking out with this song in the background, and ripping someone's chest apart. Fucking epic!

  • @MrMaidenAddict well worded!

  • Really dig the part at 2:10 where it slows down the slightest bit. Or maybe it's just me?...

  • @AKShaolin no you're right it gets even more doomy there!

  • I wish there were more bands I like as much as Om

  • @NewStonerSunRising Listened to Earth ?

  • I hate every little second before the songs going to end.. Can't it go on? The bass makes my heart glow, kisses my ears and puts a spell on my entire body. Thats really true.

  • All hail the mighty fuzz

  • Praise the Lord!

  • fuck guitars, bass is where it's at!

  • His voice makes me feel like I'm in a Pyramid in Egypt.

    5 Stars.

  • Listening to this in the middle of the night outside. It's cold, but I don't care. I'm on top of the world. Or on the bottom? Who knows?

  • Al Cisneros has got to be my favorite Bass player. Coz it sounds like a guitar.

  • I fall on my knees and pray. Monstrous.

  • diging it!

  • does anyone know what bass distortion Al's using here?

  • @shalbus GREEN AMP.

  • So heavy. This song feels like someone pouring honey into my ears and then tickling my brain so that the liquid bounces around inside of my head and drips down my spinal chord.

  • my mistake. this album is standard D tuning. conference and variations are standard FLAT. hard to sound like him. yep lots of fuzz and crunch. the only way to play.

  • yes, yes, yes, YEAH!!

    very epic thx for upload..

  • standard FLAT tuning

  • Bir Hakeim?

  • Its admirable that the heaviness comes from the "density" of the music rather than sheer decibel levels...I don't even know if I am making sense here...But what I am trying to say is...Hells Yeah!

  • @kayeos It's all about the bass, and an awesome fuzz pedal.

  • @ajgsxr Amen! I think heavier music is well served by a slower sludgy tone rather than speed. Crowbar for example, is a fine example of a slow, low and heavy sound. I am loving the bass!

  • @kayeos You mean it comes from the depth of the bass rather than volume?

  • @SpyroLUVA I don't want to get too technical (and trust me I know nothing of the technicality of music anyway!). To me this music is heavy and relentless like an unstoppable locomotive. And it's heaviness would be the same if I was playing it on the lowest audible register or blasting out windows with the bass...If that made any sense at all!

  • @kayeos That to me has always been the true definition of 'Heavy'. Thats why black sabbath, electric wizard & such are heavier than necrophagist or whatever. Theres loud, abrasive, agressive etc... But heavy is heavy. People confuse the terms.

  • @buprenorphed To me, heavy does not necessarily mean super down-tuned. For example, a ton of old-school DM isn't downtuned but it's heavy. I guess I view heavy as how good the riffs are rather than being tuned to drop A.

  • @kayeos i get sucked into a powerful trance..it's great..relieves stress..it is heavy, and hard, and dark...love it

  • @kayeos Don't worry man. We understand because were feeling it too.

  • @kayeos Looks like someone is listening to this music the right way.

    (Spaced the fuck out.)

  • @kayeos exactly with doom metal from whatever subgenre (especially with gothic or funeral doom) the heaviness isnt about the volume at all but the atmosphere and vibe

  • @joelakastud123 don't lie volume is a part of the atmosphere and vibe. Om is FUCKING LOUD.

  • @joelakastud123 Dude hell no. Doom is all about playing slow, low, and loud.

  • LSD ... and then the world is yours...

  • The bass is in standard tuning. It is massive distortion that you're hearing, not tuning down.

  • wow a song dedicated to Bhima from the Mahabharta...

  • they tuned that bass way down. if it is a bass guitar at all.

  • It is.

  • @oscarvestdijk

    Its all bass & drum.

  • Haha. I wanna know how Al gets this sound.

Also, I had a dumb thought: I was like, man. These guys are AMAZING, but they'd do well with a guitar player, and I LOVE Matt Pik--Oh. Yeah. Haha.

    Stone on, man.

  • Rickenbacker bass + standard tuning + LOUD Green amps + lots of distortion = Al's sound

    its surprisingly simple

  • More sublime stuff - this bass is incrediible! Right on, right on...

  • Mellow and heavy.

  • Powerful.

  • The fucking bass is breath taking.

    :D

  • love the sound of his bass

  • If it ain't HEAVY.......

    It ain't SHIT!!!!!!!!!!
