Adobe After Effects looks so damn hard. Im currently learning Sony Vegas. Started off with noobprogram (Windows Movie Maker) and now Sony Vegas. But I manage Sony Vegas now, so I'll try After Effects. I bet it's x30 as hard as Sony Vegas

They are different types of programs so you really can't compare them to each other. After Effects is a graphics design software while Vegas is what is known as a New Linear Editor (NLE) and is used primarily for editing video.

Just get both sony vegas pro 9 and adobe after effects cs4 and you'll make some killer videos.
