It's my understanding this guy had his animals taken from him. He was taken to court by a "friend of a friend" and for whatever reason, all of his herps were seized.

My critisism was of his delusional assertion that this snake somehow struck at him by accident and of his SUPPORT of venomoid surgery. "Saying" that you don't aprove of something is meaningless if you're giving money to the people who practice this "something". If you buy venomoids, you're subsidizing the surgery and therefore SUPPORTING the practice.

You can never be sure it's going to stay 100% venomoid it's entire life. That's what I've learned from watching a very experienced fellow here on youtube that breeds/takes care of many venomous snakes. I don't know the specifics but poor removal of glands (also heard they can grow back?) etc.
